Zee Rurus
All YCM and Leaderboard rules apply.
- We'll be using the AB system, just like everyone else.
- First to 3 votes, or most votes by the deadline, wins.
- Deadlines are as follows: 24 hours to make the card after acceptance, 72 hours for the voting process to end.
- The voting process begins when both cards are up. All voters must elaborate on their votes.
Loser is expected to give a rep to the winner.
Cards must not carry any evidence of their creators, (i.e. Leave the © space blank or just put Kazuki Takahashi or something.) To ensure anonymity in voting, which you have to do for the AB system to work, please PM the cards to me.
Written cards are allowed, but frowned upon by me personally <_<
 
Zee Kondition
Make a Monster Card that switches to Defense Position after attacking. It doesn't have to follow the typical example since Spear Dragon breaks it to an extent, and it may have an additional effect(s) as well.

Kart A:

When this Tribute Summoned card is destroyed by an opponent's card effect, or by battle, and sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard during your next Standby Phase with its ATK treated as 3000. If this Special Summoned card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step.

 

Kart B:

If you control no monsters: You can Tribute 2 monsters your opponent controls; Special Summon this card (from your hand) to your opponent's side of the field in face-up Defense Position. You cannot Special Summon other monsters the turn you Special Summon this way. Each player can only Special Summon "Jurrac Adzorre" this way once per Duel.
If this card destroys a monster by battle: Its Level becomes the Level or Rank of the destroyed monster. If this card attacks: Switch it to Defense Position after damage calculation. It cannot be targeted by card effects that would change its Battle Position, until the End Phase.

Card A is stupid and flat-out not worth the investment. Use my Normal Summon to bring out some shit that's not worth the trouble until the following standby phase and even then is just completely useless? No thanks.

 

Card B is actually really interesting and incredibly synergic as a card. It serves as Lava Golem but consists a considerably risky play given the very strong nature of the card itself. It works with Rekindling which is a bit scary, but it would require the battle phase to use it for Extra Deck shenanigans and even then it's opponent-reliant. Summoning it in Defense Position makes it really likely to get destroyed by battle, but you can't SS any more so no abuse can happen. Getting it back with Owner's Seal and stuff isn't even worth it immediately.

 

I'm voting for B, as its design is completely worth what it does while not being stupidly broken. Card A is too plain and honestly... it doesn't do anything.
