Such a standard would be dumb for Duel Soldiers, which is what the school was converted into. While the Obelisk Force are the elite mooks, red and yellow were seen many times in flashbacks as the "standard" Duel soldier attacking the Xyz Dimension. So while blue probably is at the top of the heap somehow, red and yellow don't appear to be discriminated against, they just don't have a special elite unit in their name.So they're foot soldiers. Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted April 4, 2016 Report Share Posted April 4, 2016 Yes, Red/Yellow are essentially foot soldiers (come to think of it, they probably have a regular Blue force as well; all of them can't just be Obelisk Force). We don't know what Aster will do yet; maybe he's part of the Resistance (or something) or a spy for Academia. The arc just started, so we don't have answers for that at this time. Yeah, that'd explain Kaito's rage. At least we know that the wormhole sent people to different places with Yuzu in the fusion dimension. (I don't want to know where JMR ended up then) Oh and Yuya is learning more about his missing father, Good!104: Beautiful girl saving Yuzu? That narrows it down to like a handful of peeps. Also Aster having a hatred for Yusho, and by extension Yuya? That'll be interesting to see the reasoning behind this. Also "You Show School" in the fusion dimension? And I'm not surprised in terms of Kaito's family getting carded. Kaito's motivations have always been about the good of his family, and so the only way to ensure he fights at full strength and passion is to have his end goal be about saving or avenging his family. But this actually shoves him into darker territory than Zexal, because he's already lost everything, rather than desperately clinging to hope. Ouch. Yuzu ended up in the Fusion Dimension, but everyone else went to Xyz? Weird. And the new Galaxy-Eyes will be called "Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon"? That sounds...pretty badass. evilfusion Posted April 7, 2016 Report Share Posted April 7, 2016 All Yu-Gi-Oh series tend to have all forms of supernatural death reversible in some way. I don't know how the original in Japanese handled Shadow Games, but even in the dub, with the Shadow Realm being the censored version of death, almost all the victims (outside of the Millennium Arc) were revived. GX had characters die in the other dimensions (no comment on dub butchering that, even though death was still implied), but they all returned afterwards, some with no logical explanation. 5DS had all the souls absorbed by the Earthbound Gods released when the Dark Signer wielding them lost, and with the exception of the Godwin bros, all the Dark Signers themselves survived. And Zexal...uh...what DID happen to the souls that Kaito captured? My hunch is that when Tron defeated Kaito and claimed all his Numbers, he also obtained the captured souls, and he freed those after losing to Yuma, plus he seemed to have WAY too many souls in his possession to have NOT gotten the souls captured by Kaito. And during Zexal II, all Duelists defeated or absorbed by the Barians were revived afterwards, except for Kaito (who physically had died), but even that got undone by the Numeron Code. So yeah. There simply have been too many people turned into cards for it to be genuinely permanent. It's the equivalent of Academia killing them, but it's almost certainly not permanent, and just extremely likely that only the Professor has a method of reversing it, or at least access to the technology to the point where developing a method of undoing it in the future is feasible. Predicting Yuya will get steamrollered though. Hmm, wonder if this means that AU Kaito is much more aggressive than ZEXAL Kaito was (most likely). Then again, he got pissed off after Haruto got hurt. As for the Dark Rebellion thing, I guess it's to show Kaito that he is friendly and has the trust of some members [even if Yuto is currently inside Yuya at present]. Whether or not Kaito believes that remains to be seen. 103: Well, I guess Yuya finally learned why Kaito didn't take kindly to his egao tricks the previous episode. Remember Yuya, you've grown up in a sheltered environment and not had to deal with your hometown getting blown up or whatever else. Or yes, getting relatives carded [most you ever got is a couple of support characters in front of your eyes]. So yeah, I wouldn't blame AU Kaito for being pissed off. He did the same thing back in ZEXAL after his brother got his energy stolen. Also appears that Asuka is using Cyber Angels [retrained probably]; I'd like to say she's not intent on taking over the dimensions, but that remains to be seen also. Then again, she was antagonistic for a small part of Season 2. 104: Aster/Edo has a hatred for Yusho? Can only wonder why; does he not take kindly to the Entertainment Dueling style or some other personal beef with him. Another "You Show Duel School?" Hmm, that'll leave a few questions when we get there. Well, at least we get to see HEROs again [might be a nice change of pace from watching Shadow Mist into Dark Law or whatever]. ---- Predicting Yuya will get steamrollered to hell in these duels.
