He doesn't seem to be playing traditional Academia Gears, using Hound and its higher forms, but still... Burn, fuse, burn, protect, blah blah. Not to mention that Devil's effect is just... stupid, as is Magic Shield. I was kinda hoping for Meklords or something 5Ds-ish after the awesomeness that was Sergey... Sigh. [spoiler=98 thoughts]OK, so the entire city got involved with the duel after Smile World got activated. So yeah, cult of egao now?I was legitimately surprised to see even the Duel Chasers getting in on this.AU version of Lazar and that kid who was friends with Rua; I expected the former since his face is still on their money (but not the other). I forgot his name though. People are shocked at a 10,000 ATK monster (well, 5Ds Jack only went up to 6000 with Scar-Red, so this is a marked improvement); though it got shrunk down A LOT. Jack appears to be satisfied with the match, and Yuya finally understands how to be a good entertainer. (But yeah, he really owes his victory to Nirvana's P-effect)I don't know what the Council was saying, but suppose that Tops/Commons are one now (so...ARC-V equivalent of Yusei uniting Satellite/Neo Domino?)JMR's going full insane at this point (if he hasn't already); watching Reiji kick his ass will be glorious.As much as I would think Yuzu should've kicked him somewhere or at least headbutt him, that's beyond the scope of this anime being about card games (and there probably wasn't much she could've done).Why am I not surprised JMR uses Ancient Gears? Though, all Reiji needs to do is just use removal on said shield and Gear Devil is pretty much open to other stuff. Yuya: -starts to correct him because stupid- Gongenzaka: -hand over mouth-But why would they need to? Unless something extremely unlucky happens,e.g. Yuya draws only Fusion Related cards during a duel and uses them or something. The Resistance could be really paranoid. But sneaking in as Yuri sounds fun, as we may actually learn about that purple enigma. Also, Yuya could be forced to do something he regrets, e.g. Card someone, to keep the disguise in place.
