Maeriberii Haan
The one thing I want more than anything is for Roger to explain why he has that chessboard and constantly moves the pieces around with no real purpose or thought. It annoys me more than it should but it only makes him seem stupid and more annoying than anything else. He does activate King's Gambit using the chessboard. That's something. ~British Soul~
To be fair, activating King's Gambit using said chessboard makes it more special than a normal chessboard if anything.

~British Soul~
[spoiler=Reaction to 82 Summary]Cancel the duel? Flash Flyer - Sakura
[spoiler=Reaction to 82 summary]Hmm, I would think that Shun would want to press Crow until their match ends, but this is unexpected.Suppose Shun gets the answer he wanted to find out in this duel; Crow isn't from the Academia. Though I'll assume that Crow won't want to stop, since he's still under the impression that Yuya betrayed them in the recent episode, and needs to win. (Or given the last part, maybe Academia starts to invade, but doubting it right now) Guess we'll have to see what happens next week for a better idea. evilfusion
That's...interesting. At the same time, it makes sense. [spoiler=82 Spoily]Crow probably shows enough of a iron will to endure that Shun identifies him as a worthy ally. During the Battle Royale in Standard, Shun criticized his opponents as being unworthy to be Lancers, and it's been a recurring theme that Shun finds most opponents to be lacking the necessary will. Crow probably WOULD be one of the few that could demonstrate otherwise, since he grew up as a Common. And the whole point of coming to Synchro was to find allies. I seem to recall Shun commenting that none of the Underground Duelists were worthwhile, either (don't fully remember). And the one who was strong was Dennis, who he immediately suspected and confirmed as an Academia agent. It'd also give Shun some character development in the sense that he shouldn't just mindlessly eradicate everything and keep priorities in check. Lizardonx
[spoiler=allies] They came to this dimension to find allies to fight against the fusion dimension, but so far no one from this dimension other than Jack and Yugo has ever beaten anyone who uses fusion summoning (And Yugo beating OF was the entire reason why they're here). Now that Shinji got put on a bus I have no idea where they can find any new allies unless they actually plan on making a 5Ds cameo a lancer
Jord200
I would hope Shinii DOESN'T become a Lancer. I hope Chojiro does. I could see them MAYBE making Crow or Jack a Lancer. Other than them, there's not really many options, since Yugo is likely going to be absorbed by Yuya.
~British Soul~
I don't see them making Chojiro a Lancer though for reasons evilfusion mentioned; Shun deeming none of the Underground duelists worthy.Crow/Jack does seem likely though. Shinji probably won't, especially if he continues to maintain the attitude that Yuya worked for the Tops + remains saltier than the TCG section at times over his loss.(Yeah, I have to say it because given the episode, makes sense.) Crow and Jack are more likely to become Lancers.(Now where's our Yusei cameo?) But yeah, if Shun deems Crow an ally, at least he learns not to blindly destroy everything that gets in his way.Presumably Crow calms down during this match. Dramatic Crossroad
[spoiler=Lancers]Would the King abandon his own dimension and the City? I'm thinking more like taking initiative to protect it and kick some Obelisk Force butt instead :DCrow is free though, i wouldn't be happy to see his gingery smug again, i cannot cope with how bad they made his deck in comparison to old times... Also, Shinji is still an eyesore for me, aside the fact he's being a sorepuss, keep flaunting your revolution bees elsewhere, you purple Yusei-wanna-bee bee. If he had a deck like the one Team Taiyou had in 5Ds... now that's what commons card should be, not a special tailored deck with boss cards. How about JMR or 227 becoming Lancers? They do share a common enemy, and with the whole coup-d-etat i think they'd be in a rush to find a new dimension to dwell. [spoiler=side note]I'm curious on who's in the Academia dungeon? That seems like someone from their dimension, the red jacket and all, but why would they resort to imprisoning their own? Could be far fetched but a Jaden counter part in Academia could make sense, we have Crow and Jack, and there might be a Zexal counter part in the Xyz dimension somewhere. Though it could just be a academia member who holds no importance to later plot and just went out of line.
goodfusion
Why does everyone hate Shinji so much and seem to like JMR? JMR is a pretty nasty guy- he purposely pretended to be friends or whatever with Yuya to get Shinji angry and humiliate him in front of the entire audience. I could understand if you disliked Shinji's character, as it is basically just ANGER, but it at least makes some sense: During the duel, he was trying to rile up the commons in the audience to start a revolution. Trying to get them as angry and hateful as possible so they really want to overthrow the tops.

