Card A has a possible use in Decks that focus around Equip Cards, though it only adds one upon summon. Depending on how many Equips you have on it when tributed, you could end up destroying about 2-3 on average (unless you somehow fill all your S/T zones with Equips solely on it). * hint at manga Rua *

Card B has an auto Breaker effect, but only works if your opponent has 2 S/T and can destroy ANY card your opponent has. If it dies, you get a card draw.

Hard to choose, but card A gets it for balance reasons (but only by a slight margin)

Card A can grab any equip spell from your deck, and can destroy a lot of spell and trap cards, though you'll need to waste some spells to do so. Card B can destroy a card, provided if the opponent has 2 or more Spell/Trap cards, and gives you a draw on death. I'm going to vote for card B, since it would be a card in a more generic Spellcaster deck. Card A is alright, but the limited spell search does draw away from itself.

Card A:

Deck searchers are always good in my opinion, even better if the come with the shape of a monster, and this card is no exception. It can search cool equips like the pseudo-Reborns Galaxy Zero, Spellbook of Life and Gagagarevenge. However, the archetypes that run those Equips already have cards that can search them, so they may not bother with this. I wouldn't use this for its second effect though, because it would be a waste of resources: It turns the Equips into MSTs, but then you lose the monster as well. If it could be equipped with any Equip Spell that gives you a card after it is destroyed (e.g. Supervise, Vylon Equips) then it would be neat, but that's not the case.

Card B:

As a Spellcaster it reminds me of Breaker, but has the bonus of being able to hit monsters as well. Great for removing a problem card, and can be faster at removing a monster than Ryko, Snowman Eater or Fencing Fire Ferret (although she doesn't go around Skill Drain as Ferret does). The second effect is decent, but nowadays the "destroyed by battle" condition is underwhelming since the game is plagued with effect removal. Still, it should be good for discouraging the opponent from attacking her, or giving you a card if he/she doesn't mind doing it.

My vote goes to Card B for its simple yet effective effects that can be welcomed in any Deck. Card A is good, but by searching Equip Spells it is not as generic, and thus goes against the requirement of the contest.

Card A can pick up an Equip card (+1) and then by tributing it with equip card, it can destroy at s/t. Even without the tribute-destroy effect, it is already quite strong. However, it wont hurt to get an extra effect, who know in case I really need it. It is a strong card, but not generic.

Card B on the other hand, is weaker. Can only destroy if opponent has 2 or more s/t. Weak atk / def but compensated with +1 when it is destroyed by battle. Quite good, and fits the theme better.

Maybe I will choose Card A instead of B when I am dueling. But in this competition, I will pick B as the winner as it fits the theme better and more balance.
