Admiral_Stalfos19
So anyway, I've been playing around with an Empty Jar deck, and this is what I have:

Extra Deck's a bit of a mess, but for obvious reasons I don't actually use it much. But I'm trying to gear it for my spare win condition which will be beatdown, without screwing over my main one which is obvious. As such, I have an Armory Arm, a couple of Gachis and a couple of Utopia Roots; the very latter can become very powerful against other Xyzs. Vampire Dragon is the main searcher of the Deck. True, it requires a sacrifice, but it's a lot more reliable than Giant Rat, specifically because Dark Hole is a card and everyone just outright destroys and all that crap. Also, Vampire Dragon himself can be searched by Goblin Zombie, which is why he's there. As for Cup of Ace, either result is good for Empty Jars in general. The only time you don't want tails is when you have a bad hand, but apart from that, the potential of speeding up the main win condition is appreciated. ... I'm still in the process of deciding what traps to run and what I actually have the room for, but I'm considering trying to make room for Damage Condenser. If I can, then the search engine for Jar will probably be something like this: Damage Condenser --> Goblin Zombie --> Vampire Dragon --> Morphing Jar In case you're wondering, I prefer Jar to be in hand... y'know so I can actually Set it <_< Torrential Tribute might be good here as well, and if I can, I'll add some Marshmallons and Spirit Reapers as well; the latter can be targeted for Allure of Darkness, which is good. So... yeah, that's my deck. I wanna keep at least 1 Vampire Dragon, which in turn means I'll probably have to keep a couple of Goblin Zombies. But apart from that, any changes are fair game. Wildflame
I'd say Deep Diver > Vampire Dragon. Also, not enough drap power. Upstart and maybe Duality could help. And no Taiyou?
Admiral_Stalfos19
I'd say Deep Diver > Vampire Dragon. From what I've experienced, I beg to differ. I find it even worse than Giant Rat; it's equally as unreliable since it has to die in battle, and ultimately slower since all it does is rig draws. If I wanted that at all, I'd use my Chain for once in this deck's life. Also, not enough drap power. Upstart and maybe Duality could help. And no Taiyou? Can't find the room for either of them atm. And I kinda have more important things to try and make room for. Most notably Damage Condenser and Torrential Tribute. Upstart could take priority over the latter I guess, but I'm not too sure... In other news, I'm kinda in the middle of updating the image, 'cause I changed too many cards around for me to keep track of :/

Wildflame
You are running too many cards that don't add to your win condition :/ Or maybe it's just me that it's used to play this as an FTK deck.
Admiral_Stalfos19
OK...? How do you abuse a Flip Effect Monster? Does A/D Changer mean anything to you? You are running too many cards that don't add to your win condition :/ Or maybe it's just me that it's used to play this as an FTK deck. Well I can't exactly FTK with Morphing Jar if I don't draw it in my opening hand now, can I? The extra cards I've added are there in case it fails that OTK/FTK/w/e, which can happen Anyway, I'm getting distracted :/
