Althemia
EffectWhen this card is Summoned: You can activate 1 of these effects, depending upon how this card was Summoned. You can only use 1 effect of "Destiny HERO Celestial" once per turn, and only once that turn: - Normal Summoned: You can add 1 "HERO" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Destiny HERO Celestial." - Flip Summoned: You can target up to 1 of your banished "HERO" monsters; send it to the Graveyard. - Special Summoned: Target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy it and inflict 500 damage to your opponent.
This card cannot be Special Summoned. When this card declares an attack, you can select 1 Equip Card on the field, and destroy it. When a card is destroyed by this effect, inflict 500 damage to your opponent.
Things that make it more balanced than Stratos:- Cannot activate it off of A Hero Lives.- Is not an Elemental HERO monster, so cannot be used for all of the fusions.- Significantly weaker in ATK.Cool things about this card that make it warrant running:- Destiny HERO engine becomes significantly better, as it can add Destiny HERO Malicious!- Can return banished Malicious to the Graveyard with a Flip Summon!- DARK so you can allure it away!Thoughts, guys? I think I did a pretty good job on this if I say so myself.
Kyng's Old Account
So you've taken Celestial and brought it up to speed, hm? Also it seems my internet took a sh*t while writing this, so do correct me if I am lacking in comments or make errors upon them. I cannot give you much to say in terms of how it works with the archetype, particularly because I myself don't know nor want to know how they work simply because they don't interest me. I'll analyse the card on its value on its own, because I cannot really state much on how well it would synergize with the other members of the archetype. I do like its mechanic, special effects all unique depending on how it has been Summoned. The first clause isn't anything too surprising since you're developing this to be a Stratos counterpart. With you commenting about Statos, I spring to think of, perhaps, Rank 5 Shenanigans? I don't think they're plausible in a Destiny HERO build but then again who needs internet? Anyway, I guess this card might also be able to make more prompts for Vision HERO Fusions with this first effect. The second effect recycles your Maliciousness somewhat which is neat, and also somewhat aids the banishing nature of Miracle Fusion, which is also neat. The third effect is the most flavourful in that it blows up a backrow with 500 in your opponent's face. It is nice, not too shabby, but it is definitely not very flavour-friendly, what with the Anime Card abhorring the Special Summon, while this one using a better variant of the Anime Effect through a Special Summon. It can't be helped, but still... Overall it is a good card, there's no question about that, and I fail to see where upon it can be improved. My only quarrel is how this somewhat spits in the face of the Anime Card rather than pay homage to it. I'd also like to apologize for this lack-luster feedback. If my internet wasn't having a donkey I'd be much more in depth.
the_engineer
You can target up to 1 of your banished "HERO" monsters What does this mean? shouldn't it be "You can target 1 banished "HERO" monster"?
goddamnit names are a pain
Ok, I like this card, but NOT to be played in a HERO deck completely. Makes dead for Fusions a bit easily, so that's the issue with that. But I like the fact that Goblinbergh into this can wipe a card out of back row, burn, and then into Xyz. I think it should be more like Sombre/Kerykeion and be able to use all of its effects if you some how Summon it 3 times. Sounds a bit hard, but rewarding. And takes some cards to do the effects, most of which are OP even when strung together.
Slinky
Absolute Zero still laughs at this. It doesn't give a damn if the HERO is Elemental or not. EDIT: You can only use 1 effect of "Destiny HERO Celestial" once per turn This is redundant. and not needed. Ok, I like this card, but NOT to be played in a HERO deck completely. Sombre specifically states in its text you can only use 1 of the effects each turn. You can't use both.
