However, only if that moderator's name is manually added to that section, which is a vaguely tedious process with no notable benefits. Many of the previous mods for several sections have retired, and their names were manually removed from those sections (by me) if they were listed there. I suspected some of the moderator permissions for retired mods had lingered as long as their names were listed there, although this hasn't been fully confirmed either way yet. All mods at last check have powers to affect any of the other sections, not just the one they're assigned to, and some sections/subsections don't really have official mod assignments.
