Not-so-Radiant Arin
Because I made a status about it earlier on the forums, I decided I should listen to the fanbase and post my cards even if they aren't really "prepared" yet. Anyways, I plan to have a topic up eventually about the mechanics of the game and just how to play the game in the Other TCG Section, so you should probably check that out sometime soon.
A Unit is essentially what one might call a "Monster Card" in YGO, or a "creature" in Magic. However, unlike Magic, "Units" like these are not considered spells. Cooldown represents how many turns you must wait before you can play the card. There are skills, however (which equate to abilities in magic, or effects in YGO), which allow you to decrease the Cooldown of certain cards.

Pretty much your cut and paste Spell, they function the same as they do in most of your card games. They instantly give you an effect for generally a low cost and are also quick to play.
All of these cards were made in GIMP using this template, provided by Lackey CCG. Feel free to butcher. Just Crouton
I'd say darken the frames. I'm not feeling the bright red for a frame color, but I'm more of a white text over dark background type of person.
Sleepy
I have a few suggestions. The name needing 2 lines is a bit odd. I think if your Cooldown section (number and words) was smaller and went a tiny little bit down, you could fit the whole name on top. Also, the word "cooldown" is a bit hard to see when in front of a dark image. I think the letters could afford to go sideways, parallel to the image frame. That or it could get a semi-transparent layer behind it to differentiate it from the black in the image that might potentially end up there. The stats could be... smaller is not the word I'm thinking here. They are dangerously close to the image border, and to me personally it looks weird that they have that whole section and are not centered. They also seem a little stretched upward in general along with the shield symbol. In CFV, they make sure every piece of data looks like it's in front of everything else without mixing in with how the card images cover almost the whole card. Maybe those could be a good example. Finally, in my humble opinion and even though I don't know anything about working digitally myself, I'd have to say that the card background's textures, the blue one works for me but I can't help but think blood when I look at the red one. Or at least I believe it might be the texture.... That's my two cents.
Alastar Rainford
The art border I beleave is a little on the thick side. You could probably do without the cooldown wording in the art and maybe give the circle a thin black outline around it. You could also get rid of the top and left border for more art. I might also suggest shrinking the sword to where its inside the outline.
