Welcome to specil edition of Toyo's Wonderful Lederbord Dvnetures! Brought to you by the bscence of the letter A! So yes, for some weird reson I cn't fthom, I decided to go bck to lederbord, even though I know ll the voters re either drunk, high or both. 

 

Rules:

Norml Lederbord rules pply 

First to three voters in 72 hours of crds being submitted wins

Ll voters must hve  non-stupid/pointless rgument to their vote. Filure to do so will result in severely (sexy) punishment.

If nobody hs three votes, the one with t lest one more vote wins

Winner gets rep nd point in the 'bord. 

The letter A shll not be mentioned t ny point.

 

Voting nonymity is not my style, so we'll not be using the Crd X nd Y system. f*** this dumb s*** rule. /inb4wrning

 

Conditions:

Mke level 4 effect monster tht is n upgrde of existing monster.

This card is also treated as a Warrior-type monster. This card is unaffected by the effects of "Hole" Normal Trap Cards. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned, add 1 "Hole" Normal Trap Card from your deck to your hand, then reveal 1 card in your hand. Activate one of the following effects depending on the revealed monster:
-"Traptrix" Monster: Special Summon 1 "Traptrix" monster from your hand.
-"Ninja" Monster: Set 1 "Ninjutsu Art" Continuous Trap card from your graveyard to your side of the field.You cannot summon monsters for the rest of the turn, except Warrior-type monsters.
If the revealed card is neither of the above, shuffle this card back into your deck.

If your opponent Special Summons a Monster with 2000 or more ATK: banish 2 monsters from your graveyard; negate the Effects of the Special Summoned Monster and if you do, Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower non-Tuner monster from your Hand. If you control no Monsters: you can banish this card in your Graveyard plus 1 level 3 or lower non-Tuner monster: Special Summon 1 Dragon-type Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck whose Level equals the total Level of the banished monsters. The effects of that Synchro Monster is negated.

Ocg confusion (the reveal-and-get-the-eff mechanic is imperfect as it is written in the lore), an artwork that would like to suggest an admixture between trix and ninja, which personally i find unreal and unnecessary. It would have been a better card if it was simply a ninja upgrade.  MAinly, the add skill working both on normal and special summon is a lil' broke, and moreover it can recycle the main ninja's card from Graveyard. Even George Bush would manage to find this card obscene and, imo, bad designed. And since you want details, the task was to make an upgrade of an "existing" card; the idea of merging in some way two different cards it's completedly arbitral and trespasses the real task.

Some capitalization errors, however the card is nice, looks like a realistic upgrade of real veiler. The effect is nice and not too broken. Its effect negation on the lvl 5/6/7 special summon from E.Deck, saves this card from being an obscene Rose\Michael spammer, but it can bring out nice a nice fortress like ancient fairy.

OT: Card X has exactly same effect on summon of it's original form, except that this also happen on SS, and the following effect is quite interesting, u can even just add a BTH or another holes to ur hand and shuffle this back if you didn't got any said cards, and if u have, ss the revealed leo to destroy a S/T OR even ss itself to trigger this effect again. yea with this, this card can be abused, with the right hand, u can ss 3 copies of this and an original one to get a MST and ss 4 monsters at the same time, not to mention those holes added, so it's pretty OP there, the other effect is ok I think, and for Card Y, the first effect is pretty situational, though with its 1700 body your opponent will have a hard time deciding to summon a 2k+ monster or leave this card like that and set up a defense, the 2nd effect can get any lv.5 to lv.7 dragon, though with their effect negated that I think it's ok, and since this card didn't have a way to abused like Card X did, so my vote go to Card Y

It's a topic for later discussion~ Though, it should be quite easy, but I just had to make a card based on that art of myrmeleo being a ninja. Not even trying here.

Guize I m confused. It says mke n upgrde of the monster. None of these re upgrades, you both fil.

No seriously. The Veiler upgrade sucks compared to the normal one; the negation is bad, the Summoning effect is hard to meet and helps in no way during the opponent's turn, and the last effect is basically a Black Rose which really isn't needed.

The first one is really just like every other Traptrix.....except with Ninjas. Not an upgrade but a fusion? Seriously guys look up what upgrade is. 

 

Uh....if I had to vote, I would vote for A/X/1/whatever for actually doing something similar and meaningful compared to the original one. Also an interesting tech in Ninjas, apparently. And that Special Summoning effect is good for the archetype, but I could swear they already had all this junk. I also don't like the "mini-Debris with no benefit vibe" coming off of Special Veiler. Cool art, but not Special in anyway.

2 reasons: It's not that weak. I know the negate SS bit is a bit situational and restricted, but its main use was to pull a SYNHCRO OUT OF NOWHERE! kind of thing. Then again, I did make this when it was early 2013, when Yugioh was actually fun. #shotsfired. Optimum use is Synch to Black Rose -> Another Dragon Level 7 for MASSIVE DAMAGE.
