Tharon let out a long sigh as the strongest human member of the U.W.A. looked him over and demanded some form of identification.  He was already getting bored with this situation.  Neither of the TheaBrids had responded as violently as he'd wanted them too, and these two humans weren't exactly any fun either.  Rolling his eyes, he reached one of his massive paws into his garment (I have no idea what the thing is called honestly) and removed a U.W.A. badge hung on a long chain around his neck.

"Tharon Kane, U.W.A. Agent number 0536.  If you want the specifics of my arrangement to work with the organization then look up my agent number."  He slipped the badge back inside his garment and turned his back to the whole issue of this.  "Now, since any opportunity for me to find any enjoyment in this situation is gone I'll be leaving."  And with that he set about leaving everything about the current situation behind him.  He could literally not give any less of a damn about those present, but just in case any of them could say differently about him he kept himself at the ready.  In all likelihood he wouldn't be bothered or even have any reason to deal with the rest of those present for the day.  Well, he thought so at least.

"I have had enough of this stalling. Kid, I'm going to ask you one and ONLY one more time. Hands up and come with us quietly."

"Whose stallin'? I'm confused as hell on what is going on!" Aaron said, as he backed a foot back for a moment, before slamming his palms together to create a small, but effective, flashbang as he began to run off. Axel...I-I dunno what's going on! This is getting crazy!!

Alright then. Make this a bit easier for us...head to the Atlas Station. We'll take the first train out of here. Axel said, knowing the group would definitely be on their tails soon.

Aaron simply nodded as he ran off, making his way to the Atlas Station...maybe there, things would HOPEFULLY get better or at least they'll finally stop chasing him. And all this crap...just because he took some stupid Thean's breakfast stuff off his cart. This day could honestly not get any worse for the young TheaBrid.

Tharon was pleasantly surprised to hear the explosion behind him, and turned to see it hoping things had gotten violent...only to be instantly bored as he saw it was just a stun grenade.  Of course, there was another prospect now.  The TheaBrid had taken off running, and the thrill of the chase was something of a favorite of his.  It brought back fond memories.  Thus it was that as soon as he caught sight of the tiger TheaBrid running, he made to pursue.  With little effort he leaped up onto the roof of a nearby building which happened to be rather low to the ground, and set about running after Aaron.

As good a judge of speed as he was, he could tell exactly how quickly he needed to run to gradually gain on his target and so he set about doing so.  It was all just a game to him, but as long as the others weren't joining in the chase he didn't intend to go faster than he already was.

Makuna temperamentally picked at the tight fitting shirt he was wearing. Since leaving the jungle, he had been required to wear more garments than necessary and he had yet to get used to them. In normal circumstances Makuna would just strip off the shirt and call it good, but since getting on the train he had taken note of the fact that there appeared to be more than one security personnel stationed on the speeding vehicle. The last time he had been caught with minimal clothing, Makuna had had to spend an entire night behind the bars of some underrated prison for 'indecent exposure'. He let out a disgruntled sigh and slumped farther down in the seat.

Riding on the vehicle made him uncomfortable, but that wasn't something uncommon for Makuna to feel. Ever since joining the supposed 'modern' world he couldn't help but feel uncomfortable in almost every situation. He had put his brain to the test, constantly trying to understand this new world he found himself in, but there were still things that alluded him. At the top of that list was what the people called 'phones'. The very idea that you could contact someone without a messenger or smoke signals was completely alien to him and he was positive that witch craft was somehow involved. "Definitely not witch craft, I know witchcraft." Makuna's hand flew to the side of his head, placing pressure on his temple as a splitting head ache shot through his brain. "Are you still hung up about this? Hung up that you're a killer!" Following the exclamation, Makuna heard a round of sparatic hissing that he took to be laughter from the evil voice. "Get out of my head." Makuna said, wishing the evil voice out.

"If you say so..." And for a moment, Makuna's head fell silent. He let out a sigh of relief, figuring that he had fought off the demon inside himself. He cast a look around the train and let out a strangled yep when his eyes fell upon an inhabitant that hadn't been there moments before. Sitting in the seat directly in front of him was what he had learned to be called a Thean, but something he would have called a monster or demon. This reptilian Thean gave him a vicious grin, revealing a set of yellow, jagged teeth. Makuna recognized it as the physical form of the evil voice, or Attor. Makuna was attempted to lunge at the creatures, but he knew from experience that it was an intangible apparition that only he could see and hear. "Why don't you just give me your body? I'll stop bugging you..." Attor tempted, giving Makuna a wink.

"GO AWAY!" Makuna bellowed, undoubtedly scaring the passengers closest to him. Attor simply rolled his eyes and disappeared, but Makuna knew better to think that he was really gone. The scaly bastard would torment him again, it was only a matter of time.

Figuring that staying on the train any longer would further upset the passengers and draw attention from the security personnel, Makuna got off the mechanical snake at the next stop. He found himself a midst a swarm of people. Fighting through the crowd he find an empty corner where he could figure out where he was. He read the words 'Atlas Station'. Makuna couldn't believe his luck. He had been aiming for Atlas City since he began his journey, as he heard that if there was someone that could help me that they would be here, and it was only out of dumb luck that he had got off at this stop. "I guess, in a way, you owe me?" "You're right, you've put me one step closer to killing you."

Miyuki sighed the boy woulden't just go with them. He is a good actor...how could he pull off such a confused voice...maybe, no. We need to take him in. She was about to throw the dagger when the boy spoke.

"Whose stallin'? I'm confused as hell on what is going on!" With that said the boy created a small burst of light, causing her head to jerk to the side, avoiding the intial flare.

