Armor Monsters!

I love the Armor Monsters from the Waking the Dragons arc of Yugioh. I know that a lot of people see it as filler, and well, it was, but that doesn't change that it was a lot of fun. The Armor monsters though, were in my opinion, the best thing the season gave us. I was really upset when we never saw them again afterwords.

 

Well, with the advent of the new Yugioh HD picture site, I wanted to create these cards into a deck that would be usable, along with tweaking a few of them to be more balanced all together. I'm not sure how well I'm going to do, but here's what I have so far.

 

[spoiler=Active Guard]

 

When an Armor monster is targeted for an attack, you can redirect that attack to this monster. When this card is destroyed: You take no damage the rest of this turn.

When this card is Normal Summoned, you can place it in your Spell and Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell with the following effect:

-You take no battle damage from battles involving Armor monsters.[/spoiler]

 

 

[spoiler=Advanced Shield]

 

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. While you control an Armor monster, you can Special Summon this card from your hand.

When this card is Special Summoned, you can place it in your Spell and Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell with the following effect:

-Armor monsters cannot be destroyed in the first battle they are in per turn.[/spoiler]

 

 

[spoiler=Big Bang Blow]

 

If this card attacks an opponent's monster: Destroy both cards and inflict damage to both players equal to half that monster's ATK.

When this card is Normal Summoned, you can place it in your Spell and Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell with the following effect:

- When an Armor monster attacks: You can destroy the attack target. After 2 monsters are destroyed with this effect: Destroy this card.[/spoiler]

Just like you, I also think that the Armor Monsters are the best thing that arc ever gave us. And because it is a new type of cards I also made it it's own template, although I don't think it is that good but I didn't had any other idea but I don't mind if you want to share an idea for that template with me if you didn't like mine.
