Absolutely. This poll is genius for the mods as well to gain consensus on how the community thinks of them, and you brilliant bastards are some of the best we can have for a sample; one a representation of the new idiot and the other, the representation of a joke member, which YCM has many of.

I, being a law-abiding goody goody two-shoes who would never dream of getting in trouble as it makes me feel like the world is over, have honestly never faced any issues involving the mods' power, though I have seen instances where others were feeling like the mods were out to get them. The OP is likely an example of this. YCM is a place of bullies and ego-high jerkwads, and being a moderator doesn't exactly mean that that person has always been nice and welcoming to everyone, though the mods usually won't do it as much as the non-mods. I honestly don't know how well YCMembers get away with bullying, but sometimes I feel like the mods might be a little too lenient towards the perpetrators of these acts. (Don't get this confused with silly little random acts, though, like taking your avatar for the lolz, that I feel is harmless enough.)

 

I don't really know which option that would fall under.

I've usually ignored you two up til now, but really? I mean really? Since I've come back the team we have now, I have spoken to/interacted with most of the current mod team in various ways in the past, and really they are all to a man/woman a great bunch of people who are fair and oversee things properly, and I think are a fantastic team even though a couple of other great peeps like Cinnabon and Koko stepped down since I was last here. They take no s***, of course they don't, that's part of it. But they are all tolerant and fair, and you'll only have a problem with one if you create one. If they have a problem with you, you should probably look at what you did to start up that problem, because they aren't that irresponsible and immature to abuse their powers. Odd bit of fun with messing with peoples names now and again, but really who cares about that?

I think you're butthurt. Most of the mods here do a phenomenal job of keeping the forum spam free and they are all pretty objective. Every once and a while there is a thing or two i may not agree with but no system is perfect and no person is perfect. I have been a member of this site for about 6 years now and although i have been on and off i have been on here for a very very long time and since then i haven't really seen an abusive mod.

guys i'm not saying mods are bad, in fact i really wanna become a mod, i just feel sorry for my little bro captain U! He has been given 9 warning points and that really angers me! And that's why I kinda don't like mods!

I've been here for a good 2 or 3 years now, at least the forums. All of the mods I've actively seen (Which includes all of our current ones, who are all fairly active) have always only banned, or warned, people who have broken one or more of the rules. Even Black, who can be a bit of a jerk sometimes (No offence) did not once, as far as I know, abuse his power to warn/ban people he didn't like.

At the very least, all of our current mods, as far as I know, wouldn't, and have not, abused their power.

If you care to prove me wrong, then go right ahead. Please, I'm actually curious to see these "Talking about how much better they are" posts/comments you're talking about. Even though, in all likelihood, it's just them being silly...

 

Regardless, mods are given their powers just to keep the forum stable and running well. They're normal members 90% of the time, and you should treat them as such, unless they are talking mod business and whatnot.

Seriously. If you don't like the mod team, this isn't the only YGO forum.

As for your brother Blood he did alot of spamming, which no one on the forum appreciates. I've seen 5 year olds with better behaviour,

 

If anyone has a problem with a member of the moderating team, PM them, don't flame them on the forum.
