Nakateleeli: Does a lot of obscure games, plus the new Mario releases. Also some games by popular demand. Commentary style is rather quirky, and mostly focused on humorous responses and referential humor.

Chip and Ironicus: Do a wide assortment of games, Metal Gear Solid is the most known, though. The Let's Plays tend to lean to the informative side in regards to commentary.

NintendoCapriSun: A large variety, tends to be more Nintendo oriented. Also somewhat obscure games.

Bikdiponabus: Rare and Nintendo mostly. Does notoriously difficult hacks like Kaizo Mario 64. Has a very dry delivery.

(These are all on Youtube, if you couldn't tell by the links)

He isn't a Let's Player, but CosmoSpeedruns on Youtube is a great speedrunner, he mostly does Windwaker, but he's been working a Castlevania game and he did an OoT run too I think.

Um... AttackingTucans fits into both categories, but he isn't for everyone.

For Pokemon, Marriland is one of the best Let's Players you'll find. He's currently doing a Pokemon Black Wedlocke, and has plans to do a Pokemon Black 2 Wedlocke once it's over.

SSoHPKC is another favorite of mine, he's been playing South Park: The Stick of Truth and it's been a load of fun.

StephenPlays is cool, he's plays a large variety of games and sometimes he plays with his wife, Mal.

Vechs is a great LP'er, he's part of the Mindcrack server and he's playing a couple other games that I haven't really watched.

Um... More later maybe. Might edit in links when I'm not being lazy.

I can definitely agree with STAR, LazyPurple is also another entertaining TF2 player.

RoosterTeeth's Achievement Hunter videos are always amazing, and I'm subscribed to pretty much all 12+ Yogscast channels, they're all great.

GameGrumps, TheRunawayGuys (and its constituents, ChuggaConroy, ProtonJon, and NintendoCaprisun), JoshJepson, CaptainSparklez, TotalBiscuit, and Trump are all good gaming channels I enjoy, too.

I really just watch Markiplier for now.

Twitch and Youtube, actually.

Markiplier

I think his Twitch is just Markiply.

He plays a lot of PC games and some obscure ones at that. Guy is freaking hilarious.

Then there is Frankie. If he counts.

He just Youtubes, I think.

He's hilarious to watch and hear play FPS, especially Day Z.

They're really popular, but I swear I never see fans of them anywhere unless I'm specifically LOOKING for them.

I'm referring to The Best Friends Zaibatsu (otherwise known as Two Best Friends Play, Super Best Friends, TheSw1tcher, etc), who are my favorite LPers of all time, without a doubt in my mind.

They're funny to watch, enjoyable to listen to, are knowledgeable on many subjects, and are over all awesome dudes. They're currently doing a PKMN Leaf Green nuzlocke (Matt, Woolie, Liam) and a playthrough of Yakuza 4 (Matt, Pat), have a mailbag they release every now and then (They were recently sent TWO of those SUPER EXPENSIVE GURREN LAGANN BOX SETS), and release a 3 hour or so podcast every Tuesday.

Seriously, they're a short angry ginger, an american dream, a huge black fighting game nerd, and a tall white weaboo. Craziest combination of guys ever.

But Mako, that's not hype. The fact that they were then legitimately worried for their fans who spent so much money on them is what's super hype.

Anyway, one of my faves, probably only behind The Best Friends, is the channel GameSocietyForPimps. Their Fallout and Skyrim "LPs" are like half LP and half machinima as they have the tendency to edit a lot out so only the best parts remain as they role play as the characters. The characters are for the most part very similar but with a few quirks that set them apart. Nonetheless, that and a few of the other random things they do are really all just simply fantastic.

Nothernlion is another guy I follow. He used to do a series on Machinima called Poison Mushroom series that was hilarious. He mostly plays Binding of Isaac with a few other things. He tries to be pretty informative in his videos while still staying fairly humorous. I'll admit, I don't watch everything of his as he plays a lot of games I just don't care for but for the most part he's still and enjoyable commentator.
