Nathanael D. Striker
Rules 1. All Leaderboard and Tournament Rules Apply 2. First to 3 votes or most by 11:59 pm Pacific Time on March 19th wins. 3. Votes must have a valid reason. 4. Winner gets 1 Rep from loser. 5. I have the right to add rules. Card Requirement Create a viable RUM card. Simple, yet effective. Card A Target 1 Xyz Monster you control; Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 Xyz Monster with the same Type and Attribute as that target but 1 Rank higher, by using it as the Xyz Material. (This Special Summon is treated as an Xyz Summon, Xyz Material attached to that target also become Xyz Materials on the Summoned monster.) You can shuffle 1 card from your hand into the Deck; add this card from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. You can only activate this effect of "Rank-Up-Magic Alchemy Force" once per duel. Card B When your opponent activates a card effect OR when an attack is declared: Target 1 Xyz Monster you control; Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 "Number C" or "CXyz" monster that is 1 Rank higher than that monster you control, by using it as the Xyz Material and draw 1 card. (This Special Summon is treated as an Xyz Summon. Xyz Materials attached to that target also become Xyz Materials on the Summoned monster.) Northern Sage
Okay,Card A's design is really questionable to say the least. Searchable from the deck by its own effect and freely recyclable is questionable even with the restrictiveness in its Summoning capability. Card B is fine in comparison. Qliphort Tool
so it's 1-0 Card B, thx for voting
Vector Nightmare
...yeah probably the "add this from deck" part killed card A. It's fair enough without it, but still, kinda bland design. Card B is still too strong, the draw 1 part is way too much on a quick-play RUM, not to mention no type or attribute dependency gives R4 deck too much power with C101 @+1 if what you chain to is MST/BTH/whatever. Still gonna have to vote for card B though, A takes self-toolboxing a few giant steps too far.
Maeriberii Haan
I'll finish this. Just like everyone has said, card A's abilty to be toolboxed at will out of nowhere is ridiculous (though I'm not really sure if this is intentional or not). Card B is really powerful (can make your xyz dodge any targetting effect, and is pretty much better than both Argent Chaos and Limited Barian Force, and the draw is really overkill). Both are badly designed, but A's ridiculous ability to get into your hand is too much. Vote for B. and seriously guys, both are borked.
