ZeRainbowDash
The Poetry Corner doesn't work. Let's face it. Not many people look at it. And also, those who post that want feedback don't get it on the Poetry Corner. All it is is just a list of poetry. No comments really. Definitely no feedback. That's my suggestion. I jsut want to be able to post poems in our own threads. It'll be easier to find, far easier to get feedback, and also, it'll potentially add more activity to the Creative Writing subforum. Thanks, Harp
Tourmaline
Anybody who would eliminate poetry from "creative writing" (precisely a moderator) does not have the knowledge to moderate the section and should either be educated in what the section's name actually means, change the section's name or be replaced by somebody who knows what they're doing. In terms of the actual situation, poetry has never seemed to be so much of a concern, so it could only be restricted because whoever is currently moderating the section did not remember it or they never came up with the obvious idea to change this. Anyway, that's support. I'd like to see one person prove that poetry is not creative.
Aix
There is no such rule. The Poetry Corner is just a place that you can post your poetry, originally so that it could be added to the OP, though the OP is currently inactive. If there is such a rule somewhere that I somehow missed, then you have my permission to go on ahead and ignore it. There has been poetry posted in Creative Writing recently as its own thread (as recent as anything in Creative Writing can get).

I jsut wanted to be able to post outside of the poetry corner. That's the only spot I see poetry. There is no such rule. No, what I'm talking about is that nobody just posts a thread with poetry in it. All I've seen is one that I can recall, and he said he was posting with the permission of an admin. ZeRainbowDash
But there have been people who've posted poetry. I apologise for not knowing that. Up until now I've been under the idea that the Poetry Corner is the only place we could post poetry.
