The surviving test subjects are showing incredible results. We have been unable to determine what causes the termination of some subjects, and not others, but I have a theory in the works. Each of the surviving test subjects show some sort of intense emotional or physical trauma in the past, and while they of course do not remember anything about their past selves, I believe it was the strength gained from such experiences that saw them through the experiment. We plan to start more intensive tests tomorrow. I have high hopes for this project.

5. Note that while we will always be accepting new applicants, that there will be times during this RP that it is not opportune to introduce a new character. You may be required to wait to partake in IC posting until it is an appropriate time to do so.

6. You may reserve a spot, but if you do not have at least a WIP application up in a few days after the reserve, then anyone is free to take whatever you may have reserved

7. You may have as many characters as you think you can handle, but if you start to get out of hand, I will bar any more applications

[spoiler=Plot]

Since the failure of the Mewtwo Project, Team Rocket has returned to their normal business as a major crime organization. They have refrained from dabbling in genetics projects thus far, but old habits die hard. With a new head of the Team Rocket's Research and Design Sector, Doctor Yaeger, Team Rocket is looking once again to create a species that is a step ahead of the current model. However, this time they are not looking to modify Pokemon, but instead people. By isolating the gene that allows some Pokemon to evolve, Doctor Yaeger, and his team of scientists, were able to extract the gene and place it in a number of test subjects. While most of the test subjects died, a few did survive the process and demonstrated amazing results.

 

After having the Evolution Gene inserted, each test subject began to demonstrate abilities that had previously only been seen in Pokemon. Each demonstrated an increased amount of strength, speed, and reaction time. Several demonstrated increased senses, particularly sight and smell. However, the most interesting of changes was the more extreme abilities. Each test subject developed a power, similar to that of the Pokemon that the Evolution Gene that they had inserted into them was extracted from. Project Genesis was a success.

Surviving Test Subject

You find yourself in a strange facility with strange people and all in all...you are feeling a bit strange. To add to your confusion, you have no memory of how you got there...or...or...of who even are. However, that isn't even the most peculiar of things. You have begun demonstrate amazing abilities, abilities that you are beginning to learn how to control.  How will you use said abilities?

 

Team Rocket Operative

Whether you are a grunt or a higher up, you know the newest leap that Team Rocket is making. Whether or not you agree with it is one thing, but you have been ordered to comply. Will you be a good soldier or disregard orders?

Well some how you have been or will be drug into the situation. Best not get yourself killed.

Project Genesis: The research project conducted by Dr. Yaeger, Team Rocket's Head of Research & Design, that has progressed to the testing stages. Done by extracting the Evolution Gene from Pokemon and placing it in humans, this genetic project would be deemed highly inhumane, as many Pokemon and humans die as a result. Thus, it has been kept securely under wraps. "No one" outside the Team Rocket organization knows about it.

GenEvo: The term coined by the scientists in the Research & Design sector for the surviving test subjects.

Evolution(Evo) Gene: The gene extracted from Pokemon and inserted into the subjects in Project Genesis

OverLution: OverLution occasionally happens to those inserted with the Evolution Gene. So far, no one has survived it, but it is speculated that if someone would survive OverLution they would have powers far above that of a normal GenEvo.

She wears an awfully revealing outpit that consists of breastplates with no strings attached and thong-like bottoms only, and an odd sigil is found on her midriff. She wears clawed gloves and high-heeled boots, and she has a small pair of devil-like wings and tail. The horns found on her pinkish hair are those of Gogoat. Her back is completely bare save her wings, and a sigil resembling a broken heart. Her demonic red eyes and bare fangs are most frightening In the day, she is 1.64 metres and stark naked, and her bust size reduced to a C. Instead of using Pokemon, she used her own fighting skills and the environment to knock out their Pokemon. She is capable of using numerous draining moves such as Draining Kiss. She is able to infatuate an individual regardless of their gender, although this is limited to ten. Usually her natural beauty makes this needless. Needless to say, she is capable of flight. She knows the move Play Rough, and has learnt Night Slash. Her clothing, wings, tail, claws and horns are actually made of the same odd matter that allows her to use Dark-Type attacks, and they will be destroyed by excessive light, specifically the morning sun. Regular light does nothing. With her horns, she has mastered Megahorn. Alice's physiology is most odd, as under the sun, she is weaker, and her moves change. Night Slash becomes Metal Claw, and Play Rough becomes Flare Blitz. More or less, I would prefer that the Pokemon have the possibility to have that ability/attack/power/etc, but so long as it make sense I am okay with that. For example, while Pikachu doesn't exactly have electromancy, if you wanted that for your character I wouldn't be opposed to it.

