Requirements:

Do you play a card game other than Yu-gi-oh? Then, try converting one card found in the other cardgame to Yu-gi-oh.

Same image and name if possible, but for the effect, you can go wild in it, just remember to make the effect somewhat resembling the original card.
E0C7Gyt.jpg?1

3 Level 9 monsters.
You can Xyz Summon this card using a face-up Rank 8 monster you control and a level 8 monster in your hand as the Xyz Material (Xyz materials attached to that monster also become attached to this card). If you do, flip up to 2 face-up cards on the field face-down, but you can't Special Summon monsters for the rest of the turn you activated this effect. Once per turn, you can discard 1 monster from your hand and pay 1000 Life Points to flip 1 card on the field into face-down defense position. When a face-down card would be flipped face-up, you can detach 1 Xyz material from this card to destroy it and draw 1 card.

c8bzQIB.jpg

2 Level 8 monsters

When this card attacks an opponent monster, it gains 1000 ATK during that damage calculation only. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this cad to target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy that target.
Welp, 2 CFV cards.

what? y TBD didn't have type? I don't sure it's Thunder or Dragon (I guess it should be the latter), but let's see, in term of balance, Card B is no match for Card A, but for Card A, I think it's a bit too hard to use, I mean, y would I waste Felgrand/Helio to summon the worse version of Maestroke? (since u cannot flip S/T face-down by that card from what it said flip to face-down Defense Position, so it's no different from that Djinn) the last effects sounds neat, but it still cannot negate Ryko's milling, now, about Card B, so u made a walking MST? plus 4k beater, woa that's so much, but after I considered both of them, I think my vote go to Card B, since TC already said you can go wild for their effect, so Hikari's card A (I'm pretty sure with this guess) has too much restrictions and well, too balanced XD, u should read requirements clearly next time, though not bad for a first 1v1 ;)

btw, I've never play CFV, so I can't judge how well they were adapted.

Star Vader analysis

Uses a Rank 8 monster + 1 Level 8 in your hand as an alternate method to summoning it manually with 3 Level 9's and gets to flip two cards face-down in exchange for no SS that turn. Has discard/LP cost effect to change a card into Defense Position (which would obviously only affect monsters) and can detach to stop cards from flipping up, destroys them and gets a draw.

Thunder Break

Gains 1000 ATK when attacking a monster during Damage Step only; can destroy a S/T card on the field each turn (pretty much a double MST on a 3k body). Card is missing its Type, but I'll assume it's Dragon

Anyway, card B gets the vote because of balancing reasons. While yes, it reaches 4k when attacking, but only when it goes against a monster.

Card A (if summoned via its alternate method) gets to flip cards face-down and due to the last effect, can destroy them when they flip up and gets a draw out of it (even if limited). Guess I should note this, but this card is Rank 8 (materials ask for Rank 9) so the alternate summoning (or its regular conditions) don't really make a lot of sense.

At this point, I can kind of tell which card is whose.

...so is it wrong that I immediately wanted to vote for card B since Chaos Breaker is my personal nemesis in CFV? =S

Thing is, CBD has a few things going for it. I like its effect because it's quite original, but what's glaring here is how... strong it is (I'm giving it points for thematic relevance though - not only is it faithful to he original design, but ALSO a decent representation of how absurdly broken CBD was, before dedicated counters). It's not even hard to summon, Photons can produce this very easily, as I'm sure can other decks.

Comparatively TBD is... much simpler, but its also pretty balanced. It's not very original and such, but I can't very well go with CBD here, given how grossly abusable it feels (it seems you can even arbitrarily plus off activated Traps, not to mention counter all Continuous Traps, and I don't even want to think about what kind of stuff it could cause to miss the timing).

Admittedly if it wasn't for the "Also, note that voting must strictly be done on the card's effects, not on how it fulfills the contest's requirement" line, I'd have voted for CBD, simply because of how much of an amusingly accurate port it feels, but as it is I'm gonna have to vote for Card B.

(also why do I keep seeing CFV stuff everywhere in this forum)