Other than them, there's not really many options, since Yugo is likely going to be absorbed by Yuya. Actually, I think Yugo is going to stay a separate being from Yuya. Think about the first time we saw Berserker Yuya against Kachidoki. Yuya and Yuto OVERLAID in the animation to make Berserker YuyaYuya and Yugo SYNCHRONIZED during Yugo's duel.I think the only other Yu to be eaten is Yuya eating Yuri... FUSING with him. I'm calling it right now, Yugo becomes a completely separate Lancer.

Trying to get them as angry and hateful as possible so they really want to overthrow the tops. Antagonists tend to be entertaining to watch. JMR was bland until he officially was revealed, at which point he displayed significantly more chemistry and emotion than just sitting at a chess board and moving pieces around while making cryptically smug statements. We know his motives and goals to some extent, and now we're watching him display his manipulativeness, his ability to adapt to situations, and how he's enacting his plans. All while he's showing more insight into his emotions and weaknesses. He's scared of Yuri and Academia showing up and ruining his plans, and is aware of the fact he's running out of time. Shinji was bland from the beginning. And then all he's been about since the tournament started was how much he HATES the Tops and wants the Commons to have an all-out violent rebellion against society. He's passionate, but it's the BAD kind of passionate. It's the type of passionate that is annoying to watch because what they're passionate about is even worse than the current state of things, and some of us have already expressed displeasure at the state of things in the Synchro Dimension. Shinji is passionate about a (presumably) violent rebellion against the Tops. We don't sympathize with his motives or his methods. Yuya at least is NAIVE. Shinji knows damn well that his goals are destructive and is counting on strength of numbers backing it up. The fact Shinji lost and was a TERRIBLE sport about it just was the nail in the coffin. No other character in the tournament was this "salty" about losing, even after they knew what happened to losers. Sawatari was frustrated, but he still was mostly respectful about it. Even Dennis took the loss well...all things considering. Shinji flips his sheet and accuses Yuya of being involved in a shady deal with JMR to rig his matches. Yes, Yuya's situation is a little questionable, but Shinji just started screaming accusations at Yuya. The protagonists are only interesting if they have interesting antagonists. Up to this point, JMR as an antagonist was...inconsequential. But he's showing more to his character and charisma than before, making him more likeable and entertaining to watch. Of course, I still subscribe to the "psycho Sora is awesome" camp, so take that with a grain of Shinji. *shot*
Flash Flyer - Sakura
As Black mentioned, Shinji is basically a saltier version of Shun, especially when he threw a rather large tantrum after he lost to Yuya. That, and he jumped to conclusions when Roger appeared and applauded Yuya, thinking there existed shady dealings between them. Out of fairness, I didn't initially hate him until now, but because he was salty about his loss (I'll keep the TCG comparisons out this time), that caused me to not like him as much. If he at least took the loss gracefully, maybe I wouldn't hate him. (Still, I hate that quiz kid more than Shinji though)

Flash Flyer - Sakura
[spoiler=Stuff]82I'm not really surprised that Crow ignores Shun's request to end the duel, especially when he has that false notion that Yuya backstabbed him from this episode. If only Crow knew the truth, but given mentality, suppose that he won't understand; even though I think he has more common sense than Shinji (or not as willing to resort to aggressive tactics). (This should be a good episode to watch on my coming of age day) So more BW Synchros and RR Xyz. Crow, please get better stuff (some of your stuff against Gongenzaka was really crappy). 83Supposedly Security finds Yuzu anyway, and Sora comes in to save them.Going to assume the Security loses. 84Yugo falls victim to the Dimensional Counterpart thing (come on Yugo, haven't you learned from that encounter with Ryouzanpaku and Yuzu telling you about this?).As for the highway thing, either Obelisk Force finally invades or Sergey reappears and is knocking people out. ~British Soul~
[spoiler=Reaction to the Summaries]82: "Phantom Synchro" eh? I'm guessing that means Crow will probs Synchro from the Grave then, and we know BWs did that in the past with Vayu. Am I surprised Crow would ignore Shun's suggestion? Not really.83: I figured it'd be a matter of time before Security caught up with Yuzu and the kids given where they are in 81. I'm guessing Sora will try to defeat Security, but fail to save Yuzu given the summary of 84.84: JMR's plans unfolding eh? Yeah, he most likely has Yuzu in his grasp then. Banana falling for the dimensional counterpart thing really doesn't surprise me tbh. As for what would be happening on the highway? Probs the Obelisk Force appearing then.
