So after over a year (Mainly due to me losing motivation because of IRL stuffs), the tourney is back and will continue from where I left off... which means Round 2 will begin.

 

The 64 remaining characters will be put in a bracket generator on randomresult.com like they were in Round 1, and any characters who tie their matches will have a rematch at the end of the round.

With the final match over, we have a winner!

 

Final results:

1st Green (Pokemon FRLG)

2nd Lelouch Lamperouge (Code Geass)

3rd Iron Man (Iron Man)

 

Before I decide to close this thread I will compile some statistics for the entire tourney. That will come momentarily

 

Tournament statistics:

Throughout the course of the tournament, there were a number of whitewash victories:

Whitewashers:
Round 1:
- Bruno/Antinomy
- ~BS~
- Aporia
- Indiana Jones
Round 2:
- N
- Luffy
- Red
Round 4:
- N
- Mario
- Joey
- Namine

(N was the only character to score two Whitewash victories)
 
Two YCMers were entered into the tourney
~BS~ made it as far as Round 3 when he was beaten by Marik
Legend Zero on the other hand didn't even make it past Round 1, losing to Red

 

Drake faced the main characters of two of Seth MacFarlane's animated series in Rounds 1 and 2 (Peter Griffin and Stan Smith) and came out on top.

 

Mario had to go through TWO Smash Bros matches, against Tabuu in Round 1 and Master Hand in Round 4, and won both matches.

 

Lelouch Lamperouge had to go through deadlock TWICE in a row, in Round 4 and the Quarter Finals, and won both times.

- The second Semi-Final pitted the two deadlocked characters in the Quarter-Finals against each other (Drake vs Lelouch), Lelouch came out on top.

 

In Round 4, the RNG Goddess wanted to give Joey Wheeler redemption against Marik after his loss to him in the Battle City Finals back in DM Season 3. This time Joey won.

 

Throughout the course of the tourney, Green faced off against THREE Pokemon characters (Kyurem in Round 2, Gary in Round 3 and N in the Quarter-Finals) and defeated them all.

Thanks, I wanted to at least finish the tournament I initially started like 2 years ago.

 

That being said, I would like to run another tournament like this, but given that the GFET and GPT are currently going on, it won't be for a while and also as the victor of the tournament; Green will not be allowed to enter my second tournament.

I like that, that's a good way of doing it. ^^
And yeah, if it helps any the GFET should finish um...let's see....by the end of the month or so.

That's fine, I was intending on waiting a few weeks anyway because otherwise it just feels too soon.

When I first started this tournament, I always had the "Ban the victor from the next tournament" idea in the back of my mind, because it gives other people a chance.