"Know he is on the run. This should be easy." She noted to Rayleigh. Forming her daggers into the snowflake boomerang, she decided to play along with his chase game. She gave the chase.

Miyuki sent her blade flying to Aaron. Even if he were to dodge it, it would do what she needed most. The blase froze the ground beneath it, and Miyuki started skating twords Aaron, picking up pace.

Rayleigh was surprised to see the gargantuan wolf Thean backup his claims when he reached into his garments and retrieved a U.W.A badge. Just a mere glance and Rayleigh could discern the badge is real. The U.W.A went far out of their way to assure the identification badges are nigh impossible to replicate without their expensive equipment. Rayleigh had hoped Tharon's claim to be false since he detests Theans but, more than that, there is something dangerous about this particular individual. His lack of restraint is one guess. No matter how calm he acted, Rayleigh could see the Thean's actual persona through his stare. It reminded Rayleigh of the incident the took his mother's life. He needed to keep a close eye on this one.

As Tharon began to walk away from the situation, Rayleigh's eyes couldn't help but follow the Thean's every move as if he were anticipating the "wise beast" to show his true colors; giving Rayleigh a reason to put him down. With his attention on Tharon, Rayleigh didn't realize that his suspect had bolted - at least not until Tharon went chasing after him. Hastily turning back around, Rayleigh could see the suspect in the far distance; he had good speed - more than any normal human and, even than, faster than a lot of Theans Rayleigh knew. Miyuki commented that catching the suspect would prove easy. She's correct. If nothing else, Rayleigh is known for his speed and even that is an understatement.

After Miyuki made her move, Rayleigh took off in the direction of the suspect. Instead of displaying his signature speed, he opted for a normal pace - just enough so he could still see the suspect in the distance. Rayleigh wanted to see where the young TheaBrid would lead him first before attempting a capture. If he's lucky, the suspect might believe that he got away and head to the location where the transaction would take place, leading Rayleigh and Miyuki straight to the documents. Meanwhile, several U.W.A agents had already been sent out to track Watcher's movements just in case he was stupid enough to lie to Rayleigh.

Needless OST ~ Chasing Truth

Like a domino effect, once he tried to blind everyone with the light distraction and ran off, they all followed after him (save for Grace). In the order, it was Tharon, Miyuki, and Rayleigh...and they were all trying to catch up to him in a way.

Tharon...his speed was unlike anything Aaron had seen, but his TheaBrid skills were helping him right now, as he was contending with the wolf's speed himself...but that was only part of his problem.

INCOMING!!! Axel said, as he watched Miyuki's blade fly past him, and then freeze the ground. OK...so the girl's ability is ice...aaaaaannnnnd she's ice-skating.

"Can you be impressed with the lady's skills...LATER?!" Aaron asked as he kept running, slipping and sliding here and there, but still kept running. "Look, as soon as we get out of this crazy city we'll be fine. We'll find a different way to live..."

There, finally in their sights: Atlas City Station. Aaron quickly rushed in and blended in with the crowd, as he panted heavily. T-Think we'll be able to lay low for a bit...? Who knows...

However, a few feet away from him...stood the real culprit as he held the documents in a small bag, waiting for his man...hoping that their hand off wasn't compromised.

After a brief chase, the suspect led Rayleigh and Miyuki to the Atlas City Station - a place tightly packed with hundreds of people at any given time of day. Fortunately, the station was a little less packed at the moment but that still didn't help much. If Rayleigh had used a bit more speed he could've caught the suspect before he entered the station but now he had to play a game of find the needle in the haystack. Thankfully, Rayleigh's legendary speed isn't his only talent, he's also known for his incredible eyesight. It's nothing like a Thean in that he could see in different light spectrums or extremely well at night but, rather, his depth of field and field of view are incredibly broad.

Furthermore, he has the capability of picking out specific objects or people from a crowd. Rayleigh walked calmly through the crowd; not wanting to cause a scene and alerting the suspect of his presence. His eyes shifted from left to right rapidly to scan the crowd for the suspect. As he continued scanning, a thought came about in Rayleigh's mind. Why did the suspect came here? He could hide amongst the crowds of people, sure, but that is only a temporary solution to his problem. So either the suspect plans to escape the city completely by train or this is where the transaction will take place. After the documents are sold, even if the suspect is arrested then, the U.W.A wouldn't have enough evidence to pin him to a major crime.

That's when Rayleigh saw him. The suspect was heading towards a train - possibly attempting to sneak on. Now was not the time to contemplate the suspect's reason for leaving the city, now was time for action. Loosening his muscles, Rayleigh exhaled. By now, the suspect could feel a breeze coming up from behind him and, before the suspect could notice anything strange, Rayleigh appeared right in front of him. "Where do you think you're going?" Rayleigh asked rhetorically.

Makuna angrily fought through the crowd. He obviously wasn't accustomed to being around this many people and had no idea how to handle the ocean bodies. Suddenly, the sea of people parted and into Atlas Station came a youthful individual who was running like Hell was on his heels. Makuna narrowly sidestepped, avoiding a collision with the individual. As he passed, Makuna smelt something on him. Something that stuck out amongst most of the people in the station, although there were a few that had a similar scent. You're smelling the Thean in that boy. He's a mangy mutt, like you. Probably a killer...like you! Makuna tried to ignore the evil voice. He refused to believe what it said...at least he refused to believe that the kid was a killer. However, he could tell that the evil voice was correct in saying that the youth was a TheaBrid, there was just something about the way the boy moved that confirmed Attor's hissing.

