I haven't done much testing with it, but the deck seems really consistent and powerful from what I've done.  And it's surprisingly flexible, cuz Hootake + Desertapir is so good omg.

Thunder Unicorn is in there cuz I find myself often needing a Beast-Type Level 5, and the effect really isn't that bad.  I might actually end up cutting Librarian or maybe even Ragin due to lack of utility on both their parts.

Also, I tried Leviair in here, and it's subpar, cuz the stuff you tend to banish (namely tapir) is mediocre on its own.  If I find myself ever wanting it, I'll try to find space.

Update 1: Took out Tantan, added in a 3rd Gelato, cuz I like searching Gelato a LOT more than I hate drawing into it (it isn't even that bad of a draw if you have Redox or Mew).

I also changed the ED up a bit.  I took out the 2nd Sandayu cuz I rarely even need 1, the Angineer because f*** Black Zenmaines is a good card, the rank 4s cuz I NEVER make them unless it's Tiaramisu, the Librarian cuz it doesn't do anything in this deck, and Armory Arm cuz I'm testing Balmung.

In their place, I put aforementioned Zenmaines and Balmung, Scrap Drag cuz it's the best level 8 on its own, BRD cuz it's REALLY good this format, and Leviathan Dragon cuz I often find myself needing big beaters.

Suggestions?

While I don't run the full Madolche stuff, I'd only run 1 desertapir. It sucks enough to draw 1, and drawing two is just the end. You just want the one for foolish/obedience. By the way you should be running foolish, and redox seems bad.

I'll cut the tapir for foolish definitely cuz drawing it is awful, and Redox has tested pretty well so far.  If it turns out to be dead too often I'll cut it.

Thanks for the comment ^-^

Also cut Zenmaines for Angineer. Better overall in the deck.

Eeeeeeeh maybe. I really like Zenmaines as both a wall and a defensive pivot, and Angineer is kinda a one-trick fairy.
Also, I'm considering cutting Balmung for another Unicore so that my 2nd school isn't necessarily dead.

How on earth is it a one trick pony when it's more versatile than Zenmaines and more likely to survive longer?

This is an offensive deck. With Kushano. If you leave Kushano on Zenmaines, any intelligent opponent will laugh at you and use your lack of options to stock up until they can just explode all over you

In addition, you're supposed to be protecting Unicore/Black Rose/Alucard/Leviair/etc. with angineer.

Also why the fuck did you cut Leviair? You can get Unicore back with it, which is reason enough to run it over bad cards like Levi dragon.

And yes you should double Unicore here.
