[spoiler=77 things]

Seriously like 77 episodes into the 5th series based around this game and people still react to weak monsters in attack mode with "OH MY GAWD WHAT A TERRIBLE MOVE THIS GUY IS USELESS I'M GOING TO WIN RIGHT NOW". It's gone beyond the point where anyone could give any credibility to the notion that someone is going to do that for no reason with absolutely no plan, and the way Melissa Claire in particular still didn't get what was going on even when a couple came back for a third time was just too much.

Also I really think Sergey just became my favourite character. Yes the attempted murder was unfortunate but apart from that his absolute insanity and pain-loving antics and fairly ridiculous strategy was so much more interesting and entertaining than anyone else has been recently. And whoever does the voice acting for him needs a hefty and immediate pay rise.

Dub is going to end up making no sense with all the censorship there'll be particularly on this episode. Could realistically end about 4 minutes long if they even bother to do it at all.

That's assuming the dub ever gets to it in time (or they may very well skip it, albeit leaving a continuity error as they do).

But definitely will need to be toned down if released, otherwise we'll have a lot of jabroniy parents complaining about how violent it is (or references to torture devices).

We know Crash Town in 5Ds had to be censored quite a bit, since it involved a lot of Western scenes (i.e. gun pointed at someone's head, presence of said weapons).

Then again, I think most of us could care less about the dubs (there's an exception in AD), so whatever they do in English isn't much concern.

Didn't they try to kill-off Aki during her driving license exam? And once again during the ride over Bifrost? Yu-Gi-Oh! is so cruel and physically agressive towards female characters...

Wasn't Team Catastrophe, but yeah a few guys did try to drop a bunch of pipes on her during her exam.

Same with her riding Bifrost up to the Ark Cradle, though that was attributed to her D-Wheel/Runner not being up to date with the others + lacking sufficient speed.

Then again, you can probably argue that Aporia was cruel to Ruka as well (see 5Ds 141 - 143 and the heart devices).

We'll see if ARC-V gives us that, and probably Fusion / more Xyz ones also in the future.

Then again, a lot of us have already started making Synchro Pendulums on our own anyway.

Would love to see and entice an argument with the so called "old school players" of dueling network over this topic xd

Some people already don't like Pendulums, so safe to assume that they won't appreciate having Extra Deck monsters that can recur themselves.

Then again, since Synchro/Fusion Pendulums will have Levels, there should be no need for any complicated rulings like Odd-Eyes Rebellion does (Xyz), unless Konami decides to be silly.

The only thing odd-eyes rebellion does is give me evil ideas and uses regarding soul shave force.

But we already have Number C101 and Stardust dragon.

Well I defo don't see him beating Jack. RDAS Will eat the Thorn Prisoners for breakfast with its eff.

Its a shame that the absolutely amazing manga versions of jack's dragon wont be available in arc-v,

Wanted to see Jack go abyss , belial and king calamity against someone , that would have been brutal.

You're really quoting the posts solely to correct the mistakes.

Not necessarily (though the space before the comma does irritate me).

Also I'd love to see Sergey win the whole thing with the exact same strategy in all 4 duels and nobody catches onto it. Highly unlikely but possible.

That would be hilarious quite frankly.

Accel Synchro Summoning King on opponent's turn is basically a great move, not that rewarding, but still a cool move to pull off (1 dead turn aint bad).

In theory it is a cool move to pull off, but depending on the matchup, one dead turn can cost you the game.

Honestly, I don't see Sergey and Yuya dueling. I predict the matchups to go something like this:

Yuya vs Shinji - Yuya wins

Crow vs Shun - Crow wins (because otherwise what purpose does Crow serve in a narrative sense if he doesn't win here)

Yugo vs Serna - Yugo wins

Then after that YUGO fights Sergey, while Yuya fights Crow as Yuya is the only one with an established relationship to Crow at this point. Yugo cares a lot about Yuzu as well, so either of them facing him makes sense. I then predict it'll be Yuya vv Yugo (like everybody else has).

Question: Did we ever get a definition for what exactly "Pawn of Fusion" ended up being?

(I mean, the word "pawn" seems awfully ironic considering JMR, his background, and his hobby despite Yuto being the one who coined the phrase.)

^

Also, I dunno. For some reason I don't expect Yuya to face Yugo in the tourney, but I can't think of a better time for them to face-off. Question being, do they have to?

They don't necessarily have to.

I do suspect that Yuya and Yugo will have a round or two against Yuri for certain, since he's obviously bad.

Yuto and Yugo had one early on though.

(Not going to respond to that other guy who quoted my post about Synchro/Fusion Pendulums, since I don't think he got the point behind it)