Moments after the boy charged into the station a dark-haired man accompanied by an icy(literally) woman and a giant wolf beast came in after, obviously in pursuit. Now, Makuna still wasn't up to speed on how law enforcement worked in modern society and he definitely wasn't aware of the fact that the boy that had just rushed in moments before was a suspected of a serious crime, but what he did see was a group of obviously well equipped warriors chasing down what appeared to be a defensively person. Makuna could not let that stand.

Taking advantage of the slight thinning of the crowd, Makuna chased after the dark haired man, finally catching up to him as he confronted the boy, who appeared to be trying to get on one of the train. Without warning, Makuna launched a powerful punch at the dark haired man's face, hoping to incapacitate him before things got out of hand and to avoid endangering the youth. If only he had known how much trouble he would cause by doing such thing...

Tharon stayed on his chosen prey like a wolf on a wounded deer.  After a time, he switched to running on all fours to better keep up with the TheaBrid and slightly ahead of the other pursuers.  Soon, though, many more scents began drifting into his nose and that was when he looked up to see Atlas Station up ahead.  This complicated things, as there were enough Humans, Theans, and TheaBrids in that station to rightly confuse his sense of smell. Noticing that he and the other U.W.A. agents were on hot on Aaron's trail, and unlikely to break off at his suggestion, he enacted a different plan.  He got as close as he could, for a brief moment, to Aaron so that he could take in as much of his scent as possible and avoid losing track of him in that place.  This was accomplished by Tharon dropping down onto all fours and running very much like a wolf would, he even managed to bite a small piece of the TheaBrid's clothing off to have a permanent source of his smell to compare to.  That done, he dropped back to get in line with the other agents.

Aaron of course entered the station ahead of them, but that wasn't much of an issue for them.  Rayleigh was able to pick him out quickly and Tharon followed right behind as the TheaBrid's scent trail led him right to the fellow.  It didn't seem like things were going to be getting very difficult, until some yahoo from the back decided that Rayleigh needed a fist to compliment his attire.  A fist that soon found itself caught in a large furry paw with meat-hook claws upon it.

"Well look who just made my day!"  Tharon laughed aloud as he put his great strength to use in making to throw Makuna a good ways away from the man he'd just attacked.  Attor would perhaps recognize him for who he was, and perhaps not.  All the same, Tharon caught the scent of the Thean Warrior spirit residing within his chosen foe and immediately recognized it.  It was reptilian to be sure, but he couldn't quite tell more than that.  A slight scowl formed on his face in response to this realization, but not more than that.  He'd need to definitively see the Thean Warrior form of this TheaBrid to tell if it was one of the primordial beasts he hated so.

The situation, as Sienna had predicted, turned quite sour. The U.W.A.'s representatives had approached Aaron with the utmost aggressive approach, leading him to make a flashbang to escape. Cloaking her eyes with her sleeve, Grace shielded herself from the light, grunting as everything began to run out of control. Fortunately, it seemed everyone had rushed out, leaving Grace to her things. With this the lady brushed herself off and pouted. "How rude..." However, she stopped herself half way through as she took a moment to look at her Thean Warrior.

Sienna leered towards Aaron and the rest, in her eyes a fiery passion Grace had never witnessed before. Grace could tell from a mile Sienna longed, needed to get involved in this. Her blood was boiling. With a soft chuckle, Sienna shot a look over to Grace whom, in turn, simply said "Go ahead!" while sticking out her arms.

Sienna, confused, looked to Grace with a raised brow. "Go ahead...?"

"Take over, and go get 'em!" Grace said in her peppy, ever optimist manner. "I'll be safe, 'cause I know there'll never be anyone who can take you down Sienna!"

This brought Sienna to sigh. "But-"

"No "buts"! When else are you going to get a chance like this around me, hm?" Grace said with a sweet smile; this brought Sienna to smile and roll her eyes, before nodding as she brought her hands, albeit spectral, upon Grace's - this caused Grace to switch places with her Thean Warrior. The experience of this wasn't too spectacular - a simple flash of light enveloping them enabled Sienna to take corporeal form.

With this Sienna scowled as she began to scale a wall, leaping to the fire escape and scaling it to follow in pursuit, using Tharon's footsteps to do so, so much so she made her way down to Atlus station just the same as the other pursuers. Growling as she saw the wolf Thean engage in battle with what seemed to be a man, but smelled something else, she groaned what with all the people around - Sienna decided it'd be wise to clear the people from the area as fast as possible, and decided to do so by finding a P.A. Announcer, informing him of the situation and asking him to clear the station of people. Within a matter of minutes, people would be evacuating Atlus Station, giving Sienna but a chance to make sense of the situation.

Makuna was totally taken aback from the result of his attack. He had prepared for the dark-haired man to be knocked on his butt. He had prepared for the dark-haired man to intercept the punch. He had prepared for the dark-haired man to dodge and quickly retaliate...but he had not prepared for the wolf creature to catch up so readily and block his well aimed punch with a massive paw. Obviously unprepared for such a turn of events, Makuna's warrior instincts were taken completely by surprise and did not kick into action until well after he was thrown far away from the wolf warrior. Unfortunately, no amount of warrior instinct could prevent him, at this point, from colliding with a concrete pillar that knocked him out cold.

As he stared up at the slightly flickering lights of the now emptying Atlas Station, he could see the darkness of unconsciousness slowly creep towards his vision. He had experienced being knocked out enough to know that it was supposed to happen suddenly and not the gradual take over that he was experiencing. Something was wrong. Did that wolf poison him? Was he dying? You wish... The evil voice hissed at Makuna. It was in that instant that Makuna really began to panic. This couldn't happen. Not now. There were too many people around. Atlas City was filled with victims...filled...with meat.

