Trebuchet MS
Not certain if this has been discussed in this topic before. Quite a lot of effort trudging through 48 pages of discussion. Point it out if it has though. http://www.ygorganization.com/arc-v-courses-at-leo-duel-school-a-subsidiary-of-leo-corporation-llc/ A closer look at the details of LDS' courses, and some units catch my attention... The Warden
Okay, this automatically gives me A LOT more respect for the anime already, if they hide little gems like those around the place.

~British Soul~
Le RAW: http://www.anime4fun.com/yu-gi-oh-arc-v-episode-15 (At least we don't have to worry about Astro Dude not using spoilers and spoiling what happens this week given that he's banned)
-Dom-
^Thanks. just watched it, and without spoiling anything, I'd advise waiting for the sub. I did not really get what was going on.
-Noel-
Yuzu's bracelet actually flashed and let Dark Duelist escaped at the moment Yuya reached the place, and it happened TWICE. Coincidence!?

I was thinking the same thing when I watched it. I didn't get much of what was going on.
Masumi sure was suspicious of Yuya when he arrived, even though it was established that he was at YSDS when the attack on Marco happened, although I think it's only Himika, Reiji and a few others that know that the attacker had used Xyz monsters. asterr259

My Japanese isn't great, but I agree that Masumi was accusing Yuya of being ASSOCIATED with the Dark Duelist, not being him. I was wondering if Sora knew him or vice virsa, but they currently seem unrelated to each other. Aside from those hardcore parkour/ninja skills. I don't think the Dark Duelist is evil atm, but he is causing the school trouble. It happened not once but twice now; I think it's time to get rid of the bracelet (or atleast lock it up). Also Melodious/Fantasia Fusions confirmed.

~Faytl~
The wiki has info on the Junior Youth Championship. Apparently it IS a matter of win-loss record; You need a 60 percent win rate minumum to get in, and Yuya's has been mentioned twice to be about 50. You also have to have participated in at least 50 official duels in a year and won 4 consecutive official duels. Wonder what Shingo was saying to Yuya. I got the impression it was the usual "I still hate you and I'm totally gonna kick your ass cause I'm your rival and that's what I do" shtick, but he mentioned Pendulums for whatever reason. I look forward to the subs. Also, apparently Duel Disks can be used as lightsabers now. Neat.
The wiki has info on the Junior Youth Championship. ~British Soul~
So... I've just finished watching the episode subbed. (Yeah, just letting you know the subs are out)
We were right in thinking that Masumi was accusing Yuya of being associated with the Dark Duelist as she was demanding where Yuya was hiding him. Even though Yuya was given a free pass to enter the Junior Youth Championship after beating Strong in episode 2 (even one of the middle schoolers thought Yuya should get a free pass after that too), Yuya decided he rather earn his spot the legit way and win 4 more times (his current recored is 46 played 26 won). Nico also revealed that after Strong's lost, the latter went overseas to train from scratch, and is left without a duelist to manage. evilfusion
Very interesting episode.
So the Championship requires 50 matches with at least a 60% win. Yuya needs to win 4 more matches to qualify, but is having trouble finding an opponent because he beat the Champion. Nico Smiley offers him a free pass, but he declines, and instead requests arranging 4 more opponents for him to face. When Sora confronted the Dark Duelist, he asked "you're not from around here" (emphasis on "here"), to which the Duelist replies that Sora also isn't. Going off theories regarding the Dark Duelist possibly being from an alternate world (due to the Yuya resemblence and protecting Yuzu, plus the parallel of Dark Rebellion vs Odd-Eyes), this might indicate Sora is also from another place. Sora also was fascinated that the Dark Duelist allegedly uses Xyz, and we all know how suspicious as hell Sora is. So...it seems that while Sora doesn't KNOW the Dark Duelist personally, they may have similar origins. Also, Sora apparently needs to win 6 matches in a row to also qualify for the Youth Championship since he doesn't have enough matches. Dementuo
I'm getting a big time-travel vibe from the Dark Duelist. Note that the first time he appeared, he stepped in before Yuzu had a chance to duel Sawatari. This time, he stepped in right before Yuzu had a chance to learn anything more about Fusions from Sora. I get the feeling that the Dark Duelist might be some sort of Future Yuya, and the reason he keeps interfering is to keep Yuzu from falling victim to some fate that might have involved her learning to Fusion, or something similar. That is to say, the Dark Duelist is pulling a 5D's and is trying to protect Yuzu from... Well, something bad. I really don't have any idea what Yuzu's plot-device bracelet is supposed to be, though, but it seems to allow the Dark Duelist to hide from Yuya, either by giving him the chance to escape or some other method.

I like what you said there at the end. I was thinking it was think that it just lets him and escape and replaces him with Yuya, but now I'm starting to think that the Dark Duelist and Yuya can't be in the same place at the same time(insert space-time continuum logic here) and that Yuzu has a bigger role than we think. Zimerick-Art
Literally my only question is why and how Yuya knew where Yuzu was at the end there. Sure last time he had the little girl show him the way but this time he really had no way of knowing she was there with Sora.

Sure last time he had the little girl show him the way but this time he really had no way of knowing she was there with Sora. Well you could say that Yuya assumed that Yuzu was going to investigate the scene where she remembered the Dark Duelist first appeared, but even if it wasn't the same place, then I guess it's just dumb-luck and coincidence. I mean, they wouldn't be using those Duel Disk pads being held up to their ears most of the time right?
Jord200
Maybe Yuzu is some kind of http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ApocalypseMaiden If that's the case, the Dark Duelist could be time traveler who is trying to save/stop her. Or..... Maybe the Dark Duelist is Yuya from a different/parallel dimension, where something ultimately happened to Yuzu, and he aims to prevent it from happening to this Yuzu, potentially to fix his own world. If that's the case, Sora could be someone sent to make sure whatever happens to Yuzu, actually happens. Also, I'm hoping this doesn't need spoilers. If it does, sorry. Tell me, and I'll fix it. I don't feel like Sora is around to be intentionally bad to Yuzu, or intentionally bad to anything, it seems. He reeks of suspicion, but I just haven't gotten a "this kid is evil" vibe from him at all. I feel he might have potential to be some form of 3rd party influence, but I don't think he's part of the big bad, whatever the big bad actually is. He seemed genuinely concerned when Yuzu asked him to teach her to Fusion (ie "Is this really okay?"), and he seemed to be a little worried about actually doing it for some reason. At the same time, Sora may be aware, to some degree, of whatever misfortune TDD is trying to stop (if that's what he's trying to stop in the first place) and Sora may also be trying to avoid something like that, whatever it is, from happening too, he may just not know exactly how his actions would impact things.
