Delibirb
I like Sylvans on a conceptual level, and they have proven to everyone to be very powerful, especially post-PRIO. A number of variants have appeared, ranging from Synchro to Dragon Rulers to Gigavise, but here i've put together the form I prefer. Pure, untainted, Xyz Sylvans.

Main Deck: 40 Monsters: 27 3 Sylvan Hermitree Draw Power 3 Sylvan Sagequouia Probably the best Main Deck Sylvan 2 Sylvan Ferrylotus Recycler, but clogs at 3 3 Sylvan Flowerknight Topdecker and 1800 beater 3 Sylvan Marshalleaf 2nd best Main Deck Sylvan, obviously 2 Lonefire Blossom Need I say more? 3 Sylvan Komushroomo 3rd best, of course 3 Sylvan Peaskeeper Lonefire revival 3 Sylvan Cherubsprout Field advantage maker 2 Copy Plant Because you asked for it... Makes R7/8 plays more consistent Spells: 9 3 Sylvan Charity Broken 3 Miracle Fertilizer Activating 3 is fun 3 Mount Sylvania Non-essential, but definitely speeds things up Traps: 4 2 Sylvan's Blessing Recycle big guys from grave, use as wall or Xyz Mat 2 Sylvan Waterslide Maintain or regain advantage. Has pulled me out of a bad situation too many times Extra Deck: 15 1 Number 62: Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon Rank 8 Super Beater 1 Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon Rank 8 negater 1 Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis Rank 8 super murderer for game 1 Alsei, the Sylvan High Protector More for theme, rarely used 1 Divine Dragon Knight Felgrand Rank 8 Defensive beater 2 Oreia, the Sylvan High Arbiter The best Sylvan of all time 1 Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack Rank 7 defense 1 Number 11: Big Eye Rank 7 disruption 1 Number 39: Utopia Not-as-much-but-still-kind-of-staple 1 Number 101: Silent Honor ARK Rank 4s happen occasionally 1 Downerd Magician For Dullahan 1 Evilswarm Exciton Knight Emergency/Situational 1 Number 49: Fortune Tune Rank 3 mini wall 1 Ghostrick Dullahan When Rank 1's happen
I know most people dont like Blessing, but I think it is better than CotH for Sylvans, due to its recycle factor, as well as the eff immunity. Some guy at my locals says hermit at 3 is bad, but with Blessing and Oreia, having him in the hand is always appreciated. Also you can topdeck him with Charity if he happens to be useless atm. I personally am not overly fond of Synchro Variants. I think this works faster and is better at regaining control after a small catastrophe. Delibirb
>no copy plant >sylvans >Pure Don't run Helio run Felgrand. eew utopia Oh right, forgot Felgrand. Doesnt need copy plant in my experience, having access to 2 7s/8s easily if it wants them. Besides, I wouldnt want to replace any of these for copy plant. Given making R4s doesnt really happen I just sort of threw something minimal together, which included Utopia for whatever reason.
goddamnit names are a pain
Also Number 62 is amazing IMO but it's up to you.... I think you have plenty to throw away for 2-3 copy plants.

Aix
Yeah, really, the hell are you doing without Copy Plant. If you don't have Copy Plant, why are you running 3 Cherubsprout? Blessing? Recycle? You are doing something wrong if you are letting it shuffle your monster away because you are -2ing yourself. What is that horrendous Continuous Trap doing there? Just because it happened to work a few times doesn't mean it actually does. Triple Hermitree is sure to clog, its main application would be as fodder and, except for Atlanteans, you don't run stuff just because it's extra fodder. Spore isn't just for Synchroes, you can Xyz using him as well and the extra access to Synchroes is always to appreciated. Don't forget that Copy Plant is also a Tuner. Wildflame
Sorry, but yeah, not having Copy Plant instantly makes this bad. It's the main reason why you want to play Sproutcolyte. And while it's a Tuner, you don't even need Synchros to make it work.
Delibirb
Alright alright, copy plant needs room. Geezus. Way to be jerks about it. >_> Like I said I make my Rank 7/8s with ease without Copy Plant, but obviously I cant deny Copy Plant can make them with an added level of reliability. Blessing being used to recycle is the last resort, as I said, its more often to be used as Xyz, or to topdeck a Leaf in hand for excavation. The fact that it does recycle if it needs to is nice for the archetype, was my point. Waterslide is better than you think. The fact that it saved me a few times isnt an argument for its usefulness, its a minor example. Most times I use it when I already have the advantage and it affirms my victory. All of that said, -1 Blessing -1 Waterslide +2 Copy Plant
Aix
If you are doing Sylvans properly, you're opponent isn't going to be attacking you directly.
Delibirb
If you are doing Sylvans properly, you're opponent isn't going to be attacking you directly. It isnt the attack directly excavation that I use mostly, its the draw phase one. -_- But, Torrential Tribute/Dark Hole can and does happen, so it is nice to have it there for those moments as well.
