Number C107: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon

3 Level 9 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; until the End pPhase, the effects of all other face-up cards currently on the field are negated, and during this turn, your opponent cannot activate the effects of cards on the field. If this card has “Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon” as an Xyz Material, it gains this effect.
• Tribute 2 monsters you control; during this turn,  this card can attack up to 3 monsters during each Battle Phase.

And here's the big guy. I like that they keeped its effect simple compared to the anime version.

But, but, I want to reset time...

We both know that the time reset effect would've been annoying as hell.

Also, the negation effect isn't tied to the Ranking Up, so any LV8 can become this bad boy rather easily.

4500 ATK + Uber-Negation = WIN!!!

Hmm...you could even feasibly put this into Heart-eartH.dek...

Well, I hope Argent Chaos force will be released sometimes in the future, and it can bring this out somehow.

Damn the fact that Astral has no LV7 targets for this.

Inb4RNK7 LIGHT and DARK Dragons come out.

But yeah... I still wanted this to have some kind of ATK boost effect since he's the only one who doesn't, but considering what he does that would probably be broken.

I had a feeling its effect would be simply "negate all other face-up cards, and prevent new activations for the turn"

The Rank-Up Effect is okay. It requires 2 Tributes, and you can only attack monsters, but it doesn't require Overlays. Overall, I'm satisfied.

You're online!

Will this be going into evilfusion.dek?

Doubtful. To use it at all, you'd have to run Rank-Up Magic Barian's Force or Numeron Force. Those cards are horrendous dead-draws in Rank 8 focused Decks.

What we need first is for C15, C40, and/or C88 to be released. Then running RUM will actually have a purpose other than this and CXyz Ultimatrainer (which isn't really any good compared to regular Giantrainer).

That said, C107 still has incredible potential in Galaxy Decks, if only because of Photon Sanctuary. Things like Photon Sanctuary, NS Galaxy Knight, revive Galaxy-Eyes, Overlay for Tachyon, use Rank-Up Magic for C107, Tribute both Tokens...yeah, it's got good potential to be used, I won't deny that. But don't overhype C107 in that Deck.

Just pointing out that Ultimatrainer is generic, so you can plop it on a used up Felgrand and get its effect. Plus it's first effect is stupid good. I still wouldn't run RUM, but Ultimatrainer's definitely a good card.

Also, never got why Tachyon evolves into King Ghidora.

Wow, I was expecting Konami to just butcher this thing and ruin it, after we waited so long for the IRL effect. Turns, out, I was wrong. It's NGEPD with a better first effect, and a less conditional but costlier second...

Also a bit weird how they switched which effect needs the original Galaxy-Eyes from what NGEPD had (NGEPD needed GEPD for the negation, but not the multiple attacking. Tachy's the opposite).

That's true. I always forget Ultimatrainer only requires an Xyz. Of course, since it needs Barian's Force specifically, this isn't much of a benefit. And Ultimatrainer is once-per-turn, making it less useful for Galaxy Decks to recover advantage. It'd turn that Felgrand into a bigger beater that trades Barian's Force for a draw. Not a good exchange.
