Aix
What are some of the really powerful vampires in fiction and pop culture besides Edward Cullen? Strongest out of all of them? My opinion would have to be, of course, that Edward Cullen as mentioned above Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade (otherwise known as Oshino Shinobu) during her prime is the most powerful. And then there's Alucard from Hellsing who's pretty scary.
宇佐見 蓮子@C94
Rachel Alucard of Blazblue. An Omnipotent Observer who controls lightning and possesses an artifact of absolute defense. And then you get to the Scarlet sisters, Remilia and Flandre. Remi manipulates fate, has none of the weaknesses vampires has, regeneration, immortality, has the Gungnir as well. Flandre has all of these, but replace fate manipulation with- I don't know, the Ability to Destroy Anything and Everything. Not too scary right? Oh, right. She's got a BFS called Laevateinn or something.
Maeriberii Haan
Dio Brando is also a strong contender, as time itself is his bitch, and would've be able to stop it as long as he please if he didn't get defeated in story. Otherwise, Rachel Alucard, Hellsing's Alucard, and Flandre Scarlet for reasons already stated.
Aix
Hm, reading up Remi, her fate manipulation is really unclear. Well, I suppose I'll list Kiss-Shot's abilities. Extreme physical strength, enough to go from Antarctica to Japan with a single jump and creating craters on both ends. Immortality, can easily regenerate even after three-quarters of her body are gone and still jump from Japan to Antarctica after immediately regenerating to escape. Ability to create things out of nothing, for example creating a castle out of nowhere because she needs a place to stay. Ability to devour magical energy, to the point where she can eat any fully magical creature like other apparitions. Ability to resurrect any human as long as she can feed on their blood from a part of their body (doesn't matter if the rest of their body is intact or even gone). The full extent of her abilities are unknown, to the point where she has abilities she hasn't even used in her 500 year life time, for example, she could successfully travel back in time even though she had never tried it before and even after she lost her powers (though this was done by gathering some of the magical energy that had naturally accumulated in the area while she was in her full form). Maeriberii Haan
Well, many of the Touhou casts have poorly-defined powers, Remi included. There's several sides in the debate of the nature of her power, but the biggest one is whether the ability is conscious, or unconsciously controlled by her. And Shinobu's ability sounds like a combo-platter menu. Though not in a bad way. Though, anyone know about the abilities of vampires from Castlevania? From what I can gather (Gather being watching a few videos by AVGN and Game Theorists) Dracula can make lightning, walk on walls, semi-immortality, can turn into 2 or sometimes 3 forms, is A MONSTER THAT DON'T BELONG IN THIS WORLD, turn into mist, controls satan, the grim reaper and motorcycle-riding skeletons. Not that any of those prevent him from getting his head chopped off every few hundred years.
Premier Alexander Romanov
Alucard from Hellsing. That is all.
Aix
Alucard from Hellsing. That is all. You seem to imply that he is the strongest. Which he is not, and we have already mentioned him here.
Mugendramon
You seem to imply that he is the strongest. Which he is not, and we have already mentioned him here. Oh but he might just be. Survived most conventional ways of vampire killing, went as far as taking on a sword-wielding priest with his guns. Basically gets stronger the harder you fight him, and his clear limitations have never really been shown. The whole shadow dogs and shit.
Aix
clear limitations have never really been shown. Hm, seems to be true for all of the vampires mentioned here lol
Mugendramon
Fair enough. And yet we haven't actually mentioned the STRONGEST.
Cin
I wouldn't nominate any of the vamps from what I've watched/read (Manga/Anime) about to be honest as alot of them were tied too much to humanity although I suppose I prefer the traditional vampire to be honest, a step up from Revenants. Akabara Strauss although he had the ability of immunity to the sun, able to fly to the moon (which is where he buried his human lover and child), regenerative and flying abilities he felt more or a calm leader than a destroyer. Adelheid although a pure blood vampire and murdered more or less all the Vampires in the manga in her fear of Strauss killing her (because she though he'd blame her for Strauss' Lover's murder), she lacked her half-sister's strategic abilities. (I can't count her half-sister Bridget because she's a DHampire) Kuran Kaname outclassed everyone in his series, due to age. He did allow some of the rebelious pure bloods to cause havoc for too long, although in his ultimate sacrifice he did ensure the Vampire Hunters could continue to use their weapons to slay Vampires. I felt sometimes he wasn't in full control of the situation. Cain/Shido from Nightwalker weren't really even worth a minor consideration. Caliban from the Changeling series of books, would probably be worth a nomination, using sorcery and zombies to try and dominate both his realm and the human world, although he was ultimate killed by a Werewolf (well the sun killed him, but the Werewolf had killed the sorcerer keeping it out) after being injured in a fight with his brother who had denounced much of his vampire self. (Such as feeding off humans) I would tend to go for strength in terms of knowledge and strategy rather than just pure strength.
Aix
But if the strength difference is too great, strategy cannot overcome it.
Cin
No point in being really strong if you're not going to use it properly though or in a controlled manner. Adelheid when she was out of controlled in 5 days killed 10,000 Humans, Vampires and DHampires leaving her husband's Strauss' Kingdom in Ruins. He'd surrendered himself to be executed after most losing his will after his lover and their unborn daughter were killed. Adelheid had failed to get him angry at her (even though she'd not done the act, but knew it was Stella's adopted mother who killed them), and the Elders were in the act of killing Strauss when she lost it. Later though when it's controlled she terraformed a good portion of the Moon at the cost of her own life (she'd killed the Aliens threatening to take over Earth with Strauss before hand) to allow the Kingdom of the Night to be reborn in safety. So basically with control, the power became greater I suppose.
goddamnit names are a pain
>uses limited knowledge Chick from Rosario+Vampire *Shot* But she CAN get pretty dang strong.
Shradow
The only really strong vampires I'm really familiar with are Alucard, Moka, and Tsukune (and I only say the latter two because I think they've finally reached their final forms now) from Rosario + Vampire, but I'm not sure how they'd fare against anyone else. Currently, the Rosario + Vampire manga seems to be nearing the end of the battle with Alucard, who will obviously lose because good guys, but it did take them hoards upon hoards of pretty much every character with a name that's shown up in the series, so I imagine he'd seem much stronger if he were in a 1v1. Aix
Off-topic, but is Rosario+Vampire good?
Shradow
The manga is quite awesome with lots of action and cool character development and stuff, while the anime is merely a terrible, albeit entertaining, harem comedy. Granted, the manga starts off more comedic, but it definitely matures, and even from the beginning wasn't as bad as the anime.

Mugendramon
No. It's really not. It's so f***ing cheesy. Completely predictable and all of this so-called development has been half assed almost completely, bar Mizore.
Maeriberii Haan
I found it hillarious tbh that compared to the western made ones, vampires in japanese medias are generally far more overpowered in design.

Japan likes their overpowered bishounen and bishoujo. Vampires are by definition bishies, so they need the coolness factor that comes with it. Cocodomoco
If you have ever seen true blood. Eric Northman, Macklyn Warlow, and Lilith are some of the most powerful. I agree that Alucard is pretty powerful.
