Flash Flyer - Sakura
[spoiler=chapter 2 spoiler] Sawatari is using a monster called Angmar the Demon Monarch, Yuto is still using Dark Rebellion in the manga I doubt this will end up in that Monarch Structure, but we'll see. Also the artists for the 4th ending are pretty young; half of them are younger than me. Though, I'll be interested in seeing how they look/sound like in a few weeks.(New opening/ending) ----Watching the sub right now (late, but I've been busy with stuff). Will edit post with thoughts in a bit. [spoiler=73 thoughts (sub)]Well, I think Yuya finally understands why his style fails, and it's pretty much what a few of us have said thus far.He has yet to prove himself, and when he does blossom, he can show the City that the Lancers aren't a joke; people will listen afterwards. Although the new booster did mention him getting a Synchro, so we can probably expect it when he fights Jack.Hmm, this should be fun. As for Roger, something was fishy about him and certainly was proven now, How Sergey managed to defeat Damon, we don't know, but probably in some off-screen OTK that apparently dealt enough real damage to put someone in the hospital. Although, Damon was just filler, so... Also, no threats from Sawatari regarding his dad.Has he finally realized that he can't do anything in Synchro? ~British Soul~
I doubt this will end up in that Monarch Structure, but we'll see.Yeah, it'll most likely end up in a future Premium Pack. EDIT: Will also watch subs later this evening (and post my thoughts on it as well), been busier than I thought.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
We don't know what it does; all we know is that it's another Level 6 Monarch with 24/10 stats + qualifies for whatever support Monarchs currently have. But Sawatari uses it (then again, he did use Mobius against Yuto if I remember correctly). Maeriberii Haan
[spoiler=Yuzu's next opponent] Yuzu will be Dueling Sergey in the second match of the third day.She has the new Fusion Monster, Gensou Hanakasei Bloom Prima (Bloom Prima the Melodious Choir) meanwhile Sergey uses Thorn deck. RIP Yuzu. So yeah, that seems like it's going to happen.
~British Soul~
[spoiler=Reaction to above comment]Whelp, RIP Yuzu indeed, though I'm surprised she's the one going up against Sergey tbh. (I suppose Yuzu vs Serena was the equivalent to an Astro-level shitty fantasy) Although Sergey's cards look interesting/sinister.
Atypical-Abbie
Are those Thorn monsters based on torture devices? If so, that's a bit funked up for a children's cartoon and card game.

Maeriberii Haan
And in 5Ds, iirc in the fortune cup there's other torture based cards. And yeah, Marik's stuff is outright hardcore torture devices that shouldn't have anything to do in any media related to children. [spoiler=Sooo...]Yuzu's melodious are going to get whipped. hard. let's just hope Sergei doesn't actually direct attack her.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Remember some of Yami Marik's stuff from the DM anime/manga? Those were based on torture devices as well.Manga Marik had Byser Shock / Viser Des.Former is presumably based on the electric chair, which we all know is used for capital punishment. Viser Des, indefinitely torture. Not sure on the anime ones; those were more like shackles (Holding Arms/Legs).Suppose they edited that out because torture devices are a no-no on kids shows. -----Second one of Sergey's monsters looks like Nightmare Wheel, so there's that, I guess.Main Decks are called "Thorn Prisoner" (assuming I can read the furigana in the image, despite the size). Synchro is Observer [spoiler=stuff]If Yuzu is fighting Sergey, yeah things are probably going to get intense. All she can do is hope she doesn't get creamed like Damon. Jord200
Are those Thorn monsters based on torture devices? If so, that's a bit f***ed up for a children's cartoon and card game. It would appear so.....

Yami Marik also used straight-up bondage. And remember, the monsters being shows are being used in the anime, so they may not have monsters in them on relese. ~British Soul~
Finally got around to watch le subs [spoiler=Thoughts on 73 Subbed]- Thanks Gallagher, you confirmed what we all assumed a while back, JMR being from another dimension (Specifically Fusion), and he brought tech that they didn't have in Synchro after rising to the ranks of head of Security. Tokomatsu even confirmed that this tech (RSV) didn't exist when he was arrested.- Speaking of arresting, (should've mentioned this in my RAW thoughts) it appeared that the guys who helped arrest Sergey used Goyo Guardian. Then there is the matter of crushing 30 people in the facility which resulted in him being sent underground where he crushed a further 50 people at which point Gallagher, who is in cahoots with JMR handed him over to the latter. It explained how he was able to escape when Shun and Dennis were arrested seeing as JMR let him know when there was a crackdown in the Underground arena giving him the opportunity to bugger off.- I think Sawatari is starting to realise that his father can't do jack sheet in Synchro as shockingly he didn't say a thing about him as he was sent underground.- Even the underground is a competitive society and to earn freedom, you have to keep winning? That doesn't surprise me at all.- I do like what they done with Tsukikage and Reira in this episode. Tsukikage truly believing in the mission and just isn't in it for honour or Reiji's sake. As for Reira, I like how he developed in this episode, speaking up for himself and making Yuya realise that as-is he hasn't accomplished anything, thus no one listened to him, thus Reira wants Yuya to keep fighting and defeat Jack. - One thing I found amusing was when Tsukikage told Yuya that it's impossible for the former to thank Reira since Reira is currently in the assembly hall and Tsukikage should be underground. - Also I remember spoilers some time back about the fusion dimension attacking Synchro at some point. With JMR coming from fusion, I reckon that he'll have a part to play in the attack. If you remember, he went to see Serena in the facility because he was interested in her fusion summoning tactics, so from that, he could've told the Professor (in secret) where she was which would have a reason to invade the Synchro dimension. ~Faytl~
[spoiler=Sergey's stuff and round 2 of the tournament]I'm betting his monsters, as they are themed on torture devices, require him to have low Life Points to be effective. Would certainly explain why Damon was thrashing him with no trouble and then got utterly wrecked at the last minute. Wether that's true or not, I'm predicting he defeats Yuzu. So with that matchup decided, what other matchups will we see? We still don't know who will win in Shun v Dennis, though I'm predicting Dennis will win. My predictions for the second round are:Yuya vs Crow, Yuya winsDennis vs Serena, Dennis winsSergey vs Yuzu (duh), Sergey winsShinji vs Yugo, Yugo wins Then in the 3rd round it'll be Yuya vs Denis with Yuya winning, Yugo beating Sergey, then the Yus will fight each other. Or we could have the Yus fight each other in round 3 and have Dennis take Sergey out, all leading up to Yuya vs Dennis. I'm curious how the matchups will play out, I must admit.