The reptilian Thean got up from where the pathetic human had been thrown. He watched as a tiger Thean helped herd the majority of the babbling prey out of the enclosed underground transportation center. The tiger Thean would no doubt prove a threat sooner or later, but right now he had much bigger fish to fry. Attor turned his attention to the large wolf Thean that had intercepted the pitiful excuse of an attack that Makuna had launched. He had picked up on his sent since he had entered the station. It was hard not to notice the stench of an age old predator. An age old enemy. A soon to be snack. He knew the legend of the white wolf and the danger that he had posed to Attor's ancestors.

"Well played, mangy animal. But now it is time for a real opponent." Attor's tail flicked absentmindedly behind him, and a normal person would no doubt be fooled by such a meaningless action, but Attor knew that the white wolf wouldn't fall for such a trick. Attor had sent two speeding, poisonous spikes right for the wolf Thean.

A flash of motion was visible in front of Tharon as the Thean's claws cut those toxic spines out of the air and left the fragments clinking harmlessly against the ground.  The smell of an ancient foe filled his nostrils as his eyes fell upon a form all too familiar to him.  He had no idea of how long it had been since he'd seen such a form, but he could tell it was a very long time.  Still, this beast looked and smelled so much closer to the primordial reptiles he had slaughtered in his days of heroism.  His nostrils flared as he took the being's smell in again, so as to never forget it and never lose it.  The pretty tiger lady off to the side was not his concern at this moment, nor was the Lion TheaBrid behind him.

"If two meager spines are all you can muster then you'll fall faster than your slimy queen's guards."  He chuckled, and bared those razor-sharp teeth of his in anticipation.  Taunting aside, this fellow looked like he would prove a far greater challenge than the usual rabble he was called to deal with on the U.W.A.'s behalf.  Maybe he'd even have to draw one of his weapons for this.  All the same, he planted a paw firmly against the ground and propelled himself forward in a charge at this basilisk before him.

Rather than keep a simple charge going, he launched himself through the air in a leap with his arms and hand-paws spread out before bringing them in together so as to bring those claws of his to bear on Attor's body and hopefully give the reptile a taste of their razor-like edges.  Tharon already knew this was gonna be fun.

The wolf Thean did as expected, knocking Attor's pair of spines out of the air with barely a flick of movement. Attor could tell that he was in for quite the game. He had never hunted prey so qualified as his current opponent. It was bound to be fun. He would finally kill the creature that had slain so many of his brothers and sisters so many years ago. Of course, Attor wasn't exactly a young Thean by any means, but the white wolf was still long before his time. He would have to be careful...he would have to savor the moment.

Attor studied the beast in the moments before it lunged for him, taking note of the way the creature's nostrils flared as it took in Attor's scent. The reptilian Thean knew that he would never be able to escape the Thean's pursuit if this battle didn't end in his death. His scent had been caught...but it was no matter. Attor fully intended to kill the white wolf. Tharon leapt for Attor's throat, his claws fully extended. The gleaming meat hooks moved closer and closer, and yet the yellow eyes of Attor didn't show any sign of panic or concern...not even the slightest hint of worry. In the moments before the claws would make contact, Attor's tail flicked into motion. Moving as if to curl around the wolf's paws, Attor fully intended to intercept the attack and send the wolf rolling to the side. Afterward, he would unleash a number of quick slashes that would release a wave of toxic energy at the wolf.

With the suspect captured, Rayleigh could finally relax for a bit; maybe even get back to his research. And if it does turn out that this boy isn't the one with the documents, at least Rayleigh will have the peace of mind of knowing that the real thief won't be able to escape the city now - not until Rayleigh or someone higher up gives the order to allow people to exit the city. He'll have to make sure that the Atlas City Station receives the order to stop their trains for the time being. In any case, Rayleigh made sure the suspect wouldn't have any place to run to as he awaited Miyuki to arrive at his position. Suddenly, Rayleigh noticed an unusual individual approaching him and the suspect at a suspiciously quick pace.

Reading the man's body language, Rayleigh could foretell what was coming next. With that noted, Rayleigh discreetly reached for his blade fastened at his waist - he did not want to show the man what he was reaching for. And just as Rayleigh had anticipated, the man launched his fist straight for his face. Rayleigh swiftly unsheathed his sword with the intent of slicing the man's arm cleanly in two but before Rayleigh could unsheathed his sword entirely, he was abruptly interrupted. The hulking wolf Thean, Tharon, had stepped in the way and caught the incoming fist, much to Rayleigh's surprise; Tharon seems pretty quick on his feet as well. The wolf Thean then proceeded to toss the man a good distance away from the three of them - Tharon, himself, Rayleigh and the suspect included.

Elsewhere in the station, the female TheaBrid - from whom Rayleigh saw earlier attempting to apprehend the suspect - had managed to get a hold of the station's P.A. system and began evacuating the majority of the civilians. Rayleigh looked around and took note of the ensuing chaos. Clearly, he was not in any way thrilled of how things were proceeding. As Rayleigh looked back towards the man who assaulted him, he noticed an even more surprising sight: a Thean - a reptilian Thean. "(So he's a TheaBrid.)" Rayleigh thought; his calm expression remained unchanged. Judging by their stances, Rayleigh expected a brawl to break out between the two non-humans. If that were the case, at least one non-human is on his side regardless if Rayleigh is happy with that fact or not.

