Slinky
Why is it called Miracle Aliens?
Airride
Why is it called Miracle Aliens? this post made me depressed Why aren't you questioning the numerous other decks that have their names inspired by some song the creator puts in the thread? Slinky
Derp. Didn't see the music tab. Also. Mass Hypnosis > Brainwashing beam Hypnosis just has an additional condition of requiring an alien, but it can steal up to 2 more monsters.
Airride
It also can't be used as disruptively, as it gets killed at the end of the turn, which is what Brainwashing is mainly used for.
Toffee.
IMO, you should find room for like 2 Kagetokages.Mostly because King Feral would then become more live, and, since Aliens are Reptile, King can then toolbox your whole deck for you. Airride
Some Changes made Dropped Honest, Beams, and 1 Dog for Dualities, Maxx, and apparently something else sneaked in that I didn't realize. IDK. Deck runs okay if it has a good hand, but it;s really hard to do anything without ammonite or M-Triangle or whatever.
Darj
You could main or side 2~3 Deck Lockdown. Great anti-meta card that combos with Gol'gar and, if I remember correctly, was the reason Aliens managed to top once in an OCG tourney during a Dragon Ruler format. Slinky
Safe Zone, Fiendish, Call of the Haunted, and Deck Lockdown all combo really well with Gol'gar.
Catterjune
- 2 Alien Dog- 3 Mysterious Triangle- 2 Offerings to the Snake Deity- 1 Mist Wurm+ 1 Rescue Rabit+ 3 Alien Shock Trooper+ 3 Kagetokage+ 1 King of Feral ImpCosmic Fortress is the entire lifeblood of the deck, and getting it as early and quickly as possible is paramount. One small step towards that is summoning King of Feral Imps. Kagetokage and Rescue Rabbit help in that.
Airride
Safe Zone, Fiendish, Call of the Haunted, and Deck Lockdown all combo really well with Gol'gar. Space. It's that thing. You know, that I don;t have. Help with it would be nice. - 2 Alien Dog - 3 Mysterious Triangle - 2 Offerings to the Snake Deity - 1 Mist Wurm + 1 Rescue Rabit + 3 Alien Shock Trooper + 3 Kagetokage + 1 King of Feral Imp Cosmic Fortress is the entire lifeblood of the deck, and getting it as early and quickly as possible is paramount. One small step towards that is summoning King of Feral Imps. Kagetokage and Rescue Rabbit help in that. I tried the rabbit build post-semi'ing, and I really, REALLY don't like it. It just feels...inconsistent. Also Mysterious Triangle is good why would you take it out
Catterjune
Rabbit: The most important play of this deck is summoning Cosmic Fortress. It is the only win condition. Because of this, I feel all points should lead to it. I didn't like it when it was Semi'd, but it felt a little less likely to be a dead draw when it was limited. It feels fine with a 3-1 ratio, but that's just me.Triangle: There's nothing inherently wrong with the card, the biggest problem is A-Counters. A-Counters, and focusing on cards with A-Counters (other than Cosmic Fortress) is pretty awful.I've thought about the fun little plays of infinite A-Counters, and then activating Brainwashing beam or Mass Hypnosis and doing a dumb sudden reversal like that. It never goes off. Opponents synchro with the monsters that have A-Counters, or Xyz with them. The biggest problem with A-Counters is, if you're losing... you're losing and you're just playing catchup at this point. The "A-Counter focused fun decks" requires you to be losing first, and then maybe get some good combos in. If you're winning the whole way through... A-Counters require faceup monsters to put them on, and your opponent's not attacking Alien Warrior if he's losing. They're not summoning face-up for Alien Dog to go off.So again, the problem with Triangle is that it's only good when you're losing. Instead of "this card is good when I'm losing", you should be playing "this card is good when I'm winning or when I'm losing".Kagetokage is amazing, and an opening play of [any random Alien] + Kagetokage usually leads to Turn 2 Cosmic Fortress (unless your opponent uses Effect Veiler, but what-can-ya-do?)Cosmic Fortress is without a doubt THE best card in the deck, and you should always be focusing on summoning it or getting plays to get Ammonite to hand, with King of Feral Imps.I'd probably also include more continous spells TBQH, but that's just my own personal opinions on Aliens.Source: I've been playing as an "Alien Duelist" in an RP since May 2009 so I've run many, many variants of Aliens and I found them most consistent when focusing on GolGar and not focusing on "fun" A-Counter nonsense. If you insist on keeping Triangle (though I strongly recommend against it) drop Alien Dog, Offerings, and Foolish Burial to zero. Play more Code A. Max Kagetokage. And run more Feral Imp. Those truly are the cards that make GolGar much more consistent.
goddamnit names are a pain
Space. It's that thing. You know, that I don;t have. Help with it would be nice. but you play aliens space everywhere Hmm....considered Lavalval Chain? Then again 2 Level 4's doesn't seem THAT common without Kageto. Airride
I'll put Triangle at 2. Triangle is amazing with Kid on the field, Gol'gar out (Helps you continue combos), and if you have to set warrior. Even though I know A-Counters are bad (I dropped Beam for a reason, and I run very few other cards that rely on them), it's still a really good card, IMO. Changes made.
