I've currently got 1200 gold saved up for GvG, but now that I think about it I haven't really been actively saving up. I just haven't been playing too often outside of clearing out my dailies every few days. My recent arena runs have all been 7+ wins so it's just been steadily going up.

 

EDIT: Picked Fel Reaver in my current Arena run, and as I expected it's a fine card. The downside hurts a bit, but 8/8 for 5 is just too much value to ignore. I often times find my opponent try to fatigue me (btw, his effect doesn't cause fatigue damage if you're out of cards, since his effect mills) only to find themselves quickly out of cards of their own (in the hand).

 

Enhance-o Mechano is also fun, though when you play it on a board of Boulderfist Ogre and Toshley then of course it's gonna be good.

 

MOAR EDIT: The goodness continues. Oh Fel Reaver, I love how you make the opponent make terrible decisions.

Apparently I got a really good draft with Priest for my first arena run.

 

I did it blind cause I had no idea how arena worked, and when I showed Lily and Black, they both said that it was really good. Surprised me. I drafted it before GvG was added to arena, so none of those cards are in the deck sadly.

 

I just wanted to post it here cause I wanna keep a written log of it once my Arena Draft is over once I do it, I don't wanna forget I had some good luck. xD

Super good draft. If you had a few more 3s, like a Dark Cultist or two, you'd be so sorted.

I've not had a lot of good luck with arena recently. With the GvG cards, I'm running into absolutely absurd interactions. Someone even made a Kezan Mystic relevant against me. That and the fact I'm bad at Arena, of course.

Yeah that deck is pretty nuts. PM me when you start, I'll spectate and assist you (if you want.)

 

On EU I've gone 7+ almost every game thus far, on NA I've been having the worst luck drafting nothing but shit the last 5 or so games.

I don't understand how I went 7-3, this Priest draft is awful, at least I thought so. The curve was not appealing at all.

I think part of it is I've had a few people just try to rush me down and ignore my board, which is about the stupidest thing you could do against a Priest. Maybe I'm finally just good at Arena, I had a way worse Paladin draft before this and managed a 6-3.

tbh that looks like a pretty great curve. Yea 3 drops area little low but if you can put something out t2 to hold out until t4, that's usually the big turn that matters, and you have a lot of t4 threats. In fact all of your 4 mana cards are solid minions (Violet Teacher being the only combo-reliant 4 drop you have)

I didn't like my early game. Not enough 2 drops you'd want to put down on their own with only 3 (4 against non-weapon classes with Ooze, though Loot Hoarder becomes a bad 2 drop against classes that can deal 1 damage with their hero power), and no 3 drops to just play as 3 drops without losing out on a battlecry. 2 of my losses were from simply drawing all my 4+ drops (a third of the deck costing 4 mana is not good, solid cards or not) in my opening hand and by the time I got to play them it was too late to stabilize.

 

If the people that tried to rush me down and ignore my board had played a little smarter, it could've easily been about 3-3.
