Somewhere to put CCGs

I don't know if it's just me, but I've noticed a number of CCGs popping up, and I myself have created one in the past and am creating another, but it seems that the site doesn't know where they want to them to be, as they've been in about four different sections. I believe there should really be a home for these, considering how much effort people sometimes put into them and the fact that it looks weird to be able to see one in every section. I'm not necessarily saying to create its own section, but at least pick a section where they're supposed to go instead of just anywhere.

I think Other TCG is quite adequate to contain the CCGs, but maybe a new subforum may attract more attention to them. Though, I don't think there's enough influx of CCGs for it to have its own subforum, so best way is probably Other TCG for the actual info of the card game, and C&O for the discussion and miscellaneous things.

I do agree that likely there are not enough CCG to make their own section. However, there should still be a designated place for the threads to be, instead of scattered about. I had to post my original rules in the written cards section, and currently, without looking deeply into it, there is also a CCG in the Other TCG section, and even one that's an older thread in the Other TCG Deck section, which makes no sense really.

 

As far as where their cards would go, I'm not sure. It's possible to put them in the same thread, but then it is less likely to get individual feedback on the cards in my opinion. Still, it could be done. I know as well that whilst in development there is likely going to be both written and artworks of cards, and having multiple threads seems bothersome, but at the current time would be necessary due to the way rules are currently set up.

I'd probably say Other TCG or Any Other Cards. But I'm not a mod so what do I know? *shrug*

The Other TCG section in Custom Cards should be enough to hold CCGs for now, but would be nice to have their own area so they aren't spread across several forums here. 

 

Might be somewhere in the Other TCG area for the rules/mechanics and so forth and for the cards themselves, they can stay around in that section marked for other card games in CC. (Yeah, they're still in multiple forums but judging by how YCM is set up now, might be the only option for now). Probably better if they get a small forum inside the CC Area - Multiples area, since they technically fall under that category.

No it wouldn't. There's barely any Custom Card Games made by YCMers.

I'd say AOC (in CC section) or Other TCG (in TCG). It doesn't really matter which section, as long as it fits. If its interesting then people will go to it, imo.

Just to clarify, this isn't so much of a "where do I put these things" thread as a "there should be a rule of where these go" kind of a thing considering there currently isn't one being enforced it would seem.