"If you're going to fight him, at least bring him to a state where we can take him in for questioning." Rayleigh told Tharon. By the time the fighting had began, the last of the panicked civilians evacuated the station. At least now Rayleigh could be at ease that no civilians would be harmed.

Tharon's planned charge might have seemed to have backfired from the perspective of one who was looking on, but this was an eventuality that he had planned for and had in fact been hoping for.  As the tail made about curling around his paws he set the second plan of attack into motion.  His paws closed tightly around that powerful tail and his meat-hook claws dug through the scales and into the flesh beyond.  As Attor made his attempt at rolling Tharon to the side, the wolf was able to pull his prey along in the roll, in the process dragging the basilisk quite forcefully along the floor of the train station.  Once on his feet again, he used his hold of the reptile's tail to give him the leverage he needed to put all of his significant strength into hurling the creature well into the air above their heads.

This would of course cause a brief pause in the combat, which Tharon used to turn his gaze towards Rayleigh.  It was easy to tell the man had no love of Theans, or anything but full humans as much as he could figure, but for now the two of them seemed to be on the same side.  "Yeah yeah I won't kill him.  You just focus on catching that other TheaBrid fellow."

By the time he'd said this, Attor would have reached the maximum height that the throw would have taken him and to that end Tharon jumped.  His powerful legs cracked the cement beneath him as he was propelled into the air, his right paw stretched out and at the ready to grab a hopefully stunned reptilian and prepare him for the final blow.  Of course his other paw was held back and curled into a fist so that he could have an alternative method of attack if the first one did not work properly.

Attor let out a violent curse as he realized that he had mistaken the wolf for being inept in combating an opponent with an extra appendage. Instead of being taken by surprise by the use of his tail, the wolf Thean had used it to his advantage and quickly advantage of the whole situation. Before Attor could even think about retaliating he was thrown into the air, causing him to be trapped in open space. Instead of panicking, Attor turned his attention to his opponent. Attor could see things happening before they did as he predicted the situation and how it would unfold.

The white wolf would know that a prolonged battle would play to Attor's benefit, as it took only one hit to inspire some sort of affliction in his opponent. That would mean that he would want to finish off Attor quickly. Just as the thought crossed his mind he watched as the wolf's leg muscles tensed and bunched together. Beneath the warrior's weight the concrete cracked, revealing that his next move would no doubt be a painful. Attor couldn't allow himself to be hit.

As the wolf warrior rocketed towards the sitting duck that was Attor, the reptile began to pool energy in his claws, causing them to glow a deep purple color. One touch from them and the wolf's fur and skin would be seared and start to boil. It was a mild toxin, meant only to cause pain, but a lot of it. Something that painful would be quite the distraction in battle and would no doubt prove quite the nuisance. The only problem now would be to land a hit. Tharon moved closer and closer, but Attor knew he would have to wait for the exactly right moment. Not yet...not yet...NOW!

Erupting into action, Attor's tail lashed outward, extending to its maximum length and grabbing on to one of the steel girders that lined the ceiling. Pulling himself to the side, Attor watched as Tharon flew past, no doubt beginning to realize the position he was in. Not waiting for Tharon to escape the deadly helplessness of open air, Attor slashed at the passing wolf, hoping to land just a mild cut on the length of his arm or abdomen...perhaps his leg. Any would prove dangerous to the warrior's ability to fight.

After striking, Attor landed on the ground and took the chance to look at who remained in the station. There was of course the group of people that had chased after the TheaBrid and the TheaBrid himself, but there appeared to be a few people that were cowering in the corners of the station that had not been able to get out due to the two battling monsters. Attor smiled an evil smile. Scurrying over to one such person, he lifted the man up and brought his spiked tail to the man's throat, getting a good grip. He now had a hostage. These goody-goodies wouldn't dare sacrifice the life of an innocent. Of course, Attor planned to kill the struggling man no matter what happened. It was just too much fun to pass up.

As he waited for one of the warriors in the station to make a move, Attor could feel something in the back of his mind begin to twist. Makuna had regained consciousness and was no doubt fighting for control of his body. Attor hissed quietly. This battle had to be ended soon.

This battle between Attor/Makuna and the U.W.A. had kept going, finally allowing the REAL TheaBrid seeing this. He slowly turned around, seeing this as he cursed under his breath. He quickly moved away as he hid behind a pillar, watching this. This is bad...my contact isn't here yet...but this is the location...I need to buy him time! he thought as he put the bag down, kicking it under the chairs as he slowly walked out once again, before whistling. "My, my...you U.W.A. lapdogs did well...too bad you kept going after the wrong person." he simply said, his eyes turning a bright golden feral.

"So your the one these people are after..." Aaron's voice was heard as he moved away from the group as he stood before them. His fists began to clench as he looked straight at the young man. "Care to tell me you name?"

The young man grinned as he laughed a bit. "Well...the name is Drew. That's all you need to know...now, how about we turn up the heat here?" Drew asked with a huge grin as he snapped his fingers and invoked his Pryme Change as fire surrounded him. A loud war cry was heard, as the fire dissipated giving form to Drew's Thean Warrior. "Hehehe, so your Drew's problem? HA! No match what so ever for Tarus!!" the bull warrior laughed.

But...there was another laughter...this came from Aaron.

"And here I thought your Thean Warrior would've been something a lot worse!" Aaron laughed, as he wiped tears from his eyes, before his whole demeanor changed. "Just let me tell you who your up against!"

