I would say Neo Galaxy-Eyes, but that already exists for the Rank 8 form. Probably some galaxy pun at the beginning or end of original Photon Dragon (Scarlight Scarlet / Scar-Red [see Nova Dragon]). I was wondering when he'd get another. At this point, some clear cut answers about Yuya's Pendant would also be nice. Seems connected to 4 Dragons/Bracelets/Yu Boys, or so I thought before Enlightenment Paladin and Nirvana. Assuming the Pendent produced them. Now I can't tell when it does anymore. I would think that new Galaxy-Eyes will be able to deal with ALL Special Summoned monsters in some shape or form (given the circumstances at present, it cannot be locked to a particular card type if it's going to be good). But yeah, more Galaxy/Photon stuff is nice (if only because Kaito was cool and his Deck could use a revamping with the power creep since his time). ----Then again, more HEROs off of Phoenix will be great too (whenever they show his AU artwork and more info on when he'll appear). ~British Soul~ Posted March 20, 2016 Report Share Posted March 20, 2016 [spoiler=Thoughts on 97 RAW]- Ofc Yuya would save himself with an Action Card otherwise he'd have ended up like Security who were wiped out in one fell swoop.- Unlike its IRL counterpart, Nirvana treats the synchro as the tuner. Should've paid more attention to the subs for 96.- Was nice to see the Crimson Dragon in the bg when Jack double tuned into Tyrant. Hell even the tuners turned into burning rings like they did in 5Ds.- Sora and Tsukikage have Yuzu after screwing up the system in the security complex which is where Reiji/Reira should be, whilst the other Lancers split up to help suppress the riots. This episode is just pretty darn awesome.Both Yuya summoning Nirvana and Jack summoning Tyrant is just beautiful (that Crimson Dragon and red rings btw).And finally we got to see Yuya placing an ED pendulum in the P.Zone (I still don't get why this never happened with rebellion), plus the way he countered Jack's move to then set two Scales was pretty cool (wherever he took that acrobat magician from).Also the scene where he draws Odd-eyes... sublime (gotta love Yuya's development).I had quite the expectations for the duel and it sure is delivering. ...Also...Jack laughing in the preview. He relies on the new CyDra support, bringing out Nova and Infinity and other possible Cyber Dragon Xyz stuff, defeating Obelisk Force mooks left and right for the majority of the arc. Suddenly, Yuri shows up, and a Battle Royale breaks out with Kaito and Zane/Ryo in the middle of a bunch of OF people, maybe Gongenzaka and Sawatari backing them up, and Yuri joins. Kaito is forced to end his turn, but hands off to Zane/Ryo because he has faith that his friend can clinch it, because triple Nova is on the field. Zane/Ryo willingly walks into a Torrential and suddenly has three copies of Cyber End on the field, and activates Overload Fusion for a Chimeratech just to cement his turn and utterly obliterates Kaito because he just wasn't expecting it. Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted March 21, 2016 Report Share Posted March 21, 2016 [spoiler=97 raw]Well, the episode kind of froze up somewhere between Yuya P-Summoning and the Synchro Summon of Enlightenment Paladin. I don't think that was supposed to happen (might've been internet b/c it was lagging somewhat beforehand, but I don't know)Jack was surprised to see a Tuner-less Synchro Summon (and for two parts of this duel, he actually smiled, but guess because Yuya finally found his personal style and stopped being mini-Yusho #2).Of course, that came with a nice reference to Burning Soul. (I probably would've liked it more if they actually referenced the ability, but at least the Crimson Dragon came back for a while, so that's cool). Chant for Tyrant is pretty similar to Scar-Red Nova's (bar the last part).The writers were making a pseudo-Yusei vs Jack thing here, weren't they (except no Clear Mind + no awesome music; well, this isn't Yusei and SSD) Yuya saved his ass from 8500 damage with an Action Card (and yeah, he was just lucky; otherwise, he would've been royally screwed). The Securities weren't so lucky though (and appears that Battle Royal rules count all opposing players as one). At least we got a look at what the Arrest Corps look like under their armor [i still don't know if they're actually people or humanoid robots]. Oh yeah, and watching the Duel Chasers run off in fear was hilariously funny. JMR losing his sheet at the Security break-ins. At least we'll get to see Nirvana High Paladin's Pendulum effect next episode or something (now that it's a Scale). But yeah, 5 monster summon impressed the audience [not like we're already doing that IRL multiple times]. At the time of the original post, I've not read the script. evilfusion Posted March 21, 2016 Report Share Posted March 21, 2016 I actually had a miniature theory regarding the anime about the other dimension Yu-forms, and the manga is actually giving it a little more credibility now. My theory was that each of the "Yu"s are one aspect of a whole personality. Yuya is the basic personality, but as evidenced from the very beginning, he's not completely a whole person. He flip-flops a lot, or clings to things and sticks to them even when it is unwise to do so. His ideals are somewhat unrealistic and falter in the face of real adversity, because ideals aren't enough to change things. Yuto possibly represents a more serious and straightforward personality, and has surfaced in situations where Yuya is overwhelmed by strong emotions, such as rage and anger. Yuto from war experience would have plenty of such things, but when Yuya first went red-eyed and Summoned Dark Rebellion, his overall mannerisms were stoic and unfeeling, and his tactics very direct, unlike his usual self. Yugo I'm not fully decided on how he might fit. He's pretty laidback and boisterous, but comfortable as himself. Yuya lacks this bit. He originally always kept a facade of silliness up prior to obtaining Pendulums. Yuri, however, I suspect is more like Yuya's evil counterpart. He's somewhat sadistic, and his entertainment comes at the expense of other people. Manga is suggesting a little that Yuri lacks sympathy that might otherwise make Yuya falter. Yuri seems like the type to prioritize the mission objective over feelings. Unrestrained, such an approach is dangerous and cold.
