Because TCG Holds A Deck's Value Based On Its Price Tag And Not Its Merits [RL Dark Worlds] (Jan 2014)

But isn't Dragged Down also a double-edged sword?
You have no choice in what card gets discarded, so your opponent could avoid your Grapha and go for your Beiige. You all don't seem to understand!
This is a REAL-LIFE Deck!
I DON'T HAVE MONEY I CAN BLOW WHENEVER I WANT!!!
I CANNOT AFFORD $50 WORTH OF CARDS!!!
Is it really that hard to understand?!?

then you normal summon beiige

and we are allowed to give you advice

and im already giving you super budget advice

and as i said its only about 30$ more

I decided to look up prices on Upstart and Dragged Down on the site I usually use.

Holy hell. Those are too expensive for my taste. They're like $3 apiece. For commons! I wouldn't want to spend $10 for a playset of commons that only one Deck can use effectively. And they're sold out on Upstarts except the ones that are $5 apiece.

I might have some copies in my collection. I'll check when I get home.
However, the original point of this topic was not for you all to comment saying what I have interpreted as "This deck is not optimized, therefore, it is wrong, and must be corrected, because only optimized decks are good".
You all keep ignoring that this deck, while not optimized, did well in a tournament.
I think it's good because it tends to do well when I am dueling my friends IRL.
In fact, they dislike it because it's too competitive for a casual tourney.
I just wanted you all to judge it based on its merits, on what this little deck has actually achieved, and not the fact that it's a non-optimized budget deck.
Hence the title.

All of which I can understand. My comments were all focused on the fact you seemed a mixture of confused and frustrated as to why people were saying certain cards were terrible over their recommended alternatives. Considering the history you have with people taking for granted that you want a more in-depth explanation, I decided to elaborate.

Thank you.
I was confused and frustrated as to why I was being swamped with suggestions to change it.
It's clear I don't understand this game, despite my love for it.
I don't know why I even bothered with this.

That's because tournaments, aka locals in your case, are not a good example on how good your version of a deck is. It all boils down to the meta in your locals. Some locals have bad players, some have good, some have the mixture of both, and so on.
