- Mieru being so adamant that Yuzu and Yuya's mum change Yuya's PJs because she didn't like the colour based on its meaning made me go WTF.
- At least it was stated that Mieru was OTK'd in her match. (I don't think Yaiba was OTK'd though)
- The rest of YSDS said that they had been looking for Sora but obviously to no avail because we know that Yuya and Yuzu are the only ones who know that he was sent back to the Fusion Dimension.

hmm, I wonder why the fusion faction are interested in hokuto. Yuzu clone and the other cloaked man were watching his duel, and a synopsis for a future episode suggests that hokuto gets attacked mysteriously. I know he's an xyz user, but he's allegedly not on the level of shun or Yuto. also, the fusion faction are accessing Sora's memories, so there's no way they'd confuse him for someone from the xyz dimension....

on another note, can I just mention how ridiculous it is that the wikia changes the character names as soon as the dub names are announced, even when they're writing about Japanese episodes? The dub hasn't even started yet, and already the name Declan is randomly popping up in episode synopses. Declan doesn't exist yet! he's Reiji! Other characters don't even have their dub names, so Declan is listed alongside Yuzu and the like. Even once the dub does air, I imagine people will still prefer the Japanese names, so why change them at all?

Ok, rant over...

I know what you mean. Almost all pages where Reiji's name suppose to be are changed to Declan. Same with Gongenzaka and Ayu. At first I thought they'll save some time when the dub comes out, but we don't even know their dub last names, so they actually wasted more time, because they'll have to edit the same articles again in the future.
• Mieru made some things about fortune and stuff when she made Yuzu change Yuya's pajamas and other stuff. Also find out she nearly quits her match for Yuya; k.
  • Shun's acting crazy again about Yuto. (For sanity's sake, I'm not going to reference that quote; you all should know what that is)
  • Basically stuff we already knew from raws; Reira beat Tatsuya/Shivers kid with a Synchro, but still dry as hell; manga Ruka laughs at him.
  • Isao was the runner-up last tournament; that would imply he beat the crap out of a lot of other opponents the year prior. And why aren't the lawsuits coming in for injuries?
    • If this were the real world, pretty damn sure Isao would be getting his ass sued like mad (or tournament-wise, disqualified + barred for life).
    • I don't even think that much contact is allowed even in MMA or other contact sports, and that's coming from my mouth, being a martial arts practitioner (and trained to judge tournament matches; it's karate by the way). Off-topic, but you get the comparison.
  • Yuya wants to show Isao his style of entertainment dueling. Hopefully he doesn't get severely beaten up while doing it; though it'll happen.
  • Most of episode was talking about stuff and less on duels.
  • Yuya's in shock figuring out why there are 2 guys who look like him. Oh Yuya, when Yuri gets introduced, your mind will be blown.
Otherwise, a lot of stuff from the RAW discussion carries over here.

so true.

so what the hell is going to be this REVERSE scales thing?

May be either Yuya going into a rampage with his dragons (Odd-Eyes and/or Dark Rebellion), Isao playing with a raging Wyrm/Eastern Dragon deck, or both.
Also, it was heavily implied Isao assaulted Yaiba in order to steal the Action Cards from him, rather than defeating his opponent by physically incapacitating him. Just to make things for those who were confused as to how was he able to win that way.

The epiosde has been uploaded now, click the above link.
- Gongenzaka was able to win his duel by pinpointing where his opponent was without using his eyes.
- Yuya getting distracted by the crowd by waving to them and running into the bamboo certainly entertained the crowd.
- We knew that Yuya would be using Silver Claw from the preview, I figured that he'd be using Beast-Eyes in this episode.
- The equip spell that Kachidoki used in conjunction with his fusion monster's effect must've been how he defeated Yaiba in one turn.
- Using bamboo as a way to stop your opponent from getting Action cards is sneaky, but standing on their arm when they do is low.
- Just like in the Yuto/Yuugo duel, Yuya's eyes went crazy as he summoned DRXD and use it to win the duel in one turn (Karma much?), it certainly shocked the crowd into silence.
• Isao's voice kinda surprised me. I wasn't expecting to be so masculine, but then again, he's in a school where they use physical force to hurt people in duels.
  • Like expected, Isao bullied Yuya and stole all Yuya's action cards, but Yuya managed to get one.
  • Yuya and Yuto's personalities fused together! Then Yuya summoned Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon. IMO, it was awesome, but they made Yuya look too evil and Yuto isn't really evil.
  • Yuya managed to OTK Isao. That's Karma for ya.
  • The after-duel was so silent... This was the first time that Yuya didn't use his "climax catchphrase" to end the duel.
To be fair though, given that Yuya went crazy that turn, it isn't surprising that he didn't use his "climax catchphrase" to end the duel.

Take that Isao! That's what you get when you fight instead of duel! (and yes, I see the irony in that sentence).

That was a badass episode, but it's a shame Isao had another one of those random anime decks that will probably never get printed.

Anyway, Reiji vs Fusion Yuzu (Fuzu? I guess....) next time. Can't really see this ending any other way than an interruption or draw, since the girl just got here, and Reiji seems like he's supposed to keep his gravitas for a while, but it should still be cool to see.
