Yuya counterparts form the Ritual Monster. Unlikely, but I don't know why else they would need to card people, unless they are powering something. Well, some of that is almost definitely propaganda, but still. ...Yuri might use a different Deck? That's...kind of dumb. Predator Plants...support... Dokutah Posted September 10, 2016 Report Share Posted September 10, 2016 regarding Yuri's new deck, back then when AGRD reveal topic on TCG/OCG card discussion i can't help to comment about seeing similarity of the Reactor Piece of the dragon with OEPD chest piece ( a big orb framed with shell with 2 hollow side on it) and theorize that this is the card that gonna be used by Akaba leo to keep up with the Dimensional Dragons of the Yu's he trying to lure out, although to be fair at that time the pic of AGRD is kinda blurred so i could be wrong. but hey its suddenly relevant to plot Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Would it have killed them to just retain Gallagher (it's technically Western enough to use); unless they wanted to make a bad reference to him being blinged out. Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted September 12, 2016 Report Share Posted September 12, 2016 Well, I found it on Dailymotion, but yeah surprised that it wasn't up today (apparently computer issues and stuff) [spoiler=122 thoughts][spoiler=Personal thoughts on Yuya]To be fair, I'm getting rather tired of Yuya's egao antics at this point (or rather that Duel Academia could be swayed that easily by his duel). I haven't forgotten that it's his goal in life; bring smiles via dueling, but I do feel he's gone overboard with it at times (or really, turning the duel into a literal circus). And yes, Yuya would've gotten himself killed multiple times if it weren't for Action Cards or Jack's Trap Card. For this episode, I kinda wish he'd zip it and just duel instead of talking about his beliefs. OK, so Assault Fort goes into Great Fortress, which is pretty neat. (How they'll incorporate it into actual usage, if this ever sees release, remains to be seen for now. Yuya draws a card that lets him summon Level 1 Pendulums from his Extra Deck (well, I guess he needs that to summon any of those cards, since we aren't getting a Scale 0 anytime soon). Or yeah, he topdecked a very specific combo to just win that turn. I guess Battle Beast got reformed, but to be fair, I would've liked to see him remain savage a little while longer. I mean, he was supposedly to be the best student and vicious enough, and while I do believe in character reformation, I do feel that this was a very abrupt change (both for him and the Academia students)Sanders lost as expected, but wasn't carded because Yuya pleaded with him not to (but he got whacked in the face). If Sanders got carded, then no one would really miss him. (I guess he got taken away, but yeah)Jack pretty much did all of the heavy lifting this episode (or the power plays); all Yuya did was use a card that let him Soul Charge his Level 1s and proceed to do things that would require a heavy amount of luck to do in actuality. I guess the Academia could be convinced about dueling (in the way Yuya sees it), but like I mentioned earlier, it took only a few words out of Yuya's mouth and everyone switched over. A few moments prior, they were chanting for someone to get carded. Well, I suppose we do have a short wait before the subs come up [i haven't read the script at the time of posting]. [spoiler=Thoughts on 122 RAW]- Battle Beast went to cardify Sanders, but after some words from Yuya, he didn't in the end and even whacked Yuya in the face.- Sawatari getting splatted with the green paint was amusing.- Yeah Jack did the heavy lifting in this episode, Yuya didn't do much and was lucky Jack stopped the second attack from the Great Fortress.- Even more academia students switched over and one went with Yuya to the next area. There could be a variety of reasons why the series has a bad rap for them (read: the following are potential reasons, and not necessarily fact)Some viewers may not have liked certain characters from previous series being reborn (i.e. ARC-V Jack and Crow), or being brought back for no reason (i.e. Crow got carded recently upon returning).Female lead gets shafted again into the background and otherwise doing nothing of importance. A reminder that Yuzu hasn't dueled since getting creamed by Sergey and she lost big time.Yuya's "egao" speeches becoming annoying and effectively turning duels into literal circuses as opposed to more straight-forward matches. Or the anime lost the essence of being a series like DM.Characters become swayed by Yuya after only one match, as opposed to them requiring some time to warm up.ARC-V airs at an inopportune time for many viewers and/or clashes with other anime that they want to watch at the same time.Too much focus on Yuya and not enough on the other characters who matter (or maybe too many characters), or vice versa.There are probably more reasons and whatever I listed above may not necessarily be true at this time. ----Ah right, the matter with ARC-V 122; if you all haven't watched it, the episode should be up on Dailymotion or somewhere else [think Youtube has it, but split up]. Anime sites STILL haven't gotten it, and new episode should be airing in a few hours. But yeah, Yuzu hasn't gotten a duel in a while (though as things stand at the moment, I don't believe she'll get it); the other three are more/less getting fights in the coming days, which is nice (at least Ruri). But yeah, Yuzu hasn't gotten a duel in a while (though as things stand at the moment, I don't believe she'll get it); the other three are more/less getting fights in the coming days, which is nice (at least Ruri). Then again, we've yet to see Reiji duel once more [and even Reira], among others.[spoiler Yes]Tori and Alexis suffered from Mind control. And who's to say Zuzu won't have that bug. It's been weeks. Maybe she's been infected already. Something like: Leo: Summon Apollo and Diana.Yuri: But I thought you wanted Yuya to rescue his friend.Leo: Yes, but, we can't make it too easy. (This also means subs will be delayed for an indefinite period of time, even if it ends up being from our usual subber).It is a shame there was an issue last week, and since the subs will be delayed for a while, it unfortunately means I'm gonna have to start reading the scripts that mshends posts.
