1V1 Battle (1st Of my life!) :D [Leaderboard] FS0IX vs. Sakura Haruno. Vote Now!

Hello. I am prepared to face whoever wants to face me.
Even though I had never done it. go for it all of you.
I don’t want one-sided battles. Here are the rules for the battles.
 

• All forum rules are enforced as always.
• I will allow op cards to a certain limit (No Instant wins Or X000 Atk. X000 Def. is fine, including effects that make it X000 Attack.)
• Make the battle as fair as possible.
• The deadline for entries is December 24. No Exceptions! (Because of Christmas!)

I will need judges to do this so please PM me if you want to.

2 level 12 Monsters
When this is Xyz Summoned: Destroy all Monsters on the field except this monster and one opponent's monster you target. During both your and Opponents  Standby phases this monster gains 1000 Atk. If it gets up to 5000 attack. Banish 1 Xyz Material to make its attack X000 until after your opponents 3 turns. If this is destroyed while "Sun Explosion" is active, destroy that card.

You cannot charge an entry fee to make a challenge (either you specify the challenge or the opponent decides what you two have to make). Other members will be the judges + grade based on how the cards are made and their opinion. Whoever wins at the end of the deadline (or has enough votes) gets a rep and because of Leaderboard (provided you want this to be marked as an official one and put [Leaderboard] in the thread title], your name put on the list. Generally speaking, first person to challenge you is usually the one you'll end up fighting.

 

Though if you want to challenge someone, guess I'm up for it then. When you accept, I'll put my card up so voting can start [generally you hold back on posting cards until you have a challenger]. (You're challenging with an Xyz; guess that'll be the theme this time)

That's alright (the rules in this section were written three years ago, so some of the stuff may be outdated).

 

Anyway, do you want this contest to be counted towards Leaderboard or not (see sticky at top of thread for details)? If you want it to be counted (because of the prizes), you'll need to put [Leaderboard] in title like it specifies there (go to the full editor and change title there; put your name v. whoever you're fighting against). If you don't want to have this marked as LB, that's okay with me, considering this section's been pretty dead as of late.

 

With that said, here's the card I'll be using.

 

 

2 Level 4 Warrior-Type or Beast-Warrior-Type monsters
Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: Target 1 Level 4 or lower Warrior-Type or Beast-Warrior-Type monster in your Deck; Special Summon that target. Its effect(s) are negated and is destroyed during the End Phase. When this card leaves the field because of a card effect while it has Xyz Materials: Target 1 Warrior-Type or Beast-Warrior-Type monster in your hand or Graveyard; Special Summon that target. Its effects are negated.

I give my vote to Sakura.

While I dislike the idea of a SS from the Deck, your card didn't really follow game rules. By nature, X000 DEF and ATK is a non-existant stat. And 2 Level 12s never make a Rank 6 Xyz. And no one plays Level 12's that would really summon this guy.

And what is Sun Explosion?

 

Still, X000 DEF is no different from X000 ATK.

well if i can vote (i never join Leaderboard 1v1 contest before, so im not sure if i can vote or not) i will vote Sakura's card because of many reasons

- first of all, TC card's Xyz Materials requirement (also many OCG) are not correct, for Xyz Summon u need to have the same level of monsters, as well as the rank of the Xyz monster u will summon

- second, it's not balance at all, ur monster effect is sounds this "i summon this, i get... each SP, i get..." no drawback or any restrictions, and u cant use ur own custom card for this type of contest, at least u should link other card makers to that card

- now about Sakura's card, yea nice eff, decent stat, good pic. its effects make it usable in many deck (i.e. Fire King since Yaksha and Barong are both Beast-Warrior) also some deck that play both Sync and Xyz can use this as well

FFS0iX, your undefined ATK (X000) in that last sentence will crash the gamestate when that effect is used (I'm making a joke on crashing ac computer since its an undefined situation).

 

In adition to what everyone else has said about that card not making sense and so on.

 

Props to you however for being brave enough to try leaderboard contests so early in your time here. I'm sure you'll learn quickly if you don't get discouraged and don't give up.

 

Sakura's card however is relevent to the meta to my knowledge, but not game breaking eg chaos emperor dragon envoy of the end so it gets my vote.

@Scary: Don't worry, you can vote even though you haven't been in a Leaderboard before (I've only been in one of these contests during my entire YCM career due to returning here in the middle of this year's Fall Season, but yet I voted in a few of these contests)

 

@TGM: Yeah, SS from Deck effects aren't really liked especially b/c of Rescue Cat/Rabbit shenanigans from what I know (especially the former since it works off one of the Types this card can bring out; though only one and it has effect negated, but with that matter, you would just use it to synch/Xyz/whatever before it dies).

 

X000 is only seen on the illegal/original versions of Slifer.

 

@TC: Don't worry, you'll get better at cardmaking in time. Just need to get acquainted to how game mechanics work.

 

 

Well, thanks to everyone who's voted thus far in this thread (it is nice seeing a 1v1 in here after a couple weeks of it being dead). At the moment, 3-0 in my case.

The card is a rank 6 when it needs 2 level 12 monsters.

Xyz's ranks are supposed to be on the level of the monsters it needs to summon.

But no one would waste 2 level 12 monsters, or would they even summon them unless they used loads of bad cards to get their monsters up to level 12.

You do realise X000 doesnt stand for infinite? It stands for that the effect will change the number of X so you def makes no sense as in the effect it doesnt state how much it will be.

And also once its attack becomes X000 by its effect it means it will have no attack. So I didnt get any of that.

The grammar is also pretty bad and the image is blurred.

Catastrophe should also be capitalized.

Grammar, Card Name, Pic are all pretty good.

I dont really like the idea of summoning from the deck and its attack is a bit too high.

 

But overall Sakura Haruno wins.

So I give Sakura my vote.

@.Wat: Although I think this contest is over (thus I've noted it in the Leaderboard thread), TC just said that entries need to be in by Dec 24th; nothing really about the win requirements. But I do thank you for the vote/reasoning.
