Discussion : Nobleman of Crossout

Recommended Posts

sheild crush is better' date=' its more direct. say you dont have a nobleman to hand your opponent sets spirit reaper, you attack. face up. nobleman would be a dead draw, buuut sheild crush aint. sure it means treeborn could still come back, but if you run any hint of macro then it wouldnt be a probleam ^_^

please, don't use spirit reaper on this example, a face up reaper can be killed with anything... so shield crush is optional in there... also if you see a face down, you know exactly that is mashmallon, a n00b frog or a flip... nobleman FTW!!

I remember when pros used to NoC their own Flips...

what?

There were quite a few pros who used to use their NoC on their own set card' date=' then SS them on a later turn and rush the field.

rush the field with Old Vindictive Magicians or something?

well sheild crush can destroy any card without an bad after effect and noble man of crossout you have to wait to get a facedown and then take a chance on getting rid of your cards in your deck such as magician of faith ECT.... i make my point :)

Magician of Faith is pro this format. >_>

Face-up Defense Position is rare compared to face-down Defense Position (which is itself rare compared to face-up Attack Position in this format, which is why I wouldn't use Shield Crush or Nobleman). The slight increase in versatility is not worth the lack of removal, especially since many other cards (Lightning Vortex, Smashing Ground, Fissure, and so on) can kill face-up Defense Position but not face-down Defense Position. Obviously, you wouldn't use it in a deck with a lot of Flip Effect monsters, and in an aggressive format like this one, you shouldn't be using either of them, so it's really a moot point.

yes it is listen closely shield crush not only destroys face up but face down also it can destroy (ANY DEF MONSTER) so sorry to tell you this but POINT MADE :D

Did you actually read my post? I know that Shield Crush hits the same targets plus a few extra targets. The problem is that it doesn't remove, and the lack of the removal from game is a huge deficit. With so many other removal cards already covering face-up Defense Position, the increased effect of Nobleman is better than the increased versatility of Shield Crush.

The two serve different purposes, and which one you choose is really a matter of personal preference. Of course, in this aggressive format, the best option is not to use either of them.

i read your post i under stand but listen it's the beauty of the game the removal of the game isnt going to matter when your in a fast track battle pluse you can even add cards to pull off a removel so this is pointless because CHECKMATE

In a "fast track battle", neither Shield Crush nor Nobleman is going to do any good, since everything is in attack position.

I can't figure out what the rest of your post is supposed to be saying; it's too incoherent.

listen it's about stragey when you give off an relentless attack he'll try to retract and then you pull of that card when it puts it in def got it also stop defense is an awesome card too (CHECKMATE) :D

Tell me, do you run Archfiends, or do you just like to randomly say "CHECKMATE" with Caps Lock turned on?

"Relentless attacks" are met with counterattacks, not face-up Defense Position. At least, they are if the opponent is half-decent.
