Slinky
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only beSpecial Summoned from your hand or Deck in Defense Position when a "Guardian Eatos" you control is destroyed. When this card is SpecialSummoned by this effect, you can equip this card with 1 "Reaper Scythe - Dreadscythe" from your hand or Deck. You cannot Normal or Special Summon monsters. If this card would be destroyed, you mustdiscard 1 card instead. DARK fiend, level 8, 2500/0 Bout damn time this card was released. Seems interesting to say the least, but probably won't be used since Guardians aren't relevant anywhere. Not even in Casual play :c Discuss? Mutant Monster RAEG-HAPYP
Is this the actual effect? Looks like the anime one.
Slinky
Uh, yeah, its the anime. Real one isn't confirmed yet for ANY of the cards in DRLG yet. Except C106.
Sleepy
I hate it when Konami releases something that could have had it's fun a very long time ago, at a point where not even casual wants it. Especially when it's 10 damn years and pretty much all my IRL friends and opponents from that time have quit the game and won't be getting joy over this release. Though better late than ever I guess. Mutant Monster RAEG-HAPYP
Then in that case, it might get changed to where it might be slightly usable. I HOPE they don't just utterly wreck it though.
evilfusion
Guardian Eatos took an eternity to arrive. I'm not surprised Dreadscythe is in the same boat. I'm very curious how they'll make the RL effect, though. Reaper Scythe - Dreadscythe was a card that destroyed all your monsters, and gave +500 ATK per monster in the Graveyard. Since Guardian Eatos in RL got an effect similar, but less broken, to Celestial Sword - Eatos, I think perhaps Dreadscythe will get something in the same boat. Dreadscythe was only so powerful because it couldn't be destroyed unless you had no cards in hand, and Reaper Scythe gave it a huge ATK boost. I could see that being a "once-per-turn" effect. It also probably will have an effect related to having an Equip Card, either equipped to it, or sending it to the Graveyard, similar to Eatos' RL effect. And I'm betting it'll have an effect that can Special Summon it if you have Eatos in the Graveyard, as that would be mildly synergetic with Eatos' effect to SS it if you have NO monsters in the Graveyard. Wildflame
It might be completely unrelated to Guardians, like Eatos.
Canadian
It might be completely unrelated to Guardians, like Eatos. This is what I hope for, otherwise it will be awful. And even then, it still might be.
goddamnit names are a pain
Meh my buddy on DN will still sack/play this in anime form. He runs some random Fairy/Agent/Eatos deck and apparently always has an Eatos turn one on DN. (I can verify *shot*) Yeah....such a great deck...to beat. So yeah it'll be fun to keep smacking him for playing bad cards.
玄魔の王
My guess is it will have the Sin Truth summon effect, and from there it could be the combination of its anime effect (maybe OPT on destruction prevention) and Reaper Scything upon summon. TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
What if it ends up a reverse Eatos, and requires no removed from play cards to special from the hand?
Wildflame
What if it ends up a reverse Eatos, and requires no removed from play cards to special from the hand? WAAY too easy of a condition. But if it ends up being a vanilla besides that, it might not be that unbalanced...
Maeriberii Haan
yay for rank 8 plays if that so.
evilfusion
I can also see it having an effect that, when SSed, it destroys all your other monsters and gains 500 ATK for each destroyed.
Azuh
Itll probably SS itself when a monster you control is destroyed by your opponent and sent to your Graveyard
werewolfjedi
Itll probably SS itself when a monster you control is destroyed by your opponent and sent to your Graveyard kind of like how the mechlords are? yeah that could totally work, and just apply a small ATK boosting effect and something that lets it respond to spells and traps by lance-ing itself through discard. (AKA, it would lose it's ATK buff for the turn you make it immune to spells and traps, meaning it would be much easier to run it over with your own beatstick.)
