Just finished it last night. It's now #2 on my top 3, and Mayuri is #3 on my top 3 female characters. Tuturu~!

When I get a chance, I'll watch the movie.

I just finished it as well, Im more of a Marisu guy though, I plan on watching the movie sometime as well

I like Ruka-*shot*

My favorite character is definitely Okabe, and Hououin Kyouma is on my list of coolest anime names ever.

The movie felt more like an add-on to me, but it was good.

I would've though that if not for the fact
that we get a few answers (and thus closure) to previously unanswered questions, such as why he took up the persona of Hououin Kyouma and when his first kiss was. (I had actually forgotten that little tidbit from the anime until one of my friends who watched the movie with me pointed it out to me afterwards, but when Makise first kisses him in the anime, he says it wasn't his first kiss.)
lol yeah, paradox there though. The movie didn't actually make much sense.

It made perfect sense to me.
Every timeline splits and branches into infinite timelines. Even if you did something in one timeline, it would still be in a whole bunch of timelines. You can't just go back in time and only alter one timeline.

The thing is, she didn't just alter one timeline. Her going back in time and being the original thing that brought about the Hououin Kyouma personality caused it to happen in all the timelines. The timelines as we saw in the anime had already been changed by Makise by then. It's like how in the Artemis Fowl book Time Paradox, how things were only the way they were because he had already gone back in time and changed them, even before we get to that point in the book.
At least, that's how I see it.

Then my previous idea was wrong and that's what happened.
There's probably just something about the Steins;Gate timeline that made it the only one affected. I mean, it was the only timeline where Okabe could save both Mayuri and Makise.
Looks interesting but I'm trying to decide whether to watch the anime or play the visual novel.

Don't know much about visual novels, but I'd say watch the anime and then play the visual novels to discover all the other routes.
