Thar
Hopefully someone here likes curling enough to appreciate this kind of invention. A "Shot Rock" is basically a hollow curling stone made of wood, and on the inside, a rack holds up to 8 shot glasses for which you can remove the top and serve either before or after a fun game. I was given the opportunity to make official drawings for this, which will be used for mass-production purposes for the inventor's new workshop after he moves to Florida. ------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------ The drawings have a language of their own, but hopefully people will understand them enough to know what's going on. On that note, I can answer any questions anyone has. Comments?
Aix
Oh, CAD, I remember doing these before. How long does it take you to do them? I think I remember the 2D ones being relatively simple, but I've never done 3D.
Thar
It took me about an hour to make the 3D model, and it took me another hour to slap each model into 2D drawings. I spent the remaining 3 revising everything, converting them to PDFs, and turning the PDFs into PNGs to post them here. The time left over I just dawdled around in class doing nothing, so my instructor let me leave early. But yeah, as an engineering student, it's exciting to be given a job like this. Hopefully this will get me a reference for future career opportunities.
