Merci
I didn't think it was important to tell you guys of YCM before, but on a whim, I'll tell you now. About two years ago in 2012, I posted a thread, begging you all to read it. Here it is: the thread about my best friend having supposedly committed murder FOUR. FRIKIN. TIMES. And getting away with it. First off, I assure you that my reaction at the time was very real and very justified. Not a publicity stunt. Why the hell would I care about something like that anyway? But now that it's been two years and I'm not suffering from irrational fear of the girl herself anymore, I've had plenty of time to think it over and look over my chat history as well as the diary entries. For those who want to know, my mother did report the case with my evidence. During that time, nothing happened to the girl, but she did tell me that she was annoyed since her father had unexpectedly told her to stay with him for a week. Not too long after I decided to just tell her that I'd gotten tired of being her friend, she was cool with that since she'd lost interest in me, and we went our separate ways mutually. And this was how the Indonesian police responded to the case: obviously, they laughed at the possibility of a TEENAGE GIRL being a QUADRUPLE MURDERER but they investigated it as well as the girl anyway, since it's about murder. They contacted the school, looked into her records, investigated the dates described in her diary... Well, no murders were reported on those days (or if they were, then they were already solved), however, the answer they got from her parents and school was interesting. Her psychological report is, well, messed up. She's seriously messed up in the head, and their conclusion was "Compulsive Lying Disorder". Don't get me wrong, she's not innocent, or desperate for attention or anything like that. Not at all. Many of the things she's told me are probably true, and I'd say that it's typical messed-up teenage behavior: underage drinking, smoking, having a fake license, going to bars and clubs and sleeping with men far older than her, etc., etc. I've hung out with her a few times, and looked into her bag, I've seen her friends once, and on BBM the broadcasted messages I got sometimes really went into detail about hanging out that an ordinary teenager wouldn't know about, so I can testify to most of these things. Also, one time when I told her I was feeling suicidal, she was seriously trying to talk me into doing a suicide attack on her house, arriving with a gun and killing her father only before killing myself, detailing out a plan - so she does have the capacity for murder at least. But she's not a murderer. She might still become one in the future, but at present, she's just an rebellious, cocky teenager with very, very serious issues. She probably has gone through a shitload of hurt and abuse, and not just from her father. I'm starting to think that the journal she gave me was written on the spot, or if not, then a fictional roleplay diary or something like that. She did tell me once that she kept another diary, but she wrote into that one on the spot with her emotions and said that it didn't reflect herself, at all. I probably should've asked for that one instead. It's way too late for that now. ...I could still be wrong. Maybe when the police checked the dates, they didn't think to check the dates AROUND them, as the diary entries might not have been written on the spot. Maybe, while the psychological report about compulsive lying is true, everything she told me about the murders was also true and it's only an extension of her twisted mentality. I don't know. I may never know since we don't talk anymore. And if anything's for certain, she's definitely a threat, either to others or to herself. She's been suicidal many times in the past, and her closest friend died about eight months before I met her. Evidence is there on Facebook history. But if you were to look at it from a logical perspective, then compulsive lying the only answer to the whole murder thing, isn't it? I have no choice but to believe it is. I do still miss her company from time to time, so as long as I believe that she's just crazy, then I don't have to feel guilty. My life has always been messed up, but this is definitely the weirdest chapter of it. I'm glad that I was able to resolve it in such a way without any wacky quadruple murders jumping in. . . . And that's that. Feel free to either discuss this case, or compulsive lying in general. After writing all that, I'm a little tired right now, and I still have a roleplay to manage, work to complete, novel to write, etc... Oh well. Cocodomoco
Right now I go to John Jay college of criminal justice which is the best criminal justice school in the country. It graduates make up a lot of the NYPD(New York City Police Department) probably the most respected police force in the country. Even though i am transferring next yeah, as of now i am majoring in forensic psychology so I do have a decent amount of knowledge in this field. So first of all Compulsive Lying Disorder is not actually a disorder as specified by DSM 5 (DSM 5 stands for Diagnostic and Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders. 5 is the fifth edition. What this is, is basically a manual put out with all the mental disorders. IT is updated every few years and changed.). So it does not really specify compulsive lying as a specific disorder however it is usually a symptom of something larger like say narcissistic personality disorder. Now compulsive lying could be a symptom of many many disorders. So i just read everything you wrote in the first post. First of all she would not be convicted of quadruple homicide. They were all separate occasions so it would just be 4 counts of homicide. 3 could have been manslaughter or could have been ruled as self defense. However i don't believe she committed a single murder. I don't know how good the Indonesian police force is... But i don't believe they are that incompetent. Especially with a female killer. Now hear me out before you get angry about the female killer statement. Because males and females brains work differently obviously. When it comes to female killers for the most part they are non confrontational. If a female kills someone in a confrontational way than it is usually because they are feeling unsafe themselves. Like a women whos husband say rapes her and she stabs him to death with something sharp near her. Thats more a heat of the moment killing and can be categorized as self defense up to a certain point. BUT for the most part when females have some sort of planned killing it is through the use of poison or they will kill someone in their sleep. For the most part also females don't do something like cut up and hide the body and they are usually easily caught. This is not because these killers are stupid its just for the msot part female killers seem to want to be caught much more. To me it sounds like your friend has some sort of mental problem. IT does not sound like she has the propensity to be a killer. No matter how serious you think she sounds. For example she said when you told her about your thoughts of suicide she told you to come over, kill her dad, and then take your own life. Does she think your would actually do that? If she was once your best friend she probably knows you well enough to know that you would not do that. Saying sick things and acting them out are two totally different animals. For example: Someone kills someone you care about. The killer is found dead a week later. You don't feel bad that that person is dead, in fact you may be happy he/she is dead for whatever reason they died. That does not mean you committed the crime or did the killing. Maybe even someone you knew died and you walked in and found them dead. You decided to leave and go party and not call the police. You didn't care at all. Sure youre an asshole but that does not mean you committed a crime. Now im not a professional this is just my knowledge so far. I cant really make a "Diagnosis" but if you want to PM me or post more information about her here we could try to talk about some disorders she could possibly have... however i really really don't think she is a killer. goddamnit names are a pain
Would it be off topic to discuss teenage women? I mean, compulsive lying goes hand in hand with it. On Topic: This crud was fun to read. Glad that your friend wasn't a murderer. I kinda assumed she was lying from the start, but yeah murder isn't something to chance with.
