Glitch
$60 is overpriced for a game in general Actually I think it's pretty hard for gaming companies to keep it at that price, which is why you see more games requiring subscriptions or seperate online passes. Next gen games were almost $70 or $80.
.:Blu:.
You totally should. Look it up at the next steam sale.I just taking a guess, but is the gameplay similar to Torchlight, Diablo, etc. Those kinds of isometric-view games?Honestly, no MMO should be using a subscription model nowadays. It's impossible for them to pull off. Every MMO other than WoW, I can think of, has eventually become F2P. And, man, I really wanted to play the Elder Scrolls Online too but ever since it was announced to use a subscription model, my hype level just went to zero.EDIT:Online passes are becoming extinct as well; as it should be because that is a greedy, f*cking tactic. .:Blu:.
at least WoW just throws all of its expansions in a pack for 20$ every yearBlizzard knows what they're doing. They have to after this many years; it's a given. Plus, they're expansions are always chock-full of content that always seem to draw people back in. You guys heard about Blizzard making a MOBA game? Desu the Blue Nerd
Actually I think it's pretty hard for gaming companies to keep it at that price, which is why you see more games requiring subscriptions or seperate online passes. Next gen games were almost $70 or $80. Nnnnnnoooooo. Not one bit. Guild Wars 2 actually did extremely well with its Buy to Play formula and a good system for micro-transactions. Subscription games on the other hand just can't legitimize a subscription fee anymore so MMOs are moving or have moved to a buy to play and actually even more common a free to play formula since TF2 did it and did amazing. I just taking a guess, but is the gameplay similar to Torchlight, Diablo, etc. Those kinds of isometric-view games? Hell nah. It plays more like XCOM. Honestly, no MMO should be using a subscription model nowadays. It's impossible for them to pull off. Every MMO other than WoW, I can think of, has eventually become F2P. And, man, I really wanted to play the Elder Scrolls Online too but ever since it was announced to use a subscription model, my hype level just went to zero. Even WoW is slowly switching over. They did a week of free and then made it up to level 20 free. I think they recently did something else with that. Elder Scrolls won't likely stay subscription based for long. DC Universe Online only stayed subscription based for a few months. Their free to play model is awful though.

goddamnit names are a pain
Not going into the details....let's just say I have a freaking lot of games. I play about 10-20 of them. Go figure.
Thar
I play about 10-20 of them. Go figure. That's twice as many games as I play on a boring day.
goddamnit names are a pain
That's twice as many games as I play on a boring day. I tend to crash though one game for like 2+ weeks until it bores me. Or, like I am now, I only play handhelds which aren't full of games and I play the same game for hundreds of hours. Like my TF6 Import *shot*
Glitch
I try to play through one game until completion when I have enough time, and when I only have an hour or two I'll play a sports game and just play music and play a game or two of it. Thar
When it comes to playing games, I have the attention span of a senile dog. My most active game-playing days are usually the day I start playing a game I just bought. If it's more than one game, I do a little "taste test" thing and play each game for a little bit at a time. goddamnit names are a pain
I got four games for christmas. Not counting the Wii U games. I've played one. This is how I game. =D
Glitch
I got around 10 games in about one week a few weeks ago. I tried the taste test tactic, but I just felt that I would enjoy the games more if I played them one at a time.
goddamnit names are a pain
Now, I hope we are discussing real games here and not the little tiny crap people try to call "games." You know, $5 or so and lasts like 3 days. Or phone games. Or some "arcade" games. Half these shouldn't be called games.
Glitch
I don't waste my time with those. I only play the best games out there, and these are pretty long games.
goddamnit names are a pain
I hear ignorant people looping all of the gamers under one category and it ticks me off. Anime too. Examples: Classifying COD players as all FPS players. Saying people who play Candy Crush play video games. Anime is all boobs and porn (I agree with this one)
Simping For Hina
I don't get games too often because I take too long to complete them anyways. The most games I have gotten in one buying was 4.
