Deadline

Card must be PM'd to me by 48 hours after I accepted the challenge.

Votes deadline is 72 hours after cards are up.

What should be made?

Simple. Level 8 tribute monster. Cannot have effects revolving around summoning.

Card A:

Lunaria, Archangel of the Moon

Fairy-type/DARK/Level 8/2700 ATK/2300 DEF

This card is also treated as a LIGHT monster while on the field, or in your hand or Graveyard. Once per turn: You can target 1 Counter Trap Card in your Graveyard; Set in a vacant Spell or Trap Card Zone on your side of the field. This card cannot attack during the turn you activate this effect.

Tyrant of the Ancient Era

Dinosaur/DARK/Level 8/2800 ATK/1000 DEF

Once per turn, you can tribute 1 face-up card on the field. You cannot summon monsters for the rest of the turn you activated this effect. When this card destroys a monster by battle, banish 2 cards from either player's graveyard and draw 1 card. During each of your End Phase, tribute 1 other monster you control, if able.

Card A is a decent support for decks revolving around counter traps, though it can come off as predictable for using cards straight from the graveyard. It does have a rather unique effect for that matter, however. Card B is a destructive card for Dinosaur decks, with a tendency to stand alone on the field. It can grant a draw on destroying a monster, and can sacrifice another monster in exchange of a normal summon, but I can imagine that effect will be taken advantage of. It's last effect doesn't target itself, which isn't that refreshing. I vote for Card B, because Card A just seems lazy thinking to me. Card B is slightly better in this regard, though not by much.

Card A is pretty interesting in how it can recycle warning or other useful Counter Trap in Counter Fairy Deck, and speaking of that, can be SSed by Valhalla, so yea pretty strong here, but not as broke as Kristya so I think it's fine, now for Card B, new style removal, and it's pretty hilarious to tribute something like Field, the rest of the turn is really nothing since u can just Summon anything u want b4 activate this, the tribute at EP is something that will broke your own field, but since it's not maintenance cost, so u can have only this at EP and tribute nothing

Hmm both cards are somehow legit for a card that can't be pulled out so easily, though I feel like Card A's recycling effect is more useful than Card B's Tributing, so my vote go to Card A

As mentioned by Someone/Aqua, I think of Counter Fairies when I look at Card A. It's recycling effect gives the Deck more opportunities to function. With that said, there are not a lot of viable Counter Traps that I know of that will benefit you greatly from having this. Yes, Fairies have ways of Special Summoning big monsters like this; however, I just don't see this being anymore than a tech.

Card B is a fucking +2 when it attacks. +1 from destroying a monster and another +1 from the draw. Add the fact that you can just banish 2 cards from your opponent's Graveyard, we have a problem on our hands. The End Phase clause is meaningless since you could just have this on the field and the first clause is another +1 for this card. I see no reason for Card B to exist at all.

Vote to Card A.
