Dramatic Crossroad Posted September 17, 2015 Report Share Posted September 17, 2015 [spoiler=thoughts on 74 & 75 and onward] First of all, loving the fact that Shun gets yet another 2 episode duel to crush a fusionee (or however people from that dimension are called).(This also leaves an opportunity for new cards to pop-up in Breakers of Shadow, since no RRs are revealed so far.) Would have enjoyed to see Dennis play along for a bit more, he's not completely shallow and the writers have managed to make him likeable and entertaining, even goofy at times. Anyway, it's not for me to decide, plus i'm curious if we'll see a darker side, like Sora ended up being a sadistic lil' shiz. Was surprised that Sergei did stuff,... i was thinking he's just a brute that crushed his opponents physically makes them crash, like Bommer or used some of that shenanigans with Hidden Knight Hook (5Ds). Yet again if i recall right it was mentioned of him controlling some monsters (when they were destroyed though) so he does play the card game, apparently and is not just a zombie on a bike. Appears as though Synchro has not yet been invaded, because they have their roots deep in security and maybe consider it in relative control. They did say he'd get a new monster, but I expected it to be a Performage monster or something. ---- Shun has a new Rank-Up that somehow made a Rank 3 shoot up to 6, though waiting on Wikia to update. ----Otherwise, the plot twist was expected, but at the same time, not so. And while I think it's ridiculously stupid for him to be running and evidently requiring Hound Dog in his Deck, running the Fusions is less-so. I assume Chaos Giant needs all those Materials? Hmm...not sure what to think about that. And next preview shows that Sora is watching the match. So maybe it's Sora meeting up with Dennis, and not Yuri? Where do I begin- First of all, I thought the "Special/Shite" opening was only gonna be shown in Episode 73. Thank funk there's going to be a new opening come Episode 76- It was clear that Dennis had a godly hand (by anime standards) seeing as he had a potential damage output of 15,500.- Shun got new toys that we'll most likely see in Wing Raiders. I'm sure we'll see a new Extra Deck card of his in the next episode as well. - One of those toys being a card that allows you to see your opponent's hand when the targeted monster dies. Ofc Dennis would try his best to defend Trapeze Magician from dying, but ultimately he couldn't stop that from happening with Revolution Falcon's effect to attack all monsters. (and he would get an action card to reduce the damage to 0)- Whilst the plot twist was expected, I didn't expect Dennis to summon a new Ancient Gear fusion; that Shun recognised ravaging Heartland. Though in retrospect, I can see why they went down that route, so Konami can put the Performage stuffs in Wing Raiders.- I remember the previews for 76 talking about a certain "teenage boy" appearing before Dennis. [spoiler=Response]If Dennis had set it, then he wouldn't be able to use Ancient Gear Chaos Fusion's effect. Remember, he doesn’t want to lose to a Xyz Scum; he would rather get exposed than to lose to those ‘weak’ Xyz users. That's’ how foolish he is.