"The name is Aaron Richmond. And me and my Thean Spirit brother and I are going to kick your sorry bovine tail from here to the end of both our worlds!!" Aaron said in a defiant tone. "In the Darkness, your light ignites the path! Unleash your claws and fangs upon my enemies! ROAR AXEL LEO"

Fairy Tail OST ~ Lighting Flame Dragon Roaring

With this phrase, light began to surround Aaron as he began to shine brightly, his Pryme Change activating as the light dissipated, to show Axel Leo standing where his human partner stood, with his arms crossed. "Axel Leo, at your service...prepare to have your bovine tail beaten to a bloody pulp!" he growled as he bared his fangs at Tarus.

Just when Rayleigh thought the situation had begun to sort itself out, another concern arose. This one goes by the name of "Drew". Apparently, the suspect from before isn't the one Rayleigh should be going after; the real suspect had just decided to show himself for whatever reason. Strange, he could've kept quiet but, instead, he decided he could take care of the matter on his own. It at least confirmed that Atlas City Station is the place where the transaction would've taken place. Rayleigh stood back and watched the brief conversation taking place between the previous suspect and this Drew character. From what Drew had said, it all but confirms his status as the one Rayleigh has been wasting his time looking for.

After Drew had finished his taunt, he used his Pryme Change to transform into a bull Thean - an angry-looking, flame-spewing one at that. This helped to confirm that Watcher had been lying all along to Rayleigh. Rayleigh would make sure he'd regret that. The previous suspect, or more accurately now, ex-suspect, revealed himself to be Aaron Richmond and proceeded to taunt Tarus back. Not long after, he also performed a Pryme Change and transformed into Axel Leo - lion warrior Thean with the impressive ability to control light; indeed, quite impressive. It's no wonder why he said the U.W.A repeatedly contacted him to coerce him into joining the organization. Rayleigh, however, couldn't care less. He was no longer of any interest now.

Before Rayleigh could attempt to apprehend Tarus, he was contacted by the U.W.A agents he had sent to track Watcher. "Rayleigh, Sir, we caught Watcher attempting to sneak out of Atlas City through an underground tunnel." the contacting agent reported.

"Well did you apprehend him?" Rayleigh questioned.

"As you directed, Sir." the agent responded positively.

"Good. It seems our friend has been lying this entire time. Escort him back to HQ. I'm sure our interrogators could squeeze a couple more secrets out of him before we lock him up." Rayleigh stated. "Also, send another squad to Atlas City Station. We have a situation developing." Rayleigh ordered.

"Right away, Sir." the agent replied before cutting off communications.

Rayleigh walked up and stood beside Axel, ignoring him and focusing his attention on Tarus. "Watcher has just been apprehended. You're losing friends like flies out here, Tarus. You might want to surrender now as well before matters get worse for you." Rayleigh calmly warned.

Tharon was impressed by his foe's quick thinking as he shot along past the lizard thean towards the Atlas Station ceiling.  Of course Attor had made the slight mistake of expecting him to be bothered by a simple chemical burn on his left leg.  Sure the thing hurt like sin, but the pain of battle was just something that Tharon enjoyed far too much to let it distract him.  Still, that jump of his took him a bit too high and so up he went straight through the ceiling of the structure and out the other side.  Thankfully he didn't strike any support beams, but he was now out in the open air and still climbing a ways.  He soon stopped and landed, rather comfortably, on the roof of the structure before making his way to the hole he had left in his wake.

He saw the fight that was beginning to brew between the Thean Bull and the Lion, both of whom he was fairly certain would make admirable foes but neither of whom were his prey, and also he saw Attor picking up a human and thinking a hostage would save him.  Tharon almost laughed, but he wanted to surprise his prey so laughter was not an option for the moment.  He thought for a second, and then the perfect idea came to him.  Thus it was that he reached down, grabbed the edges of the hole with his clawed paws, and proceeded to throw himself towards Attor.  As if the speed produced by his own strength was not enough, he spawned a Singularity in his path which in mere moments sent the room into near total darkness as the light was whisked away.  Mid-flight he turned himself about to aim those powerful legs of his at the reptillian Thean and waited until gravity and his own strength brought him within reach.  As it did, he kicked out and made to attempt digging those claws of his deep into his prey's scaly hide.  Were Attor not able to get out of the way he would surely be thrown to the ground with crushing force and likely drop his victim.

Of course that was not all that was in store for his rival.  Hoping to further weaken his prey, but not kill him as he'd been instructed to bring him in alive for the U.W.A., he utilized one of his more terrifying abilities.  Attor, and likely Makuna as well if he was in any way conscious within that body, was soon to feel his strength ebbing and pain throughout his whole body as the very life force within him was drained away through the claws dug into his flesh.  Furthermore, as the light began to return to the room, he'd see that blistering burn wound on Tharon's leg begin to heal of its own accord.  This is all, of course, dependent upon Tharon managing to hit the reptile to begin with.

Attor shifted nervously as he watched the wolf Thean disappear through a hole that he had created in the ceiling. Having an opponent out of sight was never a good thing, especially when it came to this particular adversary. The white wolf had so far proven himself to be fully capable in combating whatever Attor could throw at him. Of course, it wasn't as if Attor was using his abilities to their full potential, but any average opponent would have been quickly taken down by even the most basic of Attor's tactics. The legends behind this wolf obviously weren't exaggerated. He truly was a force to be reckoned with.

