Pshh. You guys all love Ocarina. Wind Waker > Ocarina. Don't get me wrong' date=' I don't HATE Ocarina. Ocarina was a great game, but Wind Waker was better. Wind Waker included all new items, sailing, new enemies, and Link ACTUALLY HAD AN EXPRESSION!! He smiled, laughed, cried, got scared, go angry, etc. Wind Waker rules.

Well, Ocarina IS known as the best video game ever. I mean, that's gotta count for something.

Wind Waker is better? Uhm... not according to me...

I dunno which the items are, but don't all the Zelda games have their new items anyways? About the sailing, I've heard from friends and some online comics that it's tedious as hell after a while. All the games have new enemies as well. About expressions, that's an advance in technology, as it was barely possible in older consoles.

When OoT was released, it was a huge innovation over it's past games. Jumping from a 2D perspective to a 3D one is something that has barely worked, although Mario 64 and, of course, Zelda OoT succeeded at it. People loved it because it was so well done, so fluent and so new compared to what the previous games made us get used to. While original, Majora's Mask did not get as much praise as OoT, although it was still one of the fans' favorite. It just offered less innovation than the previous game.

And with these improvements, people thought that Zelda games could get better with better consoles, and when the GameCube was announced, many people jumped to the conclusion that the following Zelda game would be awesome. But there's one single thing that discouraged many people from considering it at a time: The graphics. Seriously. I thought it was a f*cking joke. From the NEs to the N64, graphics were always trying to get better, and while the GC's capacity allowed better graphics, some people thought they were poorly used. At least most people I've talked to, even if they say that the game is awesome. But it gave the game a more childish perspective rather than the thrill of adventure. It's like comparing New Super Mario Bros with one of those Yoshi Island games.

And games like those are the reason of why Nintendo keeps his childish reputation :D *Xbox 360 forevah*
