Wildflame
Looks very retro. Have you tried Augustal? E Hero engine? Some of the newer, better Rank 4 options?
Goose
Of course it's retro. I represent 2008 when at all possible. What are these better rank 4s you speak of?
Wildflame
101 and Exciton Knight are the first ones to pop into my mind. Then there are some other cool stuff like Caingorgorm, 103 and Diamond Crab King, wich aren't obligatory, but nice to have. Oh, and Abyss Dweller. I would also max out my Tenkis and play Tiger King, you can make it pretty easily.
Maeriberii Haan
If you don't feel like completely playing the 2008 way, try Augustal. Because Felgrand's booty is best booty, you can sit on it for a really long while.
Goose
I added one over Retiari and how the fuck does this guy keep posting the worst comments and getting reps for them. He doesn't even know how to yugioh
Maeriberii Haan
Augustal is not a one-off card usually, since at 2 it enables Felgrand, and if you draw 1, it won't even be dead due to you can tag in into the other to make an instant Felgrand. But you can test one if you use it as a beater.
Maeriberii Haan
Also consider a Respite or two. Proving Ground/Tenki should be enough to ensure the card to live most of the time.