Before Attor could devise a plan of action to deal with the disappearing of Tharon, the situation between the remaining U.W.A members and the rogue TheaBrid began to evolve. It would have appeared that the U.W.A's real target had revealed himself, making them look quite the fool for chasing after the other TheaBrid in the first place, but of course he had led them to where they needed to be so it wasn't quite as disastrous for them as it could have been. The true target revealed himself to be a TheaBrid, transforming into a bull Thean.

Lost in his analysis of the situation, Attor had completely left himself open to Tharon's attack from above. The wolf Thean careened towards the lizard Thean, but Attor didn't have long to study the situation as the light in the room seemed to be sucked into oblivion, plunging the world into complete darkness. Attor scrambled to escape the attack that he knew would come, letting his struggling hostage go. However, the sudden darkness had confused his sharp senses and he wasn't able to escape the speed of the white wolf.

Attor let out a hiss of pain as he felt the meat hook-like claws of Tharon pierce his scaly armor. While the attack was painful, it was nothing that Attor hadn't felt before. What truly made him uncomfortable was the continued mental assault that Makuna was launching against him. The human had been fighting for control of his body since Attor had taken over and it appeared that the sudden assault from Tharon had shocked Attor just enough to drop his mental guard. The human was slowly gaining control. Attor hissed again, this time in resignation. If the puny meat bag wanted to deal with the white wolf on his own, then fine. He would have to deal with the pain.

[hr]

Makuna sat patiently in the darkness, knowing from experience that any attempt to physically combat the shadows would lead only to disappointment. Instead, he turn his fight inward as he fought against the grip of the scaly demon that held his body hostage. Makuna was trapped in his own subconscious and the only way to escape and regain his body was to overpower the mental fortitude of Attor.

Makuna opened his eyes to an explosion of color and pain. Blood welled from puncture wounds in his shoulder where the large white Thean kept him bound to the ground. But, that wasn't even the most painful part. Pain radiated from every pore of his body, as if his very essence was being torn away. Makuna cried out, struggling with the immense strength of the Thean, but he knew it was a fruitless battle. Even in the best of circumstances he would have never been able to overpower Tharon with just brute force. So instead, Makuna had to resort to a more desperate action. Pushing his hand towards the wolf creature's chest, Makuna released a blast of [acronym='a weakened Black Death']black energy.[/acronym]

"Watcher has just been apprehended. You're losing friends like flies out here, Tarus. You might want to surrender now as well before matters get worse for you."

"A needless sacrifice...the puny human was only to keep you U.W.A. pigs off our tail..." Tarus snorted in a confident tone, as he directed his attention to Rayleigh. Apparently, he thought that Watcher was actually his friend...the poor soul was sadly mislead on that notion. The next motion he made was that of summoning flames to his hand, as a weapon: a battle axe, materialized as he swung it as it rested on his shoulders.

"Lucky for you then...I'm not apart of the U.W.A!" Axel grinned a bit as he got in a stance, as he took a deep breath, as his muscles began to loose their tenseness.

You ready for this, Axel? Aaron asked, as Axel saw his human host in the spectral form.

Magi OST ~ Enfin Apparu!!

Heh, you should know the answer to that. Axel simply thought back, as he roared loudly and rushed towards Tarus in a quick dash of speed. He launched a few quick punches at Tarus, but they were quickly deflected by the bull Thean's battle axe.

"That the best you got, kid?" Tarus asked, as he began to swing the axe straight at Axel, in a horizontal motion.

Axel smirked a bit as he held his paws apart from each other, as suddenly light began to form between his paws, but it wasn't just light. No, quite the contrary...it also seemed like aura. There was indeed a distinct quality and atmosphere that was being emitted and generated from this TheaBrid...and it was quite impressive. The lion smirked as the light/aura began to form an orb, as he launched it from his paws, sending the aura sphere towards Tarus.

Tarus charged at Axel like a raging bull (go figure), as he swung his axe wildly, only to stop in mid-charge as Axel launched the Aura Sphere. He summoned a quick wall of flames as the sphere was dissolved. But it was strange...Tarus had never seen anyone on Protollus use the abilities given from aura...so how was this kid...?

"Heh, I ain't done yet...prepare for a royal beatdown!" the lion TheaBrid smirked as he cracked his knuckles once again.

The Pale Wolf staggered for but a moment as that stream of black energy collided with his chest, and this of course led to those claws of his being wrenched around in the wounds they were currently occupying.  Not that he cared.  His oath binding him to the U.W.A. only required him to follow his orders and his orders at this moment were only to bring this human in alive.  He did find it odd that the fellow was dressed in a very different manner as compared to the rest of the humans he'd seen, Rayleigh included, but he didn't let that bother him too much.  The effect of that beam was certainly getting to him, and he could feel his senses beginning to blur as it threw off his  sense of place and made balancing a real chore.  This needed to end, and quickly.

So it was that the draining of life-energy from his foe ceased and he lifted his right hand into the path of the beam, interrupting it and granting him some relief from the spell's effects.  Of course true relief came as he managed to summon forth the only real sort of defensive technique he had.  In moments, Makuna would find himself staring directly into the void.  A single point upon his palm spawned, and into this point everything within reach was drawn.  That black energy was pulled into it, leaving it such that all Makuna was now doing by using it was weakening himself, and were it not for the fact that Tharon was standing on top of the boy it was likely that he would have been drawn in himself.  The sickening sensation of one's weight being shifted suddenly in the opposite direction was what could be felt, and around this young boy chunks of the ground were being ripped off and sucked right into this void.

"It is pointless for you to continue fighting," the white wolf began while steadily lowering that singularity towards his prey's face.  "Surrender now, and you will be arrested but still you will be alive.  Continue to resist, and I cannot guarantee that I won't accidentally smash your skull against a wall in the process of subduing you.  Do we understand each other?"

