Well, Yuya won, but now he's screwed cause Gongenzaka's facing off against Dona Katana. It's official, Yuya's doomed.

You know, you could have the damn decency to wait a couple of days before spoiling what happens in the damn episode, you moron. Some people actually want to watch the episode subbed and understand the dialogue, but nooo, you just have to spoil everything.

Astro, it's fine enough if we just enjoy what we saw in the recent few episodes. We don't need your: "How will Yuya get out of this one"?  phrases; just keep it real and try not to spoil anything else or waste your time on posting that kind of stuff.

But anyways, that was some rigorous fapping I did to that episode. Hokuto did a good job debuting the standard power of Constellars, especially with Sombres and Ptolemys M7, cause I did not see that coming. But that Constellar Spell he has was really random and weird. As expected, Yuya had Stargazer to use its reverse-bounce effect and allowed it to have Yuya literally bounce himself to victory. I guess the common strategy here is that Yuya tries to stall out and damage the opponent primarily, and then do an impressive clutch victory afterward. And I am always entertained by Yuya's clutch victories, especially with the Pendulum Scale replacement and power boost.

So since Yuzu is up next against the Gem-Knight girl, it's good to see Yuzu show her strength again instead of contemplating and stressing the similarities of the Dark Duelist and Yuya. I want to see some good Gem-Knight Turbo action; I'm predicting she'll Fusion some Gem-Knights first hand and use them to get Master Dian afterward. But overall I've never been so hyped for a YGO series.

I would have given Hokuto bonus points for using Star Chart to help maintain hand advantage, but he played Constellars alright for the most part, so I can't complain.

Yes, clearly. Using Stargazer's monster effect as everyone predicted as well as trampolynx to get him in his hand first, using Tiptoad as a Pendulum!

It was surprising that Hokuto had 2 Pleiades instead of 1, and that they were so easily summoned; characters don't usually ever have 2 copies of a monster, or at least an extra deck boss monster.

Sorry about the spoilers. It's just I like to see it in English.

And I'm sorry. But still, how will Yuzu show her strength if she can't focus on the task at hand. Think about it. Yuzu has seen a guy beat Shingo and she thinks it's Yuya. How can she focus on the duel if she's distracted by the recent events. Plus, she beat Yuya out of dumb luck. There have been others with this problem. It's only natural.
Yuzu will lose.
On the here and now, I never used the Constellars, not even in Millenium Duels, but Yuya found a way to win. Remember the duel between Yuma and his number-possessed math teacher, how he constantly took control of Yuya's monsters? This was a flipped version of that duel as Yuya had a card that could've crushed Yuya's chances of victory except it affects all monsters except Xyz monsters because it affects monsters with levels not ranks.

As for my predictions, I've seen almost every episode of YGO to practically know what might happen next provided there's info. Just waiting for the finale of the Zexal series in English dub.

So I don't really have much to say about the episode now that we can talk about it besides loving how Sombre was in the anime. I also always imagined M7 to be a non-Number Xyz with a sealed form, but I guess the writers didn't imagine that. Hokuto was an asshole so he deserved that finish.

As everyone can see, Doha is a Synchro User, although I wonder why Gorgenzaka is gonna decide to duel him if Sora has a higher chance of winning? Maybe Gorgenzaka is hiding something?

Also, Fantasia support next week makes me hopeful.

Never heard of it. Is it like a Haymaker? I bet one of the monsters is Ancient Gear Golem. Oh wait, that's Crowler's signat... wait Rudolf Heitman uses three of these. I bet this guy will have it too, along with other big monsters.

They seem to be an archetype of Samurai-like Machine cards. The ace of the Deck is Benkei, which lets Superheavy monsters attack while in DEF, using their DEF as their ATK stat.

Try going to this site more. It will change your life. There is no way you will compare Crowler/Heitman to Gogenzaka for sure.

Anyways, Superheavy Samurai are monsters that specialize in a pure defense/offense-ish setup. While in Defense Position, their key boss, Ben Kei can have every Superheavy member attack while they're still in Defense Position. Easy to get out and very tough in battle but weak otherwise to destruction effects.

Just saw the episode.
Rather amusing how Toad and Star swapped places, seeing as how Star typically is just a Pendulum enabler, while Toad just does stuff on the field, despite both of them being Pendulum Monsters.
Star-boy's reaction to Yuya playing a card that effects everything with a Level was pretty silly. Mostly, I get the feeling they wanted to emphasize on the fact that you don't always have to make an Extra Deck monster(?), or something like that? I dunno', I just feel like analyzing that part.

Regardless, I like how Swordfish had a lot of screen time to actually do things.
So it's another likable episode.

I still think you're overlooking Yuzu's victory against Yuya waaay too much. Yes, she won that way because Yuya was desperately trying to Pendulum Summon with the wrong scales, and he had Viper Whip in his hand, which he could've used to beat her monsters. But we didn't see what else Yuzu had in her hand at that moment, or what kind of play she would perform had he actually summoned Viper. So the result was not clear at all; but you people talk like she would surely lose no matter what. Seriously, guys?

And even if it didn't win fair and square, it's still a huge step-up from what he had in all previous anime series, where the rarely would a protagonist ever lose a duel (with the exception of Yuma, who was supposed to be a complete joke early on), much less to a girl, what with all blatant sexism present in the franchise since its roots.

That said, I hope if she does lose (her duel could end in a tie for all we know), that doesn't mean she'll become a worse Asuka :/ I pray she gets a chance to defeat Sawatari in a proper duel after having her kill stolen by the Dark Guy ¬_¬.

Anyway, I loved watching an anime character both using cards that were previously exclusive to the OCG/TCG AND playing like a real life duelist would do. If anything, Arc-V seems to be shaping into a awesome homage to all generations of the card game, while, at the same time, introducing new interesting features!

Let's see...
Xyz ace runs Constellars, fitting with his name corresponding to the Big Dipper
Fusion ace runs Gem-Knights, linking with her background of her father being a jeweler.

So which DT archetype would their Synchro ace be running? "Doha Katana" would be associated with Warriors, so perhaps X-Sabers or Gustos would fit the bill of Synchro Summons and Warriors. Unless he's running a Quickdraw Doppelwarrior Deck...
