Hyugo probably isnt one of the bad guys. I did like his dueling but i expected more of the Synchro Summons, they were quite boring and didnt give me the chills.

At this point, i wouldnt be surprised if Yuya gets Clear Wing Synchro Dragon then use the 3 dragons (xyz, pendulum/fusion, synchro) to duel against Reiji in the final episodes. Bcuz he really needs to prove him that he can master all types of summon.

I wonder if it's a coincidence that Speed Roid is a sub-Archetype of the Roids, which uses Fusions, and that Yugo keeps getting called "Pawn of Fusion", or if it's actually something planned out for the future.

Whether it's something planned out for the future or not remains to be seen, but yeah it does sem to be a coincidence.

[spoiler=Thoughts on 37 Subbed]

- Shun was aware that the fusion dimension has a pawn from the Synchro dimension.
- Reiji wasn't sure if the Synchro dimension was their enemy and thus refused to let Shun step in.

- Yugo/Yuugo seemed to get annoyed when people get his name wrong. (That's what happens when your name is similar to the japanese for fusion)
- Yuugo states that he was brought to Standard because of his dragon and Yuto's dragon.
- The professor states that Yuzu is the fourth piece that he is seeking and instructs Yuri to bring her to him. The fourth piece huh? I wonder what the other three pieces are.

could you explain that a bit more?

To simplify (if I can read an Armz correctly), in the GX era, for the plot, a monster can be fabricated that can have its own abilities and can rely on itself for power or with multiple others before using Fusions and such for support. Syrus, Zane, Bastion, Tyrano, and a few others were some examples. In Zexal, everything is blatant Xyz support with no redeeming abilities and cannot standalone. Realisitically if you took that kind of Zexal mechanic here, a bad hand defines a big loss. It's why the monotony of Zexal duels is a big problem of Zexal and why characters like Shun bring back that problem.

[spoiler=37 subs]

  • Professor thinks Yuzu is the missing piece in whatever ambitions he has right now, given whatever he got out of Sora.
  • Yuto and Yugo wanted to kill each other, before Yuya butted in and stopped them (well Yuto anyway).
  • Yugo has the name "Pawn of Fusion"; which I can see why, given the Japanese name for "Fusion" is "yuugou" (minus the long "o" but you get it)
  • After Yuto disappears, he tells Yuya to bring the world together and gives his Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon. I thought that was what that speech was about.
  • Yugo is really a roughneck in this one, but meh. (He still won though)
  • Like I noted earlier, Yugo's D-Wheel was a bit of a disappointment (probably because I'm grading him on 5Ds standards); but Clear Wing was awesome.

All of the this.
I mean, literally EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON. in ZeXal had a deck that made as much sense as these: http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/323368-my-zexal-cards/
They tried to disguise it by giving us various archetypes/etc, but realistically they were all just the same.
Which is why the cards in the OP of that topic are so hilarious, because of how true they are.

GX, however... And as you already stated, you could just Summon a lot of standalone monsters and be fine for however long it was needed to be on the field, etc.

Speaking of GX...
I'm going to laugh my ass off, If the Fusion people want to merge all the dimensions

No, it's not necessary.

He'll probably be back at the end of the season, or in a few episodes, depending on what happens.

Once Shun finds out, he'll definitely be pissed. (On a note about him, hopefully he gets new cards because at this point, he's almost as bland as Kotori/Tetsuo from ZEXAL, and the former dueled ONCE, that's it)

But indeed, if Academia wants to combine everything into one, Yubel already tried that three generations ago and failed with Super Poly.

Indeed, Yugioh has a lot of them; each series has at least 20-30 of them.

America censors it to the Shadow Realm (or other things) because actual dying is too graphic for kids. (Presumably 4Kids or whatever their name is now is censoring Heartland being burnt alive when they get to it [or already did])

(Then again, it's not like other less violent anime have censored the concept [see Pokemon + certain movies], but that's irrelevant to an extent)

Anyway, we don't know what happened to Yuto after losing.

Presumably he's dead or sent back to the Xyz Dimension to recuperate; probably need to wait for later episodes to make a note of it.