Hiro lazily scrolled through the lines, upon lines, of text that occupied his terminal screen. He was supposed to be reading up on the latest reports sent in by field agents, but his heart just wasn't in it. Of course, how could it be? Here he had spent four years in training to be a field agent, and where did that get him? Sitting in a hard plastic chair, reading about the latest exploits of those that actually got to see some action. This definitely wasn't the adventure that Hiro had signed on for.

Hiro mumbled a few particularly vulgar curse words as a message appeared on his browser that alerted him to another report being submitted. The thought crossed his mind to punch the screen, but the last time had done that he had been sent to organize the old report room, before the U.W.A had gone paperless, and Hiro had had enough paper cuts to last him a life time. Instead, he mumbled another string of curses that got the attention of one of his fellow agents that sat in the terminal next to him.

"Is everything alright?" The agent asked. Hiro was surprised to find that the person's voice was feminine. He stood up, peeking over the dividing wall.

"Doing just fine." Hiro said in a grouchy voice as he studied the woman. She was around Hiro's age, as were most of the agents that were stuck on the desk. They 'just didn't have the experience necessary' for a field assignment, or so that is what each of them had been told. Hiro thought it was a bunch of bullsh*t and that the higher ups were just catering to their more senior agents out of favoritism.

"You don't sound fine." The woman asked, her intoxicating green eyes meeting Hiro's. "Bad day?" She ventured.

"Exceptionally..." Hiro said dismissively and then slumped back into his cubicle. Normally, he would have hit the girl up and probably got her number, but the events of the morning had put him in quite the sour mood and he just wasn't feeling it. Earlier this morning he had heard the Commander call for the pompous agent, Rayleigh, to send him out on some uber important mission. Typical. They up-and-ups got to have all the fun, while the newer agents got to shift through their reports and be treated like crap.

The frustration Hiro felt could almost be felt in the air around him, but he just didn't see a way around the hierarchical, bureaucratic sh*t that the U.W.A was comprised of. Among frustration, Hiro was suffering from boredom. It wasn't like sifting through reports was a new task for him, but recently the head office had cut his access to outside networks. Hiro had gone up to talk to them about it a few days earlier and they said that it was the only appropriate response to an agent that was found looking up 'adult videos'. Of course Hiro had handled that about as well he was handling the cut-and-dry life of being an office clerk.

He let out a sigh as he opened the newest report and was surprised to find that a video was attached. Opening it up, Hiro found himself watching a number of fleeing people from Atlas Station. Once the majority of the crowd dispersed he took note of a fight breaking out between none other than Rayleigh and a multitude of TheaBrids. "Screw this." Hiro muttered, getting up from his terminal. He was done sitting on the sidelines.

Several minutes later...

Hiro pushed through the crowds, finally taking out his badge to clear the civilians that blocked the entrance to Atlas Station. Finally making his way to the underground transit, Hiro stopped in his tracks and moved to take shelter behind a nearby ticket booth. He watched the scene unfold as an apparent TheaBrid underwent a Prymal Change, revealing himself to harbor a bovine Thean Warrior. The self proclaimed Taurus looked pretty tough, but his opponent, a lion TheaBrid, boasted a bit more of an impressive aura. There was definitely something different about that guy. At that moment, Hiro noticed a few civilians huddled in one of the forgotten corners of the train station. They were obviously terrified, but had no way to escape with drawing the attention of the obviously dangerous combatants.

"Finally, some action." Hiro focused his energy, summoning a large black flower to appear beneath him, swallowing him in its ebony petals. A few moments later he silently appeared next to the quivering family. Upon noticing his appearance the youngest of them squealed in surprise, but he raised a finger to his lips. "I'm gonna get you out of here." Hiro instructed them each to take his hands and for the second time, Hiro called upon the massive flower to safely transport the innocents away from danger.

Now the real fun would begin. Walking back down the stairs, Hiro didn't even bother to conceal his movements. "Hey cow-patty!" He jeered, attempting to get the attention of Taurus. "He isn't going to be the only one to beat down your bovine ass!" With that declaration, Hiro sent a mass of thorny vines in the fiery TheaBrid's direction.

"Hey cow-patty! He isn't going to be the only one to beat down your bovine ass!"

This outburst was heard by the group, as Hiro entered Atlas Station's fight. And from Axel and Aaron's point of view, this U.W.A. kid was actually one of the ones that seemed to have a bit of the same mentality as them...which was good.

However, from Tarus and Drew's point of view...this was ALL they needed right now. "Well then...these cretins just coming out to play...whatever, more fuel for my flames!" the bull warrior smirked, as he then saw a few bullets shot at the feet the U.W.A. lackeys feet. "Well its about damn time you idiots got here..." Tarus yelled at a few humans in suits holding Uzis began to walk to stand beside Tarus.

"Apologizes..." one of the gunmen said, before whispering to Tarus. The bull Thean Warrior flashed a small grin as he pointed his battle axe towards the U.W.A. group. "Seems as if the sides have evened out...still think you U.W.A. morons have what it takes to beat us?"

Axel smirked as he crossed his arms. "Dunno bout them...but I know I definitely can!" he said, before flipping Tarus off, making him become even more "steamed" than he already was.

"Leave him...he's mine!"

"Leave him...he's mine!"

Both Thean Warriors spoke these words, as the rushed at each other once again, matching each other, blow for blow. With this as a signal, the gunmen began to shoot and even rush at the U.W.A. warriors that were in the fight.
