Lunar Origins
Tribute 1 monster you control: Inflict 1000 damage to both players. During the End Phase of the turn this card was activated, if you did not Special Summon this turn: Special Summon as many monsters with the same name as the tributed monster's original name from your hand or Deck (ignoring Summoning conditions). You can pay 2000 Life Points: These monsters are treated as being properly Tribute Summoned. They cannot be used as a cost OR used as a Synchro Material/Xyz Material for a Synchro/Xyz Summon. When a monster Special Summoned by this card's effect is destroyed: Tribute 1 monster on your side of the field. If you cannot: Discard 1 card. licorso
If this card is ran in 3 in Hieratic decks......oh my god. so first off lets see what it can do. 1st. When the monster is tributed to inflict the damage, its most likely gonna be a Hieratic monster. so say they tribute Hieratic Dragon of Su. they tribute that, they get a free vanilla monster. then during the End Phase, they get 2 more Su. Next turn, hoping the monsters haven't been destroyed yest, they can somehow destroy it while they have say a Nebthet on the field, they tribute the Nebthet getting the vanilla monster. then they can Xyz with the 2 remaining Su into an Atum then whatever Vanillas they had. then they use Atums ability for a REDMD. they use REDMD effect to summon a level 8 monster from grave. then they use Gaia Charger on Atum then they go into like 2 more XYZ from whatever else they had then go for an OTK. alright so ive gotten the feeling that this card was made as indirect Hieratic support. i think that the summoning the monsters with the same attack is too much. i would change it to summoning them with 0 ATK and DEF, so theyre easier to destroy and you cant tribute like a blue-eyes and then go for an OTK next turn or a cazy XYZ play next turn, assuming the Blue-eyes were still on the field. so all in all i love the card. I would run 2 in my Hieratic deck. 2 would kinda be overkill and possibly a dead draw in some cases. if this card were real, i think that it could bump Hieratics up to Tier 2. so great card. Lunar Origins
Whoops, did not want this helping Hieratics. Updated.
licorso
Well even after your change, since it says tribute, Hieratics can still get their effects from it and go for crazy OTK's. I would change it to saying send to the graveyard so Hieratics cant go for crazy plays with it.
Lunar Origins
Also, any monster summoned by this can't be tributed for its own effect/used as an xyz/tribute, by the way.
Lonk
This card is ridiculously stupid. So, you're saying that I can tribute my Caius during my opponent's End Phase to Summon 2 more Caiuses and banish 2 of my opponent's cards? Not only that, but I could also go into an instant Rank 6?! I'm sorry, but making it a quick-play breaks it on so many levels that it's not even funny.

Mugendramon
You can't go into a rank 6, but yes. Materials aren't costs. The way it's worded, he can. Also obligatory: TCG name would be Self-Tribute.
Lonk
You can't go into a rank 6, but yes. You'd want to change it from "Cost" to "Cannot be used for x" since that is the proper term. While I'm not as afraid of it as before, the fact that it's a +2 in Monarch Decks just for playing this makes it a bit absurd.