Despite the terrible ordeal that he has had to go through, Reid continues to be a happy, go-lucky kid. While no longer naive to the darkness and danger that exists in the world, he also doesn't constantly look for the bad. With bright eyes, Reid examines the world by looking for the best in everyone and everything. He is wonderfully curious and fascinated by just about anything. He is especially interested in Pokemon. Aspiring to be a Pokemon Professor when he grows up, Reid does his best to learn everything he can about Pokemon.

 

His natural curiosity makes Reid very attuned to what is happening around him, allowing him to pick up details that others often miss. While he doesn't always know what to do with the information he has uncovered, Reid's subconscious seems to always know what to do to keep him out of danger. In addition to being incredibly observant of his surroundings, Reid has the unusual ability of empathizing with people. He sees things from their point, understanding why they do 'bad things'. This sometimes leaves Reid to believe that he might be a 'bad guy', but this of course is not true. 

 

When interacting with Pokemon, Reid treats them just as he would treat a fellow human being. This leads to him making great relationships with most Pokemon he meets, as he sees them as not an object or creature to own, but rather an equal to work with. While he does enjoy the sport of Pokemon battling, when battles become too serious or too extreme he begins to detest the situation. The very idea that someone could use a Pokemon as a tool or weapon is sickening to him and will actively voice said concerns to just about anyone.

Reid's appearance does change on occasion. These occasions when he activates his powers. As Eevee is his donor, the evolution gene that was implanted him is very versatile, and thus very unstable. So while the procedure doesn't usually have physical effects on the patients, when activated, the gene does effect Reid's appearance. Most of the time, said change happens with his skin color, hair color, and/or eye color. On the more extreme changes Reid has been known to sprout a tail, his hair to catch on fire(which is harmless to him), or for him to sprout whiskers. These changes only last for a limited time, and thus when the gene becomes inactive again he begins to look like the above image again.

Being pretty young, Reid doesn't have much of a history. He has always been a bright individual and has always excelled at school. As a result he usually finds himself in the company of older children, and thus was occasionally picked on for being smaller, but once he proved himself worthy of being where he was at, Reid was largely accepted by his peers. 

 

Reid comes from a broken family. It wasn't some scandalous or tragic divorce, but rather a quiet one. His parents decided that they just didn't love each other anymore, and after talking about it with Reid, the family thought it best that they split up. Spending an equal amount of time at his mother's and father's house he has a good relationship with both, although he is particularly close to his dad. Since having disappeared, his parents have joined forces to find him. They are moving Heaven and Earth to find him.

Multi-Evolution: By having the evolution gene of Eevee, Reid's abilities constantly change depending on the situation. When exposed to a water stone, he develops water abilities, when exposed to a fire stone he develops fire abilities, and when exposed to a thunder stone he develops electric abilities. In addition, when Reid is in a heavily forested environment he develops abilities similar to that of Leafeon. Likewise, when in a frigid, tundra-like environment he develops the powers of Glaceon. When no other conditions are being met from the times between 11 AM-1 PM, Reid gains the abilities of Espeon and during the time of 11 PM - 1 AM he gains the abilities of Umbreon. When feeling a strong attachment to a person or a strong sense of security, Reid gains the abilities of Sylveon.

[spoiler=Water Stone: Vaporeon Abilities]

When exposed to a Water Stone, Reid develops the following powers.

Underwater Breathing: Reid is able to breath underwater

Superhuman Swimming: Reid is able to swim incredibly well, reaching speeds that would rival a speeding torpedo

Aquatic Transformation: Reid is able to transform certain sections of his body into water and then manipulate that section as he sees fit(for example, turning his right arm into water and then using it as a whip). The amount of his body he can transform is dependent on how much control he has over the power. Physical attacks do very little damage, however, electric based attacks are incredibly damaging.

Night Vision: In order to aid in underwater travels, Reid is able to see for quite some distance in even the darkest of environments

When exposed to a Fire Stone, Reid develops the following powers.

Heat Tolerance: Reid is unaffected by extreme temperatures.

Eruption: Reid is able to cause his body temperature to rise to an alarming degree, resulting in his skin catching alight. His speed and strength are also bolstered as a result

Flamethrower: Reid is able to shoot flames from his hands

Flame Consumption: Aside from the flames that he produces, Reid is able to absorb flames to heal him slightly
