Weird link in my thread.

There's this link in my thread when you scroll over the words "ball rolling" and I didn't put it there. It this doesn't happen to any other site I go to and I also scanned my computer so I know it's not a virus so I'm just wondering what is it doing there.

It's a plugin that your browser has installed, nothing to do with the site. It uses common terms and automatically searches them on Amazon, some sites have this as a plugin but YCM does not.

HOW DO I GET RID OF IT!

It's most likely a part of toolbar or an extension, depending on the browser used-you should be able to find something around extensions within the settings-also the next time you all caps and demand help with a problem I will not jump to give it.

Sorry for the all caps thing. The weird thing is that I only see this happen on this site so I thought maybe it's the site.

I doubt it's the site, I've only ever had the problem when a toolbar decides to add itself, can you get me a screencap of your browser?

Install an Ad Blocker if really bothers you that much like AdBlock Pro.

AdBlock doesn't block Ads within a separate extension as far as I know.

Here's my screencap. I know how everyone feels about attachments but this was the best I could do. Also, I looked on many other sites and a number iof other forums I frequent. This is the only one where this is happening.

Yeah this is pretty much the best answer. If it doesn't work look into your toolbar manager like Tormented said.

 

I also run NoScript so maybe that might also help, but you'll need to whitelist a bunch of sites.

It's actually because YCMaker wants more revenue and installed an ads plugin. The only thing you can do is install Adblock and you won't see it.

It appeared again only now it leads to amazon.com and it happens when you scroll over "Reptilianne". O.K. guys what's going on with these ad links?

Oh dear God, thank you, also I'm sorry for triple posting. You have no idea how much of a relief it is for me to hear that. I have adhunter, maybe that will work. Oh btw, you can lock this thread if you want.
