So this build probably isn't the most amazing, but I find its just as consistent as Hieratic Rank 6's, mainly because it's half and half.  I use alot of synchros, mainly just in case, as well as for rank 8 material.  The main combo relies on eset and blue eyes for the rank 8's, but the synchros work well.  The only side deck I could think of was Dragonic Tactics, because of the fact that you get tributes as well as getting to bring blue eyes out.

the main OTK for the rank 8 I've found:

1. Eset

2. Special summon by tribute nebthet/Su (ability use to special Labradorite or Wattail)

3. Special by tribute Su (use ability to special Blue Eyes)

4. Overlay Su and Labradorite/Wattail for Atum.

5. Use Su to search for Red M D, Special Red MD.

6. Special Eset using Red M D's effect

7.  target Blue Eyes with Eset's effect, both are now level 8.

8.  Special Tachyon using Eset and Blue Eyes.

9.  Overlay Gaia Charger onto ATum.

10. Enter Battle Phase and use Tachyon's effect (Tachyon reverts all to original ATK)

11. Win.

You can also special Tefnuit, then sac to normal eset instead of steps 1 and 2.

With this build, your normal Rank 6 OTK's are possible, as well as some very interesting combos.  This deck allows the versatility of rank 8 with the raw power and ridiculous abilities of rank 8's.  Another great combo is the use of Dragard to special Labradorite from the grave, instantly giving you Trident Dragion.  Both Trident and Star Eater are EASILY summoned in this build, and Dragard's tribute ability can give you more versatility in the rank 8 summoning.

First full build, what do ya'll think?  Also, I don't want more draw power.  I prefer to have defenses as to avoid a complete spam of the field for my opponent.

10. Win.

Wrong.

Atum's lack of attack isn't an effect, it's a condition. Atum cannot attack even if he's negated.

Ah. In that case, Gaia Charger overlay.  I'll fix that.

In fact, you should run Atum in 2-3s, since you have 2 Atums.
I mean, it's easy as hell to go from 1 Atum into another, and Gaia not only gives you more ATK and piercing damage, but uses your used Atums and gives you more things to attack with.
