Changed title for attention, master trolle

I agree with Catman's sentiments totally. V1 looks a bit underprocessed; colours seem too contrasted with each other, with little atmosphere. V2 goes to another extreme. There's a lot of good detail here, but it risks drowning out the focal with it all. A slightly maximalist approach, so I'd cut down on some of it. Stuff like the splatters and the lightly textured background are good stuff though.

Lots of random elements that don't perfectly coincide

yup yup yup. Definitely what I think has been my issue with tagging in general, I overcompensate when I feel there's too much empty space, and I don't know how to properly solve that.

On another note, Code Bold and Light seem to be pretty...pretty, in some simpler tags. Opinions?

When you have a thin/light font (even bold, pretty much anything that's not really huge and blocky), it's sort of hard to implement in more busy areas, which is why I think it works more in the 2nd as opposed to the first. Plus pink/lighter source color seems more suitable than the black which is apparently red.

  • 2 weeks later...

G-maps are too strong.

Remember to use about 3-4 different G-maps (blue->yellow/orange->purple/maroon->turquoise) for starters.

Blood effects cool, should have capitalized on that rather than adding random pentool strokes.

Keep at it m8, I'm sure you'll be producing quality shit again.
